3. Join the World Assembly (WA).
Being a founderless region we are vulnerable to attack and being raided, by joining the WA you can fight for a free Middle Earth and help protect the realm. Every endorsement counts, the more our Delegate has the harder it is to raid us, and just one endorsement can make a huge difference.

In addition to being a big help to the region, the WA is also a significant part of the game and you'd be missing out if you don't have a WA nation at all. You build regional influence faster, and can vote in WA resolutions. The delegate also gets as many votes as they have endorsements, thus increasing Middle Earth's influence within the WA. If for whatever reason you'd rather not have your main nation join, consider having a secondary nation join instead.

Join the WA by visiting this link: http://www.nationstates.net/page=un

4. Post on the regional message board (RMB)!
The RMB is the heart of every region and crucial to the growth and development of [region]Middle Earth[/region]. Getting involved with the current discussion or starting up a new one helps keep things flowing. An active RMB helps the region flourish by keeping residents involved and helps to draw in new members. Responding to comments others post is also important, so that those who post don't feel ignored. A brief response is just common courtesy, and if people do it regularly more dialogue and activity will emerge.

The regional message board can be found at the bottom part of every region page, underneath the "Regional Happenings" section. You can also access it via this link: http://www.nationstates.net/region=middle_earth#rmb

5. Help Recruit for Middle Earth!
Recruiting is vital in any region, and [region]Middle Earth[/region] needs your help to keep it healthy and growing! Going through the feeder and sinker regions to recruit newly founded or refounded nations to join us here in Middle Earth. You can use this filter to find them here: http://www.nationstates.net/page=activity/view=world/filter=founding

Look around for other Tolkien themed nations to join Middle Earth. Or maybe you have a friend from real life who is also into Lord of the Rings, invite them to create a nation on NS and join us here. Remember the more the merrier!

Also, please keep in mind that there are specific rules when it comes to recruiting and do only recruit newly created/refounded nations that are IN the feeder / sinker regions to keep yourself out of trouble. For any inquiries, please contact the delegate or vice-delegate.

6. Approve of Middle Earth's Dispatches!
Reading over the various Dispatches of Middle Earth will help give you a better idea of how the regions is run and functions. Once you read a Dispatch, click the little up arrow in the corner to note you've read an liked it.

Dispatches can be seen by the nations all over NS, and the more popular aka more upped arrows a Dispatch has the more people who will see it. By up arrowing both official regional dispatches and dispatches by fellow residents, we can bring more esteem to Middle Earth and hopefully get the attention of interested new players to join our community.
