Impending Zombie Apocalypse Stirs Debate In Parliament
National parliament was in a stir yesterday when news broke of an impending zombie invasion.

The information had been provided by the Office of Scientific Advancement, a section under the Department of Education, Training and Research (DETR) responsible for supporting scientific research, and presented by Ulrich Giys MP, the Member for Kyprios who currently holds the portfolio.

What the two sides are saying
Empress Passenly Barr-Dayg: All health
services shall be stepping up to help research
a cure for this plague, and the government will
be standing behind them one hundred percent.
Opposition Leader Hegglen Tampash: This
government will try and claim any acclamation
for this, none of which they deserve. The people
who work hard for this country, to keep this
country safe, should not be jostled to the side
while a narcissistic government steals the
limelight for other people's achievements.

This invasion, set to occur in nine days, will be the third zombie uprising in eighteen months.

Parliament was brought to an uproar after Hegglen Tampash, the Member for Frebenere and leader of the Opposition, criticised the government, and especially the Empress, Passenly Barr-Dayg, for the failure to protect its citizens during the last invasion.

"It is evident that this government's days have passed," he was quoted as saying in parliament.

Empress Barr-Dayg attempted to provide reason for the failed attempt, stating "resources had been stretched thin" from the first attack, which occurred six months prior; however opponents have declared this as a whitewash by the government to excuse themselves from responsibility.

Damanucus, as with many member nations of New Warsaw Pact, have begun preparations into researching and developing a cure for the Zombie virus, which had mutated during the second wave, and is expected to mutate again.

The first cure preparation was rendered obsolete by the second, stronger wave.
