The Organized States Coast Guard is one of the 5 Armed Services and is the second oldest Military and Law Enforcement Body in the Organized States (established after the Organized States Army). Orginally titled as the OS Cutter Service, it went through multiple evolutions before officially becoming the OS Coast Guard in 1910. Responsible for the policing and regulation of all naviagable waterways in OS Territories along with Maritime Counter-Terrorism and Harbor Policing, the OSCG maintains a flexible and multirole organization. In addition to domestic responsibilites, the OSCG is also responsible for certain law enforcement responsibilities in Allied Nations, North American Union, and International Freedom Coalition missions internationally. The current Commandant is Admiral Franklin A. Woolson.
