Role Play Tutorial

Welcome to U R N Role Play! The goal of the role play is to let you do what you want to your country. Be diplomatic and peaceful? Or go to war and crush your enemies? Maybe a mix? This guide will help ease you into the U R N World. (This all takes place in the U R N RMB)

Starting Wars

Starting a war with an NPC Nation

NPC Nations are nations on the RP Map that are there to fill the space in the map. Go here to check which nations are NPCs.

Before declaring war on an NPC nation, you must find another player in the U R N to play for that NPC nation, this person will control that NPC's military during the war. Once someone is playing for that NPC nation, you may declare war and then launch into the war.

Starting a war with a Player Nation

Player nations are nations in the U R N who are also playing on the RP Map. Go here to check which nations are Player Controlled.

You can declare war on a Player whenever you want to, but make sure to follow the RP Rules, though.

After Declaring War

Once you declare war, you can move your troops into position to attack. Check out this post to see how to do this:

War has Commenced

Now that you have declared war and moved your troops into position, you have to wait for your enemy (or whoever is playing as your enemy NPC nation) to respond to your declaration. They can do anything from setting up defenses to attacking your troops before you can attack. Whatever they do, you can respond with your move as soon as they respond to your declaration. Then they respond to you and so on and so forth.

This is an example of a war between Kradland and the Inuit Empire, Paledonn is playing as the Inuit:

Battle For Nunavut

Ending the War

Once the war is nearly over, more than likely you or your foe will propose a Peace Treaty. In this peace treaty, anything from money or land can be transferred. There are no restrictions to how much money can go either way, but only 500,000 Square Miles or 804,672 Square Kilometers of land can be transferred either way per RP Rules. Check out this Treaty to see an example of a treaty that resulted in another war that took place in Central North America:

Treaty of Minnesota

Now your ready for that epic battle. Just follow these steps and you'll be as good as can be to start RP Battles.
Good Luck!

This does not apply to the Tamriel Map RP
