Keep this here to have a larger background block.
His Majesty’s Cabinet of the United Kingdom of Orange-Bourgonge, usually shortened to Cabinet, is the collective decision-making body of His Majesty’s Governance. Officially, Cabinet is but a Committee of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, an organ of the State that encompasses not only the executive branch, but also that of the judiciary and the legislative branch. Cabinet is the most powerful body within Orange-Bourgogne.
Members of the Cabinet are appointed by the Sovereign upon the nomination of the leader of the biggest party after a general election, or, if that person does not have an absolute majority, the person whose coalition does. Only rarely a Cabinet is formed that cannot rely on a majority in the Lower House of Parliament. Cabinet consists of senior and junior officials. Senior members are called “Secretaries of State” while junior members are “Ministers of the Crown”. The differences between senior and junior members are visible in the names of their respective Departments: Secretaries of State have a “Department for X”, while Crown Ministers have a “Department of X”. The Prime Minister is the leader of the Cabinet. Cabinet members can also sit in Parliament while they are in office.
The present Cabinet is made up of a coalition, as after the General Election no single party managed to command a simple majority in the Lower House. The parties that are part of the coalition are: Social Republican Front (SRF) and Vox Populi (VOX).

The Opposition consists of Shadow Secretaries of State and Shadow Ministers of the Crown. They are led by the “Shadow Prime Minister” commonly known as the Leader of the Opposition. By custom, the Opposition is a non-coalition body. This means that if there are five parties in Parliament two of which are in government, the largest of the remaining three parties may form the Opposition, therefore leaving out all other parties.
