The Name Origin

Jacobvillia, huh. Seems like some kind of country that was named after the user who created it. Even though that's (possibly) true, Here is the REAL reason it's called Jacobvillia.

The country was named after Russian Explorer Jacob Jacobi (1725-1809). He explored and discovered multiple of the main islands of the country. In 1746, He named the first settlement "Jacobville", And made himself the advisor of the colony. The land later grew in population, and suddenly towns were popping up all over the colony. The first plan was to name the colony "The Colony of Jacobville", but considering that town names couldn't be the official name for the colony, Jacob tweaked it to "The Colony of Jacobvillia".

Nowadays, the little town of Jacobville has suddenly become the economic hub of Jacobvillia, and was made the capital city after the independence from Spain in the mid to late 1700's. The city was renamed Jacob City in the early 1800s.
