Welcome to the next South Pacific Special Forces annual report where we will reveal the shocking truth about Roavin and his subversive atttempt what the SPSF has done during the past month with facts and alternative facts at the same time. Link to the statistical data for nerds is below.

Summary
Under the leadership of High Consta... I mean Minister of Military Affairs Yuno owl, during the past month, from 20 August to 17 September, the SPSF maintained its extraordinary activity level, with improved success rate and more embassies on our jump point Versailles Isle than ever! Along with some big liberations. Below is the analysis of this GCR subversive master-plan performed by Roavin and his cronies!!!!!!!!!!!!! things that you know shouldn't be analysed.

Activity
The SPSF kept one of the highest if not the highest activity level of all GCR militaries. We got 583 successful operations this month, a figure 111% higher than last month. USoVietnam, Escade, and Roavin, are the most active members at respectively at 17, 16 and another 16 update count. Yuno, Nakari and Violet, scored respectively at 14, 11, 9. Our update counts of people were lower than last month but there were more people who presented at updates.

Operations
We have 38 updates whose objective is defending and 15 updates with raiding as the objective. The author of this article continued to maintain the "Defender-leaning Indepedent" status of the SPSF. This ideological leaning, more or less, is just to distract the oppressed people of the South Pacific about the near-fully take-over of the used-to-be-democratic South Pacific by the defenders.

Tagging
During the past month, we pulled out over 261 blitz on regions that just existed with literally no purpose at all other than for tagging. Of course, with great help from The Grey Wardens's "favorite child": LILY as well as our most dedicated member when it comes to tag raiding: Yuno. On average, we had 28 hits and 14 fails per tag run, with a 67% success rate, 6% higher than last month. We hit the 200 embassies level on our jump point Versailles Isle a few days before this report is published. Hope we will soon reach 300 and more in the near-future. Look, there is even a masterpiece novel written for us about this.

Chasing
Over 221 regions were defended from the taggers of organizations like The Black Hawks, The Roman Empire, LILY, this figure is 115% higher than previous month. We scored on average 10 successful tag defenses and 8 fails with a 60% success rate per update. Thanks all of the darkspawns and dorkspawns for providing us the unique experience of being a digital Usain Bolt. Great thanks to LILY with their lightning-fast switching speed and the Black Hawks's updater count, especially on the update that they broke the tag record, left experienced defenders in the smoke.

Liberations
We did 11 liberations, mostly on small regions, against noob raiders. However, this month, we did two YUGE liberations.

The first one targeted at the Black Hawks and allies' raid on North Ammitica, a passworded region, on the end of August. With a force of 20 updaters which got called from just a 2 hours pre-notice and the cooperation of natives from the region, who gave us the password. We sneaky and squeaky moved into the region without any banjection due to careless raider delegate and managed to give the delegacy back to the native. The raid lasted just under 12 hours until the liberation attempt. Great props to all the nice natives in North Ammitica which gave many defenders hope in natives back after the disaster Ankh Mauta which was caused by natives' incompetency.

The second one happened just a few days ago from when this report is published. It was so large that the author of this report must delayed the report to include this. A force of 47 defenders from 9 different organizations and 9 natives which gave us a total of 56 endorsements, liberated the 48 endorsements raid of the North Pacific, Europeia and their allies on the region Japan, which coincidentally, lasted for just under 12 hours before got liberated like the previous one. The scale was big enough that this will be a major competitor for the "Liberation of the Year" and the region that it targeted had the 8th-highest WA endorsements level in NationStates due to so many people cross-endorsed. The raid was non-destructive so from the standpoint of the author, the liberation was a "for-fun-and-training" operation. Nevertheless, being able to pull out a liberation of that size signaled that defenderdom hasn't in their hibernation status. At least for now. (More details about the liberation but be aware of subconscious-level propaganda for TSP's subversive attempt)

"Knock knock, this is the South Pacific. With huge boats. And guns. Gunboats!
Open the region, stop having it be closed."

Detags
About 81 detags were performed to clean regions after they were tagged. Most of them were due to the fact the organization we work with: LILY does detags often when we did tag runs. Some were executed just for literally no reason other than boredness. During major update on 29, August 2017, we did a medium-size detag run with 12 The Black Hawks-tagged regions, because there was nothing for us to do at the time, and the detag commander was testing his region finding script.

Occupation raids
There was no occupation raid performed in last month other than the The International Kingdom raid with The North Pacific, Europeia and other regions which extended into the period of this report. However, a stealth occupation raid was in the move when this report was written. Of course, we can't reveal more information as the operation hasn't ended yet.

About our involvement in Lazarus
Siege attempts were performed as planned during the past month. However, the count was a lot lower than last month. Mostly due to the fact that the Lazarene Resistance force gained no interest and help from other factions as well as the endorsement gap in Lazarus was too large for any feasible military operation to bring back any result. All military attempts were mostly for training and retaining our reliability as an ally. The attempts however, gave rise to some conspiracy theories about The South Pacific and defenders in general which is discussed more below.

It is unclear about the future of the Resistance and our involvement in the matter. But the answer will come pretty soon or it won't come at all. In summary, our situation with Lazarus is in negative light.

The percentages of successful operations based on types are in the pie chart below. As you can see, tag raids and tag defenses were still the most common.

Fastbois and fastgirls section.
A big thanks and gloat about our fastbois and girls.

Chase speed
Chasing, the very hard to master technique to stop tag raiders, was mastered by the following individuals. Roavin, W&S and Serres were two fastest chasers, at an average speed of 2s and maximum speed of 1s. The author of this report gives the assumption that Serres's relative location to NationStates's server and Roavin's faster Internet or just better attention and reflexes helped them achieved this. The second position belong to our queen Yuno, pretend-to-be-queen USoVietnam, Violet, and naughty pro-Roavin propagandist Nakari at an average of 3s and a maximum of 2s. Belong to the third position is Escade and our general Resentine with the average of 4s and maximum of 1s for Resentine and 2s for Escade.

Move+endorse speed
When big raids happen and an endorsement from every liberator on the native is needed for success, the following members were excellent at the job. Roavin held the fastest move+endorse speed at 2s. Nineteen Lights and Escade belong to the second positions with an average of 3s. USoVietnam scored 4s and belong to the third position. Most move+endorse speed were sampled in sieges on Lazarus and the big liberations on North Ammitica and Japan which truly required a fast move+endorse speed due to the threat from the enemy's ban hammer which made the triggers very short.

Chase+endorse speed
Chase and endorse is the necessary skill to stop big raids, which is gained from regular chasing on tag raiders. In this month, there isn't any big raid except for The Black Hawks's raid on North Ammitica (which was unfortunately passworded and we had no idea about the password until the liberation happened) for this skill to be utilized, so we unfortunately don't have any data on this.

Hope all of the SPSF's members above and not above continue to maintain and improve their speediness and flexibility in one of the hardest area of military gameplay. All of you are awesome and give a big kudo to all of you.

Members
A telegram bombing campaign which happened during the past month brought us several new members but like usual, very few can make it far. One of our best new member was Neu hundland, who made it through all of the basic military training course including jumping, tagging, detagging, and chasing in the span of 2 weeks, and scored us 24 tag raids in an update, which was excellent as a newcomer. Our soldier Violet got promoted to the rank of Officer after just 2 months in the SPSF, due to her skill and dedication in leading operations. The promotion was received positively with big congratulations from experienced players like Roavin and Tim. The author of this report wants to give a congratulation too, sorry for been too lazy at posting the congratulation :p. Hope you will be happy with your new rank and ruthless abuses from subordinates and superordinates.

Promotional Statement from the General Corps:

For her service to the South Pacific Special Forces, both in and out of combat,

For her readiness and swiftness at update, and her service in long term operations,

For her display of tactical prowess and command ability, and her leadership during several recent operations, even against great odds,

By the powers vested in me as General of the SPSF, and the reccomendation of the Minister of Military Affairs, I hereby promote Violet to the rank of Officer.

Congratulations. May the Coalition continue to look brightly upon you.

Military-related foreign affairs
Normal and well relationships were continued to be maintained with the familiar organizations that we are friend with. At 39 updates, The Order of the Grey Wardens continued to lead the table of most-work-with organization, because SPSF is a defender-leaning organization and cross-memberships between SPSF and TGW were common, more proof that this is a subversive attempt lead by Roavin and his minions. Spiritus Defense Force, The Rejected Realms Army and Department of Wrath have an update count of 15, which placed them at the second position on the rank. LILY belongs to the third position at 9 updates. Along from the above regions, we have also worked with Lazarus Celestial Armada (Mostly on their Lazarus siege attempts), Renegade Islands Alliance Special Forces, FORGE, 10000 Islands Treaty Organization,...

Lily and us
Our jump point Versailles Isle, from a casual jump point of a casual GCR military, now have more tag raid embassies than most raider groups currently. The number was 200+ when this report was written. This made the SPSF surpassed The Roman Empire, one of the most prominent raider force, in term of embassy count. The number will likely surpass 300 soon, with the biggest evidence for this projection is the fact that at the time this report was written, 69 more embassy constructions were commenced. We have become the GCR's jump point with the most embassies in NationStates. Something so proud to look at for a military gameplay group.

All of this were possible thank to LILY, especially its leader Liliarchy, for their dedication with tag raiding and working with the SPSF. It is hard to find organizations with this level of commitments these days. Big props to all of you. We will definitely continue to abuse work with LILY in the near future.

On the flip side, the past month was eventful when it comes to controversial and generally negative foreign affairs incidents. Worsen relations that dragged for years but reached its climax in the last month between us and Europeia led to the attempt to dissolute of the treaty between the two regions. According to the statement from Europeia's president Writinglegend, the main reason was the little to no cooperation about various affairs including military between us and them. Europeia's president cited the ever-increasing distance between us and their ideology as one of the main reasons that led to the reduced cooperation.

"The South Pacific has continued to distance itself from independence, even denouncing it and working with those who seek to destroy it, and have moved towards a defender ideology. On the battlefield, we find ourselves on opposite sides of conflict more often than on the same side. Outside of the battlefield, our incompatible interests and values has led to little interaction."

Full statement

This may has a negative impact to the South Pacific in the sphere of independent R/D regions however, little to no impact was made in the traditional mainstream R/D sphere. It is up to the readers to think if this is justifiable.

In another very related news, various conspiracy theories about the South Pacific become some kind of puppets of defenders, especially The Grey Wardens popped up recently, and also about how the South Pacific worked Unibot to recruit liberators for the Lazarus's liberation attempts. While these theories have been denounced multiple times from the South Pacific's government and most of the gameplayers, some are still continuing to believe in such stories and trying to spread them. Again, it is up to the readers to think if these theories are true or pure falsehood.

To emphasize again, the above events made little to no impact about SPSF's operations in the near future, as well as its reputation, and reliability in the mainstream R/D sphere. However, more cooperation with our allies such as The North Pacific are to be expected in the future to keep the boat from sinking too deep.

Conclusion
The last month was phenomenal as usual for the SPSF on the military side. We're still HYPE all the way in. Still, the foreign affairs part was bumpy but the solution will come eventually. See you again in a month for more propaganda factual analysis and commentary. Oh I forgot, the subversive plan is fully operational.
