OSD/L#2/2017 - Transparency Act

Requiring legislation to increase transparency in the Senate of the region of the Coalition of Democratic Nations, the 6th Reformed Senate of the Coalition of the Democratic Nations passes the following provisions:

I. The Senate shall write reports on its activities, including passed legislation, discussion about legislation, opening and closing of foreign embassies, executive orders, etc., every two weeks.

II. The Senate will provide the information necessary to the writing of the Government Activity Reports (GARs) to the Senate of Interior until two days before the Report is to be published. If Senate passes any legislation in those two days, or does anything else that is to be added to the GAR, the GAR is to include those government actions.

III. The Senator of Interior is to draft the GAR in the two days prior to its publishing. During the drafting of the GAR, the Senator of Interior is to share those drafts with the rest of Senate, who shall provide feedback and pertinent information to the GAR.

IV. The Speaker of Senate is to sign the GAR. Only after the Speaker signs the GAR can the GAR be published.

V. The GAR is to be published by being posted on the RMB, this post being linked to in the WFE and is also to be posted on the Announcements channel of the Discord server.

VI. If by any reason the Senator of Interior cannot draft the GAR, any Senator may do so, with Senate oversight of this draft still applying.

VII. If by any reason the Speaker of Senate cannot sign the GAR until the deadline, the Delegate or Founder Account may do so.
