The Pangean-Alpiter War

Beginning when the Alpiter Empire abruptly withdrew from the confederal Pangea Oceanian alliance, the war commenced with the separatist states of Alpiter, Chromatina, and Lolololland launching a preemptive attack on Confederal forces. Utterly surprised, the Pangean Oceanic Confederation's forces weren't able to prevent the preemptive invasion of Terrapangea, the wealthiest of the constituent nations. The Superpower Union's forces quickly took the city of Gebrechia securing the provincial capital and establishing logistics bases for the bombing of the Terrapangean mainland.
After a crushing naval defeat for the Superpower Union, the provinces of Vivicel, Fabretria, and Gubriterland were recovered from the Superpower Union. However, after eight years of grueling total war, the Confederation of Pangea Oceania and The Superpower Union dissolved into their constituent states and signed an uneasy peace, with the two nation's former constituents opting to form economic and military alliances with their former allies.
