CHAIN OF COMMAND Lt. Director, Active Division: Lt. Director, Diplomatic Division: Reserve Squadron Commander: Training Officer I: Training Officer II:
| WHAT WE DO The Augustin Alliance Joint Task Force, or JTF, is the military and diplomatic branch of the Alliance, with contributing nations from all four member regions. It is headed by the Director, followed by the appointed Lt. Directors. Unlike traditional raiding and defending organizations, the JTF is neutral (sometimes labeled "independent"). It serves to further the interests of Alliance member regions in foreign lands through the use of force and negotiation. It may raid or defend, conduct diplomacy missions, or assist developing regions, depending on the needs of the Alliance and the discretion of the command. The JTF is a gameplay organization, which means it is completely separate from roleplay. In other words, it is not affected by any nation's statistics, factbooks, or forum posts. Instead, military gameplay centers around regions, and is the closest thing to a war feature that NationStates offers players. For information, see this guide to military gameplay, or send a telegram to an officer.
For a list of operations the Joint Task Force has conducted in the past, please see this history page. | ENLIST TODAY Enlisting in the Active Division: 2. Use the command >jtf apply, then wait for the Command Staff to review your application and respond.
