The Silmad has a large and ever growing mining industry, with mines and quarries scattered throughout all regions of the nation. The most mined resource in the Silmad is coal, with almost half of all mines being coal mines, with the rest of the industry being divided between iron, metals, copper, lead, silver and gold.

The Silmad has heavily invested in it's public infrastructure, with trains running between all regions of the country at all times of the day, subways operating in all major cities and buses operating in all cities. While the roads of the Silmad are very well maintained, few people own personal vehicles, preferring instead to use public transport. The streets of the Syl are used mostly be pedestrians, bicyclists, buses and militias. It is common place to see militia vehicles, such as tanks and armored personnel carriers, being used to take people to and from work. 

The Silmad  has a high quality healthcare system, to which healthcare is free to all citizens of the Silmad. The Silmad also has an extremely high quality public education system, which is free through university, though is attending school is non-mandatory for all ages. The Silmad has a literacy rate of 99.8%, with most Silmad speaking at least one language besides Silmad.

The timber industry is great and well sucessedida in his works, receiving diverse conceptions of the county and acting of form as much public as private. There are several management techniques to obtain expected results. Due to the inhabitants' own way of thinking there is an environmental conservation and an absurd technological advance in this area.

The EoS has developed technology somewhat independently of the rest the world, using it's own computer and phone systems, as well as hosting it's own Internet, which is indirectly linked to the world wide web. The people of Silmad are however, not very techy. While most people do have computers, few have mobile phones, and those that do tend to have models that do not support texting, apps or internet, simply old fashioned cellphones. In other technological terms, the EoS is advancing somewhat steadily, with the recent foundation of it's Aerospace forces and deployment of satellites, the EoS is beginning to re-enter space, a program which was lost with the fall of the Monarchy.
