Government-Federal Post agreement

Upon Actias entry into the government as Deputy Culture Minister, we recognise that this will bring about a conflict of interest between an independent newspaper and its leader, who is to join the government.

This agreement is an attempt to make the government of Thaecia and the Federal Post`s relationship and expectations as transparent as possible for the general public to combat bias.

Both parties agree that:
-The Federal Post is to be considered a joint-owned organisation by Actias and the Executive branch of the Thaecian government, with Actias running and maintaining the organisation.

-The Federal Post`s staff are not allowed to serve in a ministerial or deputy ministerial office.

-Articles related to the Thaecian government are to written by staff who have no connection to the Executive branch.

-Articles related to Thaecian Foreign Affairs are not representative of the Thaecian Foreign Affairs Ministry`s stance on the matter in question unless specified otherwise by Foreign Affairs Minister The Bigtopia or Prime Minister Korsinia

-The Thaecian Executive branch will reserve the right to get a section dedicated to public announcement shall it request it through the Federal Post.

-The Federal Post will be entitled to get a category dedicated to it in the Administration server shall it so desire.

-The Federal Post and the Thaecian Executive branch shall be obligated to make this agreement transparent and accessible to the public.

-This agreement will be rendered null and void upon Actias departure from the government or when the term has ended and a general election is hosted.

-Actias is entitled to full authority and ownership of the Federal Post once the agreement has been rendered null and void.

-this agreement is to be considered legally binding for both parties and if either party is found to violate the agreement they may be sued.

-Potential government influence over the Federal Post such as:
Demanding/pressuring to get an article that is not a public announcement,
Demanding/pressuring the organisation to remove an article,
Bribing the organisation,
Threatening the organisation.
Is to be considered a violation of the agreement.

-Potential Federal Post influence over the government such as:
Threatening officials to smear their reputation,
Boosting officials`reputation in exchange for information,
Leaking personal secrets or doxxing officials,
Intentionally faking government-related information or refusal to correct government-related information in an attempt to make the government look bad or good.
Is to be considered a violation of the agreement.
