Storyline 1: The main storyline, involving Azalea and her closest family and friends as they go on diplomatic meetings and survive antics.
Storyline 1.5: Keaton and Chloe support each other in their careers and develop feelings. This is called Storyline 1.5 because sometimes they will be intertwined with Storyline 1 characters due to Keaton and Azalea being siblings.
Storyline 2: Benji is a hardcore patriot, but now struggles as Columbia goes down a darker path. At the same time, Daphne is growing up and getting more spoiled, and may not go down the best path.
Storyline 3: Ava is a young orphan, learning to adjust to a new country while always having something to say.
Storyline 4: The Mitchells are a happy family of five, with three daughters that struggle with growing up and staying out of trouble.
Storyline 5: Stacy and her family try to survive in exile with new identities. Scott ponders on if he should stay with Stacy, and Stephen and Sam are conflicted on their new lives

She has matured significantly, as she used to be a temperamental little girl, but is now a sophisticated and strong young lady. After studying communications in college and graduating, Chloe now goes around the world, advocating for rights and writing articles in her newspaper, Chloe’s Corner. She is not afraid to write things that are controversial, as she wants to do what she believes is right, only being silenced when her friends lives were on the line.

Bio: Benjamin, also known as Benji, was originally a Gold Miner. He had abusive parents. His parents were exposed, and he got adopted by Columbians Mary Calvert and Theo Stewart. Benji is brave, outgoing, and tough. It doesn’t take much for him to get irritated. However, he has a soft side which is rarely shown. This was evident when Benji adopted Daphne from his former orphanage. He is in the Columbian military and is incredibly patriotic for his country. He is also married to his childhood friend Emmi.

Like Benji, Daphne was abused in her past, but she is slowly improving mentally. Now, she has moved past her abuse, and if anything, she is on the spoiled side.

He also enjoys the little things in life, like a fresh breeze or the chirping of a new species of birds. He writes books on nature and relaxation, and an occasional mystery.

Naomi regrets any pressure she may have put on Lillina to be a doctor and marry another doctor, so to cope, she encourages Orion to follow his dreams.

She has a tendency to drink alcohol and do outrageous impulsive actions. She also will make sure appears as perfect to the public, even if she has to resort to shady connections. However, as her reputation has gone downhill, she has resorted to threats to those who have opposed her. That has brought her into deep trouble, eventually leading to her downfall. She is now in exile with her family forcing them to take a new identiy along with themselves.
