It is the main airport serving the main Deerfenese municipality city and was named after the state's first President, Kato Nami. The airport is approximately 5 miles west of Kampala and has six terminals. One for Air Canada, Westjet, Aer Lingus, Finnair, and LATAM. One for British Airways, Air France, Swiss Air, American Airlines, and Japan Airlines. One directly for Africa and Africa alone. One for Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Delta, Alaska Airlines, Icelandair, Aero Mexico, Korean Air, and Saudia. One for Alitalia, Czech Airlines, Air Toshavo, China Eastern, Aerolíneas Argentinas, and KLM. The last terminal is for all of Star Alliance. It serves Interregional and International flights in the same international terminal, and domestic in one.
