It is now the 1st of December, 2020, I present publicly, The new national flag of Menorica that will be finalized and official on the 1st of January, 2020.

Unveiling Of The New Menorican National Flag And Menorican Royal Standard

This flag will be the successor to the current civil flag of Menorica on the 1st of January, 2021, And will not be raised as the island nation's National Flag until at exact 12:00 AM. This flag is common to some countries, Such as Canada, the United States, France, Peru, and even Mongolia. It features 2 red tribands, 2 yellow stripes, A blue background source, Menorica's coat of arms, And 12 yellow Patriot Stars. The occasional union flag was removed but then re-added as a smaller additon from the nation's Coat of Arms. The yellow symbolizes the current Flag of Menorica which is currently in use until the 1st of January, next month.

The royal standard, Only raised and flown from when times a King (His Majesty King William V (Romeshire2) or a Queen, A Consort, or any other member of The Royal Family would come to visit, Or a royal event or holiday has been commenced, was also re-created. The new royal standard features the banners of England and Scotland, with colours below displaying Red White And Blue, A royal cypher displaying a yellow crown and yellow "W" meaning King William V, Tropical Flowers below the royal cypher to further represent Menorica's culture, 2 crowns representing Menorica as a Constitutional Monarchy, And Red And White Stripes which is reversed colours of the National Flag of the Island of Minorca, Menorica's real life paradise. The new royal standard will not be finalized and official until the 1st of January, 2021 at exactly 12:00 AM as well as the same time of the new official and confirmed National Flag of Menorica.

BREAKING NEWS . . .

There are unconfirmed reports this evening of an exchange of gunfire between the rival naval forces of Piadosa and Menorica. Video footage which began appearing online several hours ago purportedly shows naval forces engaging one another several miles off the northern coast of the disputed Hanover Islands. Both nations claim sovereignty over the bitterly disputed territory, which has been a point of contention between the two states for several decades.

I have just been told that i will no longer be serving in the lords as abstaining on votes is no longer considered legitimate and is considered "non participation" even though i do comment on bills and such. This action i am told was taken by the monarch on advise of the lady speaker who did not personally like my stance and so advised the monarch as such. As a lord i had as much right to abstain and simply comment as any other lord had to right to vote. This is especially true given the republican leanings of my party. (IRL Sein fein has not even attended Parliament since the turn of the 20th century due to their political leanings). I could have easily of assisted the Lady Speaker as a deputy given that i was remaining neutral on all issues. But as it stands I am now no longer a lord. I will continue to campaign, perhaps even more fervently now for Welsh republicanism within the region I hope I can once again serve in the commons someday, but only time will tell. I wish you all the best for the Holiday season.

Nations of the Empire of Great Britain,
On the Forum I, as King, have issued a Press Release dated 10.12.2020 for immediate release. In that, I detailed the appointment of a First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff. Whom, per the recently passed Royal Navy Act (2020), shall serve as the Operational and Day-to-Day head of the Navy, while the Crown retains the position of Commander-in-Chief.

I have also appointed a new WA delegate, whom was recently confirmed by the House of Lords. It is encouraged that all WA nations in the region Endorse Piadosa. After a few brief discussions, I have the utmost confident that the new Delegate can help breathe new life into an oft-ignored section of UCRs.

All this information and much much more can be found on the Forum and/or our Discord. I highly encourage any person in the region to join both of those aspects of the region. As it can deepen your enjoyment and experience in the region.
