“As soon as we arrive the speaker will call Sansad to quorate. Then, we’ll begin. So begin mentally preparing yourself.” The carriage stopped at the building, the footman opening the carriage door. This allowed Saffron to exit first. Zed after her. He stepped out and looked around. Thousands of people were crowding the streets around parliament. Waiting anxiously. The bells atop the building were ringing. Humans, creach, meastcha, and fatimazda dressed in black or gray suits with frock coats, vests, top hats, and dressy boots were entering the building.

Rei'Bull thought on that, "Must have been an ambush. Fornt can survive such things, he's tough. But the rest of us ain't as lucky as he is. Cyboar kills people like us very easily, or worse. Anyways, help us out here. We need to move all this stuff out of here and into our ship before Cyboar sends forces here. These supplies are vital."

Saffron did as advised, mentally hyping herself up for the Sansad meeting with what time was left in the ride. Regardless, she walked along the route for her, simply focused on her ideas of things to say. And thus for the most part ignored the crowds, simply headed for the building.

The Ebony Republic wrote:92 would likely disappear in a field of smoke and debris, as well as other amounts of munitions fire. Seeing as how its normal form wasn't sufficient, it opted to shift as its armor began to meld, before seemingly melting towards the ground, leaving a figure in a black robe as a scythe materialized in their hand. As soon as it entered the Material realm, the scythe exuded a truly horrifying aura of pure malevolence and an unending hunger, the hunger of a Nephilim's weapon. Nephilim were an extrordinarily rare sect of extraplanar creatures that ate, and got the strengths and memories of their victims to a certain degree.

92 tossed the scythe into the air, the blade suddenly spinning downwards like lightning towards the OMNI commander, releasing a dark cloud of energy over the area as it did so, the scythe aiming to suck in the Revenant's energy as it flew towards the commander in an action to decapitate him, before moving to follow the gunships if they came back.

Alaine huffed and dismissed the imp, before she moved back to the summoning circle, conjuring forth one last outsider, a Pit Fiend. Bestial, scaled humanoids twice the height of any human being with a pair of wings that it can wrap around its body. As venom drips from their fangs, fire wreathes the pit fiend's entire body. When mortals think of devils, the pit fiends are the creatures that are brought to mind. These creatures appear to be large humanoids with brilliant red skin. Their heads are adorned with massive horns while their bodies are cloaked in a pair of bat-like wings. A long, prehensile tail snakes from their backside. The mouth of a pit fiend is filled with sharpened fangs whose bite carries both a terrible poison and a virulent disease. A pit fiend stands over 12 feet tall and weighs 800 pounds.

92's reaction was immediate as it left the scythe to deal with anything Omni near it, moving to the pit fiend's position, as its mouth opened impossibly wide, snapping its upper body clean off as unholy energy surged into its form, wreathing in it the pit fiend's fire and venom as it did so. Omnipo had angered a master conjuror's eidolon.

Effie nodded. "Planetary invasion, usual stuff." She said with a shrug. "I have this frequency in my head. If we can use it to contact for help, we might be able to get the farmers out. Show me to it."

------------------------

The Grand Vizier shrugged. "The title of Grand Vizier is an important one to some. In reality, we serve as the Nadri Queen's hands and agents. One is selected as soon as one dies, so strong is the hivemind's connection, even across vast distances, our deaths can be felt as shudders as the network adjusts. The Queen deemed this mission of the utmost importance." The Grand Vizier remarked, before he began to infuse the ship with psionic energy, careful to not bother the Psion with it in an attempt to force the ship with a surge of power. The other Nadri did the same, essentially acting as living batteries to give the ship enough excess power to take off and into atmosphere.

Eiko moved to help the Watrike, as did the Strom Commandos to take off. "Once they run out of energy, they'll die. We only have a limited amount of time to use this, Dequir."

-------------------------

The Ranger seemed amused. "Chosen. The word comes because they believe they are chosen by the Goddess of the Vok, the Shadow Queen. It's said she knows what will happen to one of her Chosen, at all times, anywhere in the universe, for she watches all shadows." The Vok decided to demonstrate her chosen ability, blasting the augmented's grip with a blast equivalent to lightning in an angry attempt to get him to bugger off.

The OMNI Commander responded calmly to this disturbance, his rather intense discipline holding despite the situation's very much negative development. He simply leaped off the rooftop that had sheltered him to dodge the scythe, and then entering into a charge towards 92, moving rather fast for somebody in power armor, with power sword and shield prepared. Meanwhile, 92 had made a rather major mistake in attempting to siphon the Revenant's energy. The creature was a failed copy of a Psion, but had one of their abilities, and so happily allowed their energy to be absorbed with one tinge to it. The Revenant used one of its powers to "poison" the energy, so to say. It would in this way rob 92 of strength, and if he absorbed too much he would find that the Revenant's energy would start to infect his own, with the creature eating away at the Nephilim. For, as one may wish to try, the Psions had long since become creatures that were masters of stealing memories, and had developed counters to somebody trying it on them in return, and the same applied to their souls. The Revenants were not as strong as their ancestors, but they retained this deadly trick, although in practical terms it would simply act to weaken 92. But that is where the OMNI Commander was trying to exploit this and strike 92 while the Nephilim dealt with .

Meanwhile, the Pit Fiend got attention from the rest of the Omnipo forces, who didn't like the large demonic creature. They already had 92 and Chail the Dragon to deal with, so the Pit Fiend was not a welcome sight. To remedy this, fire was focused upon it by what remained of Omnipo's troops, which at this point was mostly support teams like mortars and snipers.

Tarla didn't seem as casual as Effie was, "I'm afraid on Proscore a planetary invasion is in fact not usual. I would say it's pretty unexpected! Still, the emergency radio is right inside." The farmgirl showed Effie into her home, which was a rather humble abode. It was a simple three room, one story farmhouse. A kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The radio was kept in the living room, sitting upon a table.

The Watrike moved to go back up to the bridge in order to start getting the thing to work. After all, they understood the language, and instructed the Storm Commandos as well as Eiko in how to get the ship off the ground. They were obviously low on crew to manage this ship, but the Nadri had given the ship enough power to start moving, the engines charging to sufficient levels. If everyone followed instructions and worked hard enough to take up multiple roles for the takeoff, they would find the ship actually getting off the ground and slowly ascending. Lord Dequir meanwhile stayed in the Psion chamber with the Nadri, deciding to use his skills to help keep the Nadri alive and keep the Psion from waking up. After all, if he woke, they were effectively doomed all the same.

---

The Lightning Strike did hit the Augmented, who simply seemed to tank it, but in reality the power was coursing through his body after being absorbed. The Augmented's free hand pointed at the Vok's chest, and soon after the lightning blast would blast out from the finger into the Vok. One of the Augmented's many specialized implants, "Fascinating, fascinating. This Goddess will have to be subjugated in that case, but this shall be a fine start for study." The Cyborg was not joking, his tone was completely serious. More like adding something to a grocery list, by how casually it was said too.

Angelarium wrote:A minute earlier at the Temple of Gold

The twin colossal horns of gold glitter in the sunlight. The way they curl into the heavens above was breathtaking even to her. Like Aelius she too has a soft spot for magnificent craftsmanship. She was after all, Solgaleo. A prestigious title gifted among those of her kind who are gifted in alchemical nano-engineering. Ah it truly does feel like a eternity ago when she was bestow with that honor. Before that she was simply but a mere lord governing over region of the Zeidaen Supercluster. She found herself faintly smiling in reminiscent, strolling across the roof plaza to check out another part of the temple museum. The place was mostly crowded but she been in far cramped places. Small alien children run by her in bliss and couple enjoying the view of the vast plains that surround the temple. Her chest became warm with a pleasant emotion, joyful that such peaceful scenes is finally here on Angelarium. Peace was all so fleeting in such a chaotic universe or universes for that matter, and she long came to appreciate every peaceful moment. Because subconsciously she knew it won't last forever.

Just as the sound of children laughter will never laugh.

A rush of cold flush down her spine.

The world became silent to her.

The patrons moving to a crawl.

Her brain running many times it normal speed to react to the intuition of danger.

'But what?'

She twist her body, getting the chilling sensation from behind. Her green eyes widen in shock as she sees a object shooting down between the brilliant golden horns. The slender, cylinder object streak towards the plaza she was on. She tried to move her arms but she was too slow, having not been expecting something to happen. A foolish mistake in hindsight, a mistake that will soon cost countless lives.

Because the slender, cylinder object was a nuclear warhead.

Solgaleo world was thrown into deafening whiteness. She felt her body flung into the hair for seemly a eternity as the blastwave sent her flying. Heat and dust whip across her face in such a manner if it weren't for her Daia Ewaircaaid or her Apotheon blood she would've been vaporized by the blast at point blank range. The world continue to spun around her as she found herself rolling harshly against the ground before coming to a stop on her back. Opening her eyes she began hacking up blood, he lungs burning up from the radiation around her. Grunting her body took a second to adapt to the change in air quality, with her muscles feeling like they bare being baked by invisible fire she manage to stand up. Her vision clearing up enough for her to see the immense mushroom cloud rising above. Despite the fact she was blown at least ten kilometers away the cloud was huge, at least fifty megatons.

Honour guard, Iammelon, and The Ebony Republic would feel a seismic shock wave equivalent to an earthquake of over 5.0 on the Richter Scale. Even though Solgaleo can't see through the cloud, it was safe to say the temple was obliterated. She simply blinks in numb shock, regardless of how much one is accustomed to it. Empathic creatures never take the loss of life well. Standing there she felt bits of shrapnel falling on her. Noticing something falling near her she extended a hand to catch it. Landing in her palm she could see that it was the charred remain of some Watrike skull, considering the size it was most likely a child. Solgaleo does not know who fired that nuke, but one was thing was certain.

"Thee shall payeth f'r this atrocity."

The Ebony Republic wrote:28th Legion: Nephilim Guard

The Nephilim Guard were a new type of Legionnaire, the Inevectus type. They possessed better strength, cunning and zeal than some of their brothers. They were also the smallest legion to be founded aside from the Imperial Guardians and White Scars. For the past few days, weeks, months they were setting up a Legion Base in the Mountains of Fundament, studying its ore's properties while also preserving the Wonder's natural beauty on Angelarium. The Legion, like most, was reclusive from public eye, leaving the seemingly mythical status to speculation to allies and enemies alike.

Thus when the Third Fleet arrived due to a nuclear launch and the earthquake put the entire Cairn garrison and the Legion on high alert. The Third Fleet consisted of a similar layout to the Fourth Fleet, and the planetary shield for Cairn activated, the energy barrier moving to contain the fallout as the garrisons clamped down on traffic in and out of the Cairn province, though it would not wait for answers. The Angels of Death did not tolerate such acts on their territory, which they considered the entire planet to be. A modified Jaguar IFV made its way to the site of nuclear detonation, while Alexandria's Imperial Fists garrison was reinforced by another company.

Tiamat and Rayla, along with other important individuals were suddenly accompanied by the watchful Imperial Guardians, who said and did nothing but watch and wait for possible assassins.

The massive nuclear blast that leveled the Golden Temple was, unsurprisingly, quickly noticed by the Excave forces on Angelarium. They moved with all haste to dispatch a number of response teams to the area. Not only to find out what the hell had happened, but to contain the damage as best they could, such as stopping the radiation from spreading. The Watrike of Excave were particularly incensed, as many of their kind were there, and that temple was dedicated to something very dear to them. This was taken as nothing less than a personal attack on the Trike, and so they were rather enthusiastic about moving in on the area.

To that effect, the first one to descend on Solgaleo's position was a squad of Watrike Psi-Operatives, who were surprised to find her alive. But they were immune to the radiation, thanks to their armor and powers. So when the leader encountered her, the female Psi-Operative looked her over, "Survivors, unexpected. Are you alone? Please provide information as to the cause of this incident if you can. In exchange we will provide medical aide as best we can, and get you out of this area. Do you understand?" The Watrike was somewhat worried Solgaleo may suffer from shock or the like, so they were being careful.

Meanwhile, the Nephilim Guard got a reaction from Excave as well, and they disagreed with the Guard on their idea of the entire planet being their stomping ground. Excave carried quite a bit for the sanctity of their borders, which meant they required a response as well. As such, the Angels in the area were descended upon by the Excave Response forces, including Excave Harbingers, Watrike Warriors, and proper Combat Drakes. They did not attack, of course, but the Commanding Combat Drake demanded their leader come out and explain why they were interfering with an ongoing investigation in a now-established no go area.

Taurgha wrote:Myrafiora while initially seemed to be expecting the kiss, she froze as it occured; just remained gazing in Zenos' eyes with adoration. For this really seemed like a dream to her; a handsome alien prince that even was similar to her own personality at a first glance ...perhaps the wheel of fortune decided to give her a chance amidst the revolutions and crownings.
She smirked as she noticed Zenos' extreme nervousness and caressed his cheek again "..I liked th-that much!". As soon as Zenos reminded her of their meeting however she felt extremely overwhelmed but stood up and took his hand, wishing that there would be just herself, Zenos and the Zantine Emperor over at the meeting..

Sadly for Myrafiora that was not the case at all; a cold breeze run through her spine as she noticed the multitude of all the red Ghashyroids and various other species in the room. All standing there in their fine clothes and judging eyes, just like in the saaryn galas back home. She was about to be sick, as her skin almost had turned pale. Nevertheless she could not back down now, she upheld that smile she had won back in the balcony and focused on the only person that mattered to her in that room ..her husband to be, Zenos.
The obviously shy Talmyr avoided making eye contact with most of the nobles and quickly sat next to the great Zantine monarch as she was supposed to do so, her only reaction was an extremelly forced smile as she tried to appear formal ..if only Haarti was here, or at least Nevihdor! She nodded as the emperor spoke and raised her glass; up until then her companions (of whom her personal guard also carried now her pupper, Willow) had been stern-looking and almost apathetic like watrike awaiting for orders ..though as their Talmyr raised her glass all raised theirs and shouted "Vhin ta Talmyr!" in unison.
Myrafiora stood there in silence panicking internally for she had to say something ..anything! She finally opened her mouth and with a rather timid voice she spoke "N-nice decorations ..v-very f-f-fitting colors! Heh!"
For a split second you could see her personal bodyguard rolling her eyes, craving for a facepalm.

Myrafiora could be assured that Zenos was just as nervous as she was, and similarly he was trying to handle it by focusing on more pleasant things than the pressure of the public; such as Myra herself. Though of course the Prince adjusted his seat to stay near Myrafiora, preferring to be near to her rather than any other noble. The Emperor and the many nobles thankfully simply clapped along, allowing Myra's less than inspiring words to get drowned out. The Emperor wished to save her from too much embarrassment, and with some gestures the speakers turned off. Everyone turned to their own things. Some groups of nobles began to speak and gossip among themselves about recent developments, others sang and danced, thanks to the drinks removing their greater worries for the time being. The Guards had to make sure they both looked intimidating while also keeping an eye out for any noble who started to drink too much, so they could spirited away from the party before they embarrassed either themselves or the royal family. This included a few guards giving the evil eye to any noble who seemed to be getting too close to either of the Imperial Heads, be it their own Zantine Emperor or the Talmyr. This encouraged everyone to stick to their own conversations for now, and with a subtle wave of the hands some the Rangian Vanguard's mages seemed to cast a little ball of sound proofing around the royal table.

With all of this set, Emperor Maximanius was content to lower his voice from his more boisterous announcement tone, and spoke to Myrafiora in a rather more measured and controlled voice, "I can tell that you and my son seem to be getting along well. Good. These political affairs don't always turn out so good. Now then, while everyone else celebrates, time to talk. Approval is already given, as I have granted mine and you are the Talmyr, so obviously I will grant that your word is more than enough. And of course Zenos will be going to Shyr. It would be improper otherwise. What does have to be worked out however are the requirements Zenos must fulfill, and arrangements for a few things that will be going with him. Such as his personal Rangian Vanguard detachment, who will be going with him. And if you have any concerns, now is the time. The same applies to you, son." The Prince shook his head. Zenos, for all his nervousness, had decided he was going through with this to the end. So his concerns were lacking, all that was left was whatever Myra needed to tell.

Angelarium wrote:"Mrrrw!? I love watching things in bed!" Heulyn exclaimed cheerfully as she seem to finally settle in beside the Anubite side. Curling under the blankets once more she practically embrace the Lady-Lord as if she was a body pillow. Her amber eyes set on Tarset face in a pup like manner. Awaiting to be entertained by her new buddy. Due to her lack of ego she won't notice the room faintly shaking three times before stopping.

Tarset allowed herself to be cuddled in such, and she took out her comm unit to play a video. It was actually a rather cartoony thing with an announcer talking loudly about the Suerankh family with animated imagery. This included a brief rundown of its major members, with Lady Tarset being the first one mentioned, but also her younger brother and mother. It then went through a cartoon recreation of the Aluxandri Grand Archives, the great center of information they were entrusted with. With its emphasis on entertainment, the cartoon included more humorous takes of some of the major exhibits, since the cartoon went on to animate the scenes that were preserved.

There were plenty of books all bearing various titles in the magnificent Sendhar Alphabet; Ah the Sendhar alphabet, a marvel of the Urvan mind! With its clear cut pointy triangle shapes and amazing little dots above some of them!
There also were some comic books with a trio of a winged ghashyr, a lion with a ghashyr face and a dragon, all three battling against zombies. The Sendhar letters seemed more fluid in that particular set, as if designed for more relaxed reading; Truly a sign of the wisdom of Ghashyr typographers.
As Terra was admiring Shyrite lettering, the parrot cawed loudly to announce someone else was in the room. Two old cyan eyes were now staring at the young princess; there she stood bearing breakfast, an aged and taller version of Van in a stitched green dress; obviously tired by a long life, but still bearing the pirate's unique and serene beauty "These books brought nothing but trouble ..I still wonder why I never got rid of them all these years. Apart from the comics of course, those are mine and totally respectful of the old ways." she smiled and let the plate she was holding over the messy desk "You slept for a whole day, so you need the calories. I just brought you some jalaor eggs and some fruits for now, but I can get you a cake later. I'm Cordhya, Alina's mother."
besides the two boiled eggs, the fruits in the plate looked fresh, though all of them being bright purple in the inside and smelling a bit like cheese.

As she spoke the filly run behind her, grabbing her hint leg tightly "Th-there miss... ..in the bush". Before Astra could actually see what the deal was about that bush, a dark blue-green magic bubble formed around her and separated her from the filly, elevating and dragging her on the other side of the bush.
A rather thin and tall female changeling was standing before her, with her two very real and tremendous fangs, entire holes in her pitch black rotting body and an extremelly annoyed expression in her face. The most eering aspect of her though was that her voice was that of Lemon's! "Miss Astra you have wasted my patience, I have been trying to apprehend you without alarming the good ponies of this village for a whole day now. Thankfully scaring the foals worked as I thought." she begun trotting casually away from the village with Astra still in her cosy little bubble "I am Princelly Agent Amata by the way, not a ditzy earth pony as you can see, and you are an intruder in our haven ...an extremelly peculiar intruder that our Princess will most certainly have much to talk with!"
She suddenly turned around making a squee while looking at Astra with a sweet and almost apologetic expression "But after all that is over can we still be friends? We seemed to have fun together and I'm also rather hungry.."

Scarlet eyes bore down on the poor worker, glowing with the fury of an empress whose breast had been touched (and a bit of magic). "I am shocked, shocked that such a servant of this fine nation had the gall to touch my breast in such a manner," she said in a terse voice, the edge of annoyance leaking in. All the while, she was subtly moving past the checkpoint, hoping that the intimidation could just get her past.
====
Terra, being originally a pony and a bit of a sweets addict, immediately went for the fruit, wanting to taste it. "Hi Cordyna, I'm Terra," she said between bites, "So you're Van's mom?" She certainly could see the family resemblance, and why her mom initially fell for Miss Alina. "And can I have the cake before the eggs?"
====
To what would likely be the surprise of the changeling, Astra was... quite nonplussed about the whole being captured thing. "Well buck, what gave it away? I know y'all inquisity types would have come looking for me anyway, with me being the whole 'pony from outer space' thing," said Astra, who very much was getting exactly the thing she wanted ever since yesterday. "And as an officer of the Imperial Armed Forces, I am very much legally obliged to say nothing that compromises Imperial security," she states in a totally serious and military tone, before breaking down into very friendly chatter, "But that ain't stopping me with making friends with you, Le- Amata. Your kind may have given us a bit of trouble a decade or two ago, but I'm pretty sure you ain't one of those traitorous Reduviiae lovesuckers."

She was silent for a bit, before asking, "Can I still have the Nightmare Night candy though? You have no idea how boring spacer rations are."

Her lungs still burn as she trek across the now glassed plain. The sound of movement in the air drew her attention to the squad of Watrikes. Given they are not shooting at her she has the intuition that they are not a threat. "Aye, yond I am." The comforting presence of over a thousand souls that once surrounded her were snuff out as they were nothing more than a candle flame. Her green eyes reflect seething indignation. "Hrm, information in exchange f'r medical aid " Solgaleo then noted, critical but not willing to raise a fist. They are not the source of her ire. While her racial quirks and mysticism can tend to her wounds just fine it was more efficient if she were to cooperate. "I wast on the topmost plaza at which hour i saw the missile flying down. By the time I notice it I wast too slow to react. Got knocked back hard, haven't been struck like yond f'r aeons." She recall to the Watrike, noting the design details on the missile since she can't say whose was it.

Heulyn was clearly enjoying the cutesy animation. Even in her halycon state of mind she could understand the scale of importance that the cartoon shows. Deep, deep within her fractured psyche she also sympathize with the Anubite. To be entrusted with something as grand as this, to hold the font of all history is not a easy fate. While her close friend Albrecht has a closer link to the Throne of Heroes than she does, she is still a Master who has sworn to safeguard all of Amziel history forevermore. Together they mended singularities and learn of history long forgotten to proper Amziel society. "It must feel heavy." She spoke out in a bout of odd clarity while her eyes still glimmer in innocence. It was not a question but more so as a statement, that in some unknown manner Heulyn could relate to the Noble. For reasons Tarset does not know yet.

Iammelon wrote:The Psion was surprised that Aurea was actually seeming to want to be closer to it, and it got quite interested in the scroll she was holding. Squinting its eyes, it tried to get a good look at the savior scroll while the Aztecha employee was hurtling towards it, "A piece of paper? That's how you intend to survive? Hahaha! The interloper sees themselves as a mage! Come then, o studious one! Let's see what you can do with some paper and desperation!" And so the Psion simply continued to pull, reaching out its other hand to grab Aurea as she got into reach, since of course he intended to grapple her and consume the memories, even if he was quite interested in what the scroll would do. But importantly he didn't prepare any defenses, as the arrogance of the Psion caused him to disregard the potential danger, confident in his ability to simply deflect whatever came.

"BY LADY MONTEZURIA'S GRACE and hopeful forgiveness of the whole collateral damage, I INVOKE THIS CONTRACT!"

The air between the massive psion glowed with several intricate magical circles, all aimed at center mass of the massive Psionic ghost.

FIRE! GREAT MORTAR EVA!"

An ethereal barrel of some monstrously large cannon seemed to form, and before the psion had a chance to react, fired a massive magical bolt at the spirit. Unfortunately for the poor caster, such massive magic in very unoptimal conditions had a cost.

Mainly the recoil launching the poor almost-certainly-not-an-innocent-intern out of the psion's grip and sailing right into the ruins of a building behind her.

"Yeah i mean sure she said that but i dont think she really means it, you know what im saying?" It seems to be break time in the mess hall of a Hoein-Class Light Defense Vessel. The captain's seatmates would look to the far side of the mess hall to look at a girl. "Captain with all due respect, she's definitely into you. Us women dont lie you know? "Its kinda weird how the directors consider this a Cruiser.". "Its a monitor to be exact, we have disproportionately large guns on a small dinky ship." The OXO would reply. "Fair point."

A Transmission straight from the Fallbring station would seep through his mini-cockpit controls. "Captain Baldr, Please be advised to start patrolling the southern quadrant in 400 mikes." Upper brass orders, working for the man it seems. "Copy that, Commander." Patrolling aint so bad so they just have to wait for something to happen.

Saffron did as advised, mentally hyping herself up for the Sansad meeting with what time was left in the ride. Regardless, she walked along the route for her, simply focused on her ideas of things to say. And thus for the most part ignored the crowds, simply headed for the building.

Jack grunted and helped load up the supplies. He’d get answers later. For now, he needed to get the hell out of here. “So, what kinda supplies we packing?”

-

Police had the building surrounded, keeping everyone at bay. Inside the grand and elaborate halls Saffron stood in a few days prior, she say ministers all conversing, some eyeing Wettle, some eyeing her, but George didn’t stop. He pressed right on for the meeting chamber. Behind wooden doors with glass panels, Saffron saw the... massive meeting hall. The concentric rows of seating going all the way up. The peaked roof. The chandelier hanging over the center of the floor. The one table in the center of the room piled high with legal books and other government books. The desks of all the ministers going all the way up. The two rows of benches on the ground floor. There was an older Fatimazda standing in the room, she wore a long black robe and her hair was styled into what Saffron could only tell was the Judge’s Hair Style. Something humans would need wigs to replicate. The Fatimazda bowed her head slightly to George.
“Well met, Minister She said.
“And to you, Madam Speaker. Can we signal to convene?”
“I only awaited your order, minister.” She turned to a nearby human. “Ring the bell.” The human ran off, disappearing into a service door disguised as a wall panel. Wettle ushered for Saffron to follow him as he stood by the table in the center of the room. The speaker headed for a large elevated chair opposite the doors they had entered in and took her seat with an “oumph” A distant bell rang and soon the frock coats and formal dresses filled the room. While the men, regardless of species all wore frock coats, vests, pocket watches, shirts with wing tipped, stiff, and piccadill collars with ties or cravats, and some sort of ankle boot, the women wore rather elegant dresses that were slim and very form fitting on the top half, then seemed to taper in before flaring out again at the waist. All women had long sleeved dresses that covered their shoulders and came to a collar. With the skirt reaching down to their ankles. The women wore black or navy dresses. They wore modest amounts of jewelry. Rings, necklaces, earrings, nothing flashy. The creach women were... different. They wore waist coats, vests, piccadill collared shirts with collar pins, ties, and red or green tartan kilts. Saffron could easily identify the one from the party... Ava! Ava Caimlaich. She wore a black suit top, blue tie, red kilt, tall white socks, black boots, a sporran, and a fly plaid. She walked rather briskly to the front of the room, and sat near Wettle. She looked at Saffron.
“Couldn't keep Omni bastards in check for long, eh?” She chuckled as she removed a large pipe from her sporran and stamping the tobacco inside.

As Laura would look around the area she couldn't help but feel regret for what she had done, up until now the use of Chemical Warfare was always considered as a "Necessary Evil" in her eyes and in the eyes of others, however seeing the effects in person for the first time, made her feel..

Iammelon wrote:The OMNI Commander responded calmly to this disturbance, his rather intense discipline holding despite the situation's very much negative development.

Nephilim ate and ate, such was their curse and power. While 92 had devoured the Pit Fiend to force the Revenant's parasitic taste down, it turned to the OMNI commander briefly, appearing somewhat disoriented. In truth this was a worse situation, for a disoriented and wounded animal is often more dangerous that one who is healthy. The scythe returned to the Nephilim's hand, as 92 simply moved to tap the OMNI Commander's body equipment with it. Assuming the scythe connected with a blocking manuever, the Scythe seemed to pulse briefly, releasing a simple 'whoomp' of energy in order to cause his equipment to degrade rapidly, like an advanced Curse of Rust.

Effie looked at the radio, speaking into an unknown frequency that Excave could likely monitor, though it seemed to be only phrases: "The sun is setting." was met with a distorted series of morse replies, that eventually made up: "The moon shall rise. Expect one arrival."

Eiko and the Storm Commandos went into full efficiency mode. The Storm Commandos could move far quicker than normal humans thanks to their armor, and their precisely trained and honed minds gave them an ability to multitask in some areas. To Eiko it seemed natural to mulitask, often seeming guided by some form of spirit. In truth, if Lord Dequir or any mystic focused hard enough, they'd see a spectre often hovering about Eiko now that the interference was gone, seeming to make her move more quickly, precisely, methodically. Their survival depended on everyone, and if one person failed, the entire expedition was surely doomed, along with some of Trikorn. Simply put, it wasn't an option.

The Ranger seemed amused as the Vok girl was knocked out. "By all means. If you want the attention, if you're certain of such a thing." A grin had formed under the Ranger's helmet, and they shrugged. "Now then. Are we done?"

Iammelon wrote:The Nephilim Guard got a reaction from Excave as well, and they disagreed with the Guard on their idea of the entire planet being their stomping ground.

The Jaguar IFV stopped, larger than its usual model. A massive, 8 foot tall superhuman exited, colored in black and red power armor with a crozius arcanum in one hand, mechanical wings folded against his back as he looked at the combat drake, his helmet fashioned into the likeness of a human skull. "An unexplained nuclear detonation occured here. This endangers all on Angelarium, and all under the watch of this Legion. These events...cause concern, xenos." While xenos wasn't said malignantly, this was the first instance of a Legion and a foreign power meeting in any manner outside of the Imperial Guardians. Iammelon wrote:Myrafiora could be assured that Zenos was just as nervous as she was, and similarly he was trying to handle it by focusing on more pleasant things than the pressure of the public; such as Myra herself.

Myrafiora hadn't thought of any diplomatic or other concerns really, especially since she had been preoccupied with Zenos like a foolish schoolgirl, what she wanted now was to get more time with that prince ..and for much more than just the diplomatic repercussions this would carry over to the Talmyrox. Diplomatic repercussions ..of course! She shook her head and turned at the great emperor, still feeling extremely awkward and leaning in to make her voide heard "Y-yes ..in ..in fact there is something. Wh-while I ..l-l-like your son m-more than a lot, I errr... h-have to be a T-t-talmyr as well." she strethced her hands over the table to put some emphasis on her words "I w-will n-need your vocal s-support of my reign. And I pray that it may not be needed ..b-but s-s-such a marriage also m-means a p-passive and defensive ..mal ..military alliance wh-where I come from. Th-this is important because f-for the first ..hmm ..time in th-thousand years we will have peace in the Talmyrox, if all goes as planned. And ..th-that will affect Zhandyon ...err Zantium, as well." she retracted her hands and crossed her arms, awaiting nervously at Maximianus' response ..though worrying more that she had insulted Zenos, as he could draw false conclusions about what he meant to her besides politics. This was quite evident as she gave quick guilty glances at Zenos and blushing and lowering her head as she did.

Iammelon wrote:The Broodmothers, in their attempts, would see that Omnipo too was setting up their own bases at the landing sites they had established. Mostly light forces with infantry, with the heavier equipment and Toxi-Troops currently not in the area. However, sending out Overseers would prove to be a mistake, for OMNI Reaper Gunships, equipped to detect such things, found the Overseers in their scouting patrols. They generally not only destroyed them, but informed Omnipo of the Zerg presence, starting a cascade in which the Toxi-Troops would soon be prepared and sent to reinforce the area.

Mierl nodded to Yajana, "That sounds like a smart idea. We should keep an eye on Sieg, I believe. She is most likely to cause trouble, and if we watch over her we will negate a potentially major issue." There were a number of Excave Guards around, keeping an eye on each Broodmother, but of course more on Sieg would not have been a bad idea.

Admiral Tamour looked to Melyphis and sternly shook his head, clearly not appreciating what she was insisting, "You would die, rather quickly. This is no pirate force or minor army we face. This is Omnipo, and they are not lacking in knowledge or counter measures. If you attempted that, you would almost certainly be intercepted and you'd find yourself in a poor position, and almost certainly shot before you can get your bearings. No, we have to get more basic. I have the coordinates, right here. We just need to send a message, that is all." He brought up the base's location, with text saying its coordinates, on a holotable.

---

Rovin took out a small piece of paper, writing down the location and coordinates of the Grand Hunt office on the planet. He then handed that piece of paper over to Thatcher so he could use it to get the ship where they needed it. Then he sat back down and sighed, looking over to Piper, "Well, that's fine. Not your war, that's true. But it's best to try and avoid appearing condescending about it. People care about things. And because this is not your war, it's theirs, you saying it is petty and pointless strikes a low blow towards those who think more of it. So it's really a case of empathy, I guess."

"Sieg is an issue... She is quite powerful by herself. If we did not have her outnumbered as heavily as we do I doubt I could take her on my own even with the pups. Until we can win her over we will have to settle for twisting her arm into helping us." As Yaj and Mierl make their way to the Broodmothers hives, Xernus messages them through her Overseer she left with Yajana "Sister... I am sorry for my recklessness... Omnipo is aware of our presence here. I did not predict that their troop transports had some sort of powerful sensor that saw through our Overseer's invisibility... They will no doubt be diverting their foul chemical troopers this way..." Yaj did not like hearing this... But it was her plan in the first place, she should have been more careful "No no, the fault is mine... With them moving in the toxi-troops we will now have to utilise subterfuge and defence... If we engage them up close we'll be helpless against their mutagenic acid. But they aren't the real threats we have to worry about. Their Psi Revenants are the real threat since their psionic prowess can mess with the broodmothers connection to the broods. I don't have to worry about this since I choice going the primal route with my pups..."

Yaj thought for a moment, they were in a tough spot now. But... "We could take the Toxi-troopers out with snipers since they are riot troops they aren't good at long distance combat so they'd have to take cover, we can use Mutalisks to pin them down at range, their superior speed and distance puts them away from the acid and fast enough to dodge their usual plasma fire... I could have Ravagers attack them as well once they're pinned. Then they'd be melted thanks to the corrosive acid meant especially to take out heavily armoured targets." She says looking to Mierl "What do you think?"

Melyphus seemed rather disheartened but she did understand. "Teleportation won't work then... How bothersome these people are. Then we'll need someone fast, outside of teleportation I have no powers meant for crossing large distances. I apologise for my lack of ability in this field sir..."

Taking the paper, Thatch started to head for the coordinates, the ship turning around on a pin and heading for the coordinates. Piper sat down in the chair, relaxing as she slumped into the seat to recover. She's been wasting alot of energy lately with how mad she gets. "Being the embodiment of greed you tend to lack empathy for the most part I'm afraid..." She says tilting her head to the side as she shuts her eyes. "I have a soft spot for kids so I'll help them at the drop of a hat. But... I was made to be an assassin, not a soldier... Lyon or Draco would be better here instead of me. I get that what I say can annoy people but if I don't give them an unfiltered opinion then they'll hear it from real outsiders. Better to hear it from a nobody with nothing to gain then from someone who wants something in return for helping them."

The prince was worried that his people may get dragged into this conflict given their connection to both sides. But so far nothing bad has happened... Yet... "Riots... And we just came from Bezembay too. Looks like I choose a good time to come home anyways... Where's my father?"

Filia shrugged as she put her hands behind her head and walked with the pair of them back to the palace "I think he went to one of the Confederate worlds... Mitsy eagerly purred as she nuzzled into Liline's hand, Sephus nodded as he pointed down the corridor "Ah, well then you'll find a spare bunk in the room on the left as you go past the lounge room halfway down the corridor before you reach the stairs to the cargo bay. I hope you feel better after you've had some sleep, I'll wake you before we arrive at Bezembay." He says trying to smile

Remain indoors until fallout has been cleared. Exceptions include only Department of Enforcement, Department of Health, and Confederate Expeditionary Force personnel." Because the slender, cylinder object was a nuclear warhead.

Iammelon wrote:The massive nuclear blast that leveled the Golden Temple was, unsurprisingly, quickly noticed by the Excave forces on Angelarium.

The Firstborn Response

With the destruction of the golden temple being so close to their border, with rubble smattering across the landscape and with there being a great many smaller village settlements near there the first response to the detonation was a massive barrier of flaming Psionic energy raising around the Imperial province to protect against the immense fallout while soldiers were deployed to keep the peace and to calm down anxious civilians to make sure no one panicked.

Tempest Raider deployment

The firstborn's mightiest amongst the numerous military castes, lead by the nephew to the King of Blades and the one who oversees the Firstborn Capital 'Faulkon City', deploys close to ground zero out of the way of the Nephilim Legion and the Excave forces. Changeling soldiers with the newly created Laxar heavy infantry soldiers and Lazarus specialists arrive near the scene to watch from afar, the temple belonged to Excave so it was not their place to enter their lands when this was something that they would only meddle in when asked. Until such a time they would endeavour to scout the length of the border and go to the impact sites where remnants of the once imposing Golden Temple flew into their land to see if they couldn't gather up the pieces and return them to Excave.

Iammelon wrote:Lord Raaus responded poorly to this joke, with his ears suddenly perking up when he heard it. He was of course offended by this disrespect of his people's spirit channeling ways, considering he was one such channeler, and a lord for that matter. But with the situation, he couldn't dwell. He instead merely gave May a rather stern glare of disapproval. Zia meanwhile grabbed its head, just shaking it, "Spirit? I'm not dead... But, I remember dying, so vividly... I remember dying so many times, yet I remember living too. I remember dying right there, right now." The creature then simply pointed off in a direction, where one could see in the distance a group of Iammelonian resistance soldiers were trying to flee down an alley. However, a missile struck a nearby building, causing a sudden collapse where the building fell down, crushing all of the soldiers. They were all most certainly dead. Zia then reacted with a grunt of pain, its body shivering, "I remember the pain, but that wasn't me... I shot the missile! No, no, I was on the other side of the planet! Agh! I just know, I remember things for three more days. Then it ends... So I repeat it! I make it go again, and again. Until I finally find out what happened to me! I just want to know why it is all so jumbled. Do you know? Am I dead?"

The Ialao was puzzled with the most unsusual fate of this ..thing. All things in the scene depicted before them indicated that new Zia was a ghost of shorts ..it appeared that way at least and gave May chills down her spine, making her clinge harder to the big strong and annoyed Anubite next to her. Nevertheless, she would not tell that ghost it was a ghost "Well, ehm ...You don't appear dead. I mean you talk and you think. I think therefore I am ..no? An ancient Talavaari said that once, Then Kseba Nch, and they were quite the smart fellas those Talavaari." she turned with an even more apologetic and mellow look towards Raaus "Not more than the great Anubite civilization that I study and admire of course ..besides a few jokes of bad taste. So, Raaus, how could we help our friend?"

Though he could certainly agree that her sudden dragging him away to the shop was a poor habit, gave him little time to enjoy his achievement of making Liz happy. But at the shop, he looked around with interest, "Oh, very well. Let me find something then that looks nice. I was unaware of this tradition, but it seems like a good one. Now let's see..." Azdrey was of course not too interested in the more clearly memorabilia collectors items, since he didn't read their comics and so lacked any knowledge of what was on them. He did go over and look at the boardgames, particularly the Dragon one to verify if that was indeed the same Dragon he was often assigned to protect. But finally, Azdrey settled on the crystal statues. He pointed at the most interesting warrior of them and spoke to Lizbet, "Who's this? I like their statue. Crystal things like this have always interested me."

The statue depicted in great detail a large winged humanoid with big horns and wearing a moon-shaped crown, on top of that two etherphins seemed to jump from bubbles on her sides as she casted some kind of spell.
The Mazdai clerk boy jerked up and started paying attention to the newcomers instead of his holomovie "Ah! This is the guardian angel spirit of Shahbanu Farzaneh IV, an old real life Mazdai Queen, she's also an unlockable char in the Final Ethersea series ..it's a great game, you should try it out man. Ah, Hi Liz."
Lizbet smiled and grabbed the rather heavy statue bringing it to the counter while punting "Ugh ..phew.. write it along with the rest, Zebadush. By the way ..when is the Special Collectors' Edition of Elder Scripts III I ordered coming?"
The chubby salesman shrugged and shook his head "I don't know, give or take a week ..it's hard to find translated Bellerephonti games and you know it. Is ..is that your boyfriend? Hmm."
Lizbet turned looking at Azdrey a little saddened "Well ...err ..you know ..I don't know yet ..for now he's an adorable ambassador from the east, Azdrey." Zebadush leaned his head to the right to look at Azdrey "Watch out Azdrey, she's a bit nuts, last session she killed my char because I stole a shadow ring she did not even need! Anything else you might want though?" Liz groaned at Zeba's warning to Azdrey, appearing defeated by the tremendously shocking revalation of how much of a "softbeak" she was.

He did of course notice the shift in her eyes, and so he could tell that she had entered some sort of focus mode to help her do this, but he was nonetheless impressed by the display. He clapped for a bit and then nodded, "Yes, Nia has done well. You have taken to the game quickly, this is good. We may now play a game to satisfy your previous request of something to do in competition. Now-" The Watrike was cut off by his comm unit beeping, and he swerved his head to the side to look at it before picking it up and reading the message. He nodded to himself, and put the unit away, turning his head back to Nia, "Unfortunately the game must be delayed. My superiors are ready to perform a questioning session. It is nothing to fear, it will simply be to ask you questions about things before now. After that, we may return here. But for now, we must head to the local garrison station. This way please." He walked over to the door, opening them to the wider Trikorn world yet again. He waved for Nia to follow him outside, since thankfully the Garrison was only down the block. Triome was a highly militarized city after all.

Nia's tail stopped wagging, she hang her head down and sighed "Aww! This one can never have fun... ...but ok, Nia will answer the call. Is important to explain to host this one thinks" as she grabbed Cendri's hand she gave him a very stern look, hiding a bit of worrying within it "If only questions, all is good. But Cendri must know though that if this one is hurt or attempted to put down, cannot be sure of what happen next ..if this happens, Cendri must run away. Yes? Good."
With that she would follow Cendri to whomever the big trike heads wanted them to be; even though she felt very uncertain, she did not plan to escape, or harm her relations with her new brothers and sisters ..her own species that she had rediscovered anew.

The sudden emotional shift of Saitkik was rather jarring to Fluffs, who did not expect her to get so panicky and saddened so quick. Not to mention her strength was surprising. But in the end, Fluffs was mostly just annoyed that her fur had been cried upon once more. Wiping off some of the waterworks, she then grabbed Saitkik's head to force her to look up at the Valorian's face while she spoke, "Stop crying on me, please. I already got drenched by Naga tears today, I don't want to clean out two batches of emotional liquor in a bath. And I'm not eating you, I ain't hungry right now. Just ate the sandwich, so I'm full. Now get up, you're my assistant now, and I've got business to handle with the snakes. Come on, no wasting time now, I won't be late for your sake." She suddenly then pulled Saitkik to her feet, before walking off towards the sounds of Ashi and Zoji. Fluffs walked at a brisk pace, since she wasn't in the mood for running. She did throw a glare back at the woman in the alley, expecting her to get over her crying faster and follow quick.

Saitkik threw her hands in the air in jubilation and then fell right back on the Valorian's feet kissing them "Thank you oh great divine hedgehog! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Anything you say is a holy command for me!" However before the frog lady would do as commanded Ashi and Zoji turned around in the alley, looking with pure disgust at the despicable sight of Fluffs having her feet kissed loyally. Ashija's tone was now strict and one could tell she was really disappointed by Fluffs "By the All-Eater, show some restraint ...eating them is fine, but that is just humiliating!" sighing, she rolled her eyes and rested her arm on top of a small hut "besides, we have much to talk about ..we won't stay here for long, a gathering has been summoned" Zoji slithered right above the frog "I'll get rid of this prey in an instant and spare us of any future awful sights Ashija-love, just wait" The big black cobra opened his mouth ready to devour poor Saitkik, if Fluffs was to be true to her word she should act ..now.

Mica had just finished a speech in the Boethan parliament, a speech that unlike the various ones before it had nothing to do with Cyboar, a speech about unity and right; A speech about freedom and the Iammelonian way; A speech as well that secured and approved her petition to achieve full and direct command of the Ministry of Security and have her voted by a majority of 57% of all parliamentarians the title of Military Plenipotentiary of the Serene Republic of Boetha ...from this speech and onwards, this senator and BIA operative was now and officially the commander in chief of Boetha, with the rank of Marshal. In these dark times though our hero had little reason for celebration, for there was nothing to celebrate about; sparing little time at the Consul's office getting advice by her elected and civic head of state she left Boetha in a hurry to meet with one of her few allies.
She would arrive much later that day at the Union's headquarters, trying to find her way through the multitude of generals and admirals devising plans, paying little to no attention at her. Finally, there he was ..the good old Grand drake surrounded by his loyal watrike. She let a little sigh and remained staring at him with a melancholic smile "Vhy It had to come to zhat... I alvays thought it vould be Cyboar."

He would begin ordering all troops to position on the massive adjacent door, as he is expecting something big to pop up once they blast the doors op-

The doors would suddenly explode killing a T.H.O.R. trooper with a direct shrapnel headshot, everyone else is fine or have minimal injuries. Baeusthair was infront of Laura when that happened managed to tackle her to cover her from the ensuing explosion. He gasps for air as he checks whats happening. Dust and debris form around them.. "Are you alright?" He says attempting to give her a hand. A Fire-fight ensues.

The Explosion would catch her off guard, however with the quick thinking of Baeusthair, and his reaction she would only have a moment to think and a moment to process what had happened only to look around being on the ground and witnessing him standing over her, her rifle still slung over her shoulder as the Traduitarian Marines would begin to return fire, the Orion Units providing the most amount of fire with the two still surviving Orion Units the both of them Holding a form of Light Machine gun, Suppressing hostile locations all the while her marines would begin to open fire, and begin to Advance.

In the Process of this Laura would Manage to pull herself up with the help of Baeusthair once more, as she wad up she'd reach for her rifle, checking to ensure that it is still intact before speaking "The More you do this, the more I owe you, Realize this right?". Now with Laura being once again back on her feet she'd Reach for her rifle, and fire off a few shots all the while having what remained of her Marines work along side Nesorite Forces in order to clear out this last pocket of resistance

Filia shrugged as she put her hands behind her head and walked with the pair of them back to the palace "I think he went to one of the Confederate worlds... Their Emperor asked for his help with something. Though lately Zether's been really distracted by something. He spaces out alot for no reason."

Harlock started to look worried hearing this, but he shook his head. He can worry about his dad later. "With everything that's been happening I'm sure he has alot on his mind. Anything else we need to know about?"

Filia shook her head as she tapped her chin with her slender finger, scrunching her nose in thought before her face relaxes with the blank she drew "Nada. All I have is Civil War and Zether looking vacant more often. So, what are you guys going to do now that you're back? Want to get some drinks?"

Jazmin looked at Harlock. "No, no. Not an actual riot. I meant like... We're going to have a riot... The figure of speech. Not the actually thing. I doubt will care too much to be honest with you... We're kinda self centered from a national point of view." She looked to Filla and smiled. "I for one would love a fruity drink!"

She smiled in return and housed the little kitten onto her shoulder. Before heading to the bunk. Sephus was alone for a little while. About seven hours later, the ship reached Bezembay space. Sephus could tell, he could see it for the past two hours. The planet with a large glare pointed right at them. From the sound of the ship's bathroom, Liline was up. There were many thousands of ships flying in every which way, going to the world, adjacent the world, away from the world. There were merchants, yachts, cargo ships, passenger liners, naval ships, small ships, Bezi Ships, Iammelonian Ships, Talmyr Ships, Shokouan Ships. As they reached the large and ornate Dyson Sphere, crowned with its massive 18 Golden Spires, Sephus had a few options of where to go. There were many hundreds of lines of ships waiting to get into the planet.
