Breaking News from the Bureau of Zombie Apocalypse Management

A sudden burst of static comes from a dusty radio sitting in a neglected corner of your nation's bunker.

Gooooood morning, Equilism! This is Tammy Brighton, coming to you live during this year's Z-Day apocalypse.

If you aren't tuned in to the regional Discord, you may not be aware of new developments in our annual battle against the undead.

Some of our most active Cure Squadron members were entirely zombie-free as of a few hours ago when we experienced a dramatic setback in our cure missile infrastructure.

It appears that saboteurs have infiltrated our scientific networks, dismantled our cure missile silos, and destroyed all previous cure research.

This means all nations currently without cure missile superweapons are now in need of additional zombified test subjects in order to (re)develop their cure missiles. But Equilism has been so far cleared of zombies that test subjects - and thus progress on our missiles - is hard to come by.

We are pursuing a three-pronged strategy as a result:

1) Selective, controlled re-infection of Cure Squadron volunteers. Several allied nations in other regions have not fared as well as Equilism so far, and have zombie hordes to donate to the cause of scientific progress. We have solicited their help in order to obtain test subject volunteers from among our own citizens so that cure missile development can resume. Border patrol is aware of these allies and has explicitly authorized them to enter the region and deploy hordes. Do not panic. But do flag any intruder you see on the RMB, in case unauthorized hordes attempt to exploit the situation and reinfect non-volunteers.

In other words, if you see zombies reappear in previously zombie-free Cure Squadron members, DO NOT ENGAGE. I repeat, DO NOT fire cure missiles at long-term Equilism residents engaged in curing unless directed otherwise by regional command. Newcomers and refugees to the region need more help anyway! 2) Delayed curing of the resurrected dead. Several nations entered Equilism with casualties from a brutal first wave of infections. Their deceased citizens have now risen from their graves as zombies - which is both horrifying and thrilling for those who had thought their loved ones lost forever (or at least for the rest of the day). The Cure Squadron is deliberately refraining from curing nations in this category so that they have time to develop cure missiles again.

3) Foreign aid expeditions to acquire test subjects provide medical assistance and share cure research. While we have slowed our curing efforts in Equilism itself to allow for more effective cure missile redevelopment, many other regions are in catastrophic condition and need our help. This is a tremendous opportunity to assist other regions, while simultaneously exposing enough of our own citizen volunteers to the outbreak to resume our own cure missile development at a more rapid place.

This depends on whether or not you have zombies in your Nation. No zombies, no scientific advancement. Too many zombies, people die.

Now if possible, could I have cure missiles sent my way? I have quite a few infected to worry about here.
