Kipo freezes as the Amphibian painfully squirms. She suddenly lashes out. "What are you doing!?! Can't you see you're hurting him!?!" She says, her eyes have a fiery determination, not unlike the man who owns the Moon.
He scowls
“We have more pressing concerns then if frogman over here in uncomfortable.”
His eyes are dispassionate, as if this is a regular occurrence for him.
It was sudden and completely took even Thane off guard with her speed. She jumped with such force and speed that Thane couldn't even react as her arm wrapped around his neck and she hung from his back putting him a choke hold, her strength matched his own to his complete surprise. "He hasn't done anything!!! You just took control of someones body without them doing anything!!!" She yells as Dave and Bradley begin trying to sneak away from the seen. The Amphibian suddenly yells at them, free from his telekinesis. "Where do you two think you're going!?! I don't care if he has some fancy shmancy mind powers I ain't giving up my home to a bunch of meddling humans! And whatever the hell you are!!!" Dave and Bradley stare wide eyed and shocked before turning and booking it from the scene as the Amphibian whistles.
Thane is taken aback. He smashes his back on the wall in an attempt to get her off.
“What the hella re you doing?!”
Once she hits the wall a light rumble is felt, light enough for Thane to feel it but everyone else doesn't. "Didn't Vasey tell us to get help not attack defenseless people!?! This is his home! We didn't know! The least you could say is sorry instead of forcing him to the ground! Aren't Gods supposed to be generous!?!" She yells as more Amphibians of the same species begin coming up, with maces, hammers and mourning stars as Kipo looks with wide eyes towards them. "Okay you can use your powers now, just don't kill anyone!" She releases Thane from her grip and falls to the ground.
Thane looks at her, his eyes narrowed. “Sometimes it’s better to prevent conflict then to deal with it when it comes.”
He uses telekinesis to throw 3 small boulders at the amphibious attackers
The one with the hammer slams the boulder with the hammer and shatters it while smiling triumphantly. The others dodge with surprising agility. One of them proceeds to take out a crossbow of sorts and begins loading it. Kipo stands behind Thane waiting for him to handle it.
He rolls his eyes and raises his arm. As he does, a thick layer of frost begins rapidly advancing towards the amphibians
They all look with wide eyes as they quickly jump back. The one with the crossbow quickly recovers and fires a bolt straight towards Thane and Kipo.
The bolt stops just as it is about to hit them, turns around and launches towards his leg. The ice continues creeping closer.
He screams as he jumps to the side and they all begin retreating back, the one who they first encountered turns back and yells. "This doesn't end here!!!" Before running off with the others.
The ice stops moving and begins releasing mist as it dissipates. Thane turns around, his expression unchanged.
“Was that okay?”
Kipo turns to Thane. "Yeah, sure, it's better than hurting anyone. Where's Dave and Bradley?"
Somewhere below the cliffs:
Dave and Bradley are suddenly pushed into tank-like truck and it begins driving away, it appears they've been captured by the Amphibians on their way to escape. Dave is knocked cold and Bradley is restrained by very strong rope.
Thane looks around
“I have no idea. Probably ran off. I saw them leaving when you flipped out and attacked me.”
"Well... I have no clue where we go from here... We have to find them at least."
Thane looks around, then flies into the sky. he looks around, searching for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. Seeing the truck, he comes back down.
Thane: "only thing i saw was an armored car. Might be them."
"Well then what are you waiting for let's go after them!" Kipo says as she begins climbing down the cliff face. Slightly struggling but trying.
Thane flies down the cliff face, and yells back up at her
"Do you need any help with that?"
Kipo slightly slipping as she's climbing down. "Uhuh, please."
kipo is pulled off the cliff and quickly falls down, before decelerating towards the bottom and being dropped onto the ground
Kipo smiling gets up with her hands up to her chest in fists. "THat was awesome!" She says loudly alerting the amphibians as they begin driving even faster.
thane sighs.
"Can you keep up with that car?"
"What? How do you expect me to keep up with a car!?! I'll try but don't expect much from me." Kipo begins running fast, but not nearly as fast as the armored car.
"Nevermind. Come on, i hope you're good with heights."
he starts flying, and levitates kipo along with him, as they pursue the car at high speeds
Kipo is laughing and cheering as she's being flung through the air with Thane, completely lacking any fear.
