There you can also find my opening remarks on creating a 'Basic Law' for our region. All comments, suggestions and ideas are welcome!
For the record: this is an informal process. There's no urgency or pressure. We can take as long as we need to define a direction for Northumbria. This is more a discussion of possibilities for now.

hey yall im new to this site and i thought this region was perfect for me. so, what do you do in a region?
What you do in a region is anytning. What you do in this region is everything.
We're looking to build a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary government. A region of culture and class, role-play and inter-regional relations.
Northumbria aims to be the foremost Anglo-Saxon region in NationStates. Help us become that!
Sounds good to me!
one more question... whats the point of joining a region? just curious...
You have to be a part of a region in NationStates - that's just game mechanics. But you're free to join a region that you identify with or where you think you can best be of use. So if you're a strong role-player, maybe you'd be inclined to join a strong role-playing region, and so on.
Or you can join a newer region where you can help define it and forge its direction and build its future – like Northumbria! 👍
