The paramount leader resigns
Premier and general secretary Anna Essler has resigned in a surprise session of the supreme people’s assembly. She resigned from both the positions of premier and the general secretary. No reason has been officially stated. Furusawa Eitoku, the deputy premier, has been made the acting premier, longtime deputy secretary Nishihara Inaho has been appointed as the chairman of the politburo and interim general secretary until a new general secretary can be elected.

The Emperor hears this news and wishes the former Premier best of luck in her life. He also hopes that the incoming premier and general secretary can continue the warm relations between the GN and Homdura.

Isabella squeezes her hand tightly and nods as they take off. Secretly though, King Reiner's men send a message to Jargoth that the Queens have been located and the airplane has been tagged. Two CF-20 fighter jets are ordered to fly to intercept the flight and force them to land. Isabella closes her eyes and falls asleep after the flight takes off.
Karolina smiles. "I promise that we are safe." She is quiet and looks out the window as they take off. A little bit into the flight she hears a noise and then looks out the window. She sees a fighter jet and realizes that it is a Covviad one. She then glances at Olga and shakes her head and points to the window.
Olga whispers to Karolina. "Call Emperor Karl immediately and I will call President Hella as well!" Olga takes Isabella's phone and is careful not to wake her up. At the same time, the Covviad fighter jets make radio contact with the Nordic flight. "GN flight 240, we have reason to believe that Isabella and her accomplace Olga are on this airplane with the missing Queen Karolina and Princess Adrienne. We request this flight to land at the Covviad air base in Iceland."
Karolina nods and moves away from Isabella to call the Emperor. The Emperor is angry at what he is hearing and quickly scrambles two jets. The pilot of the Nordic flight responds to the jets. "Negative, I dont know why you think that the missing Queens are on this flight but you are wrong. We are just an ordinary flight and we will not be diverting to the Covviad base."
President Hella is informed about this and she's extremely pissed and orders two jets to be scrambled as well. One of the Covviad fighter jets performs a dangerous maneuver by cutting across the airplane's nose. "King Reiner has ordered that this flight land immediately for an inspection!" The maneuver of the Covviad fighter jet wakes Isabella up and she looks out her window. "Oh sh*t! Oh f*ck!"
The Nordic jets get there and one of the pilots gets on the radio to the Covviad jets. “You are violating several rules by harassing this innocent plane. Please stop this or we will be forced to use drastic measures.” The pilot of the plane sees the jet make a maneuver and preforms a defensive evasive move. Karolina sees that Isabell has woken up abd tries to calm her down. “Do not worry my love, we will be safe. The Emperor will not let the King get to you and neither will Hella.”
Isabella is clearly panicked as she holds her son tightly. The Covviad airplanes reply. "Isabella is accused of kidnapping the Queen and the Princess of Covvia and must face justice. She was spotted boarding the flight so we are demanding that this flight lands immediately." The Covviad airplanes detect the Icelandic ones and they become angry. "Back off Icelandic aircraft! This doesn't concern you!" The Icelandic airplanes reply. "By order of the Queen Regent and the President of Iceland, turn around and go home!" The Covviad aircraft open their weapons bays and reply. "Back off Icelandic aircraft or we will fire!!"
The Nordic aircraft hear this and are not swayed. “She is accused of this but you have no proof of her boarding this flight. I repeat that you are acting in violation of many laws and you are bothering a innocent plane for no reason. I repeat, cease your intercept or we will shoot! This is ordered straight from the Emperor so you must comply!”The pilots see the icelandic aircraft and are happy to see them. They send a message to them. “Stay your course and if necessary, we will shoot the Covviads down.”
The Emperor hears what is happening in the air and is incensed. He calls King Reiner.
One of the CF-20's uses it's thrust vectoring engines and climbs rapidly and to an altitude that both the Nordic and Icelandic aircraft can't reach. The other one decends quickly and calls for reinforcements.
King Reiner picks up. "Hello Emperor Karl! I understand that you are assisting a wanted fugitive which is very unfortunate...I know they are on that flight!"
One of the Nordic fighters follows the one that descends while the other one stays with the plane.
The Emperor takes a drink before he speaks.The King can probably hear the anger in his voice."Hello King Reiner. What makes you think that I am assisting a wanted fugitive? I said that you could send people to the cabin but instead you decide to harass an innocent flight from the GN. Now, I want you to call off your planes or my planes will shoot.Or maybe I can release the evidence of you poisoning your sisters? But I dont think you want me to do that."
This is foreshadowing btw.
Hmmm. Also, uh oh. I dont like where this is going.
Two more Covviad fighter jets join the ongoing incident and radio the Nordic and Icelandic aircraft. "Quit interfering immediately!"
King Reiner laughs. "Go ahead and release that 'proof' Emperor Karl, I'm sure that some people like Aurelian would find some pleasure in it! It's obvious that you informed Olga and Isabella about how my people were coming and we have photos of them boarding the flight..."
The Nordic planes radio back. “Negative, we request that you stop interfering with this innocent plane’s flight.”
The Emperor is silent for a moment and takes another drink. “I am not going to release the proof but I am going to give you another chance to call off your aircraft. If it is so obvious then how come I do not know that I did it? You have no proof of them boarding the flight.”
