The communist party, ruled by the central commitee of the Communist Party of Romania with
Constantin Rotaru as it`s general secretary
believes in a proletariat working class which does not accept economic freedom
However i should agree on one thing: Lion clan is right about WA
This does NOT mean we support capitalism or democracy
YOU should vote the CP for liberty, peace, and prosperity!
we should never forget that THE PEOPLE ARE THE TRUE MASTERS AND WILL ALWAYS BE
MASTERS ON THEIR DESTINIES ON THEIR RICHES!

The Communist party is the only key to progress of the people!
Countries participating in the Roman Byzantine Union will be not only glorified in some regions,
but in the whole World and WA!
Think about this!
make sure to vote!

Dear voters, the Reds say that they do not support democracy. Why then do they run in democratic elections?

Also, Senatorial candidates can vote right?

And, is it one vote only or ranked choice voting?

the reds participate in democratic elections so we have a BLOODY chance in the senate!

Hello Roman Byzantine Union,

The Union is doing remarkably well under the reign of DACOROMANIA and Palsada. They have given us the opportunity to select who makes our laws and allows us to decide our own destiny. The new Senate is the culmination of such a system, making our union extremely meritocratic and democratic in its institutions.

However, dremocracy brings elections. This is my campaign proposal for the Roman Byzantine Senate.

Throughout history there have been many different economic systems. These range from a completely planned economy run by the state to laizzez-faire capitalism with no state intervention. All systems, of course, have their flaws, but history is a good teacher of which systems tend to lead to a thriving society. The Freedom Party agrees with the viewpoint that the systems that allow for greater individual freedom tend to evolve into productive societies, while systems that have state control of the individual stagnate and become decadent.

Most people tend to view the system that prospers as the better option. That is why you should vote for me and Lion Clan for Senate.

together, we will protect the freedoms of the nations of the Union!

Hail Roman Byzantine Union!

Dear comrades / voters
Don`t listen to the capitalist pigs!
State owned institutions do better!
Mainly because the money, doesn`t go in the hands of the owners
The money could go to the state, to improve healthcare, industry, and education
Payment will obviously come as well.
Together with socialist blood we could create a new revolution!
If your country has suffered too much from capitalism
try socialism.
The CP promisses to aid every single socialist nation.
These circles, and these gentlemen, should turn their eyes to two directions:
how to wipe out the oppression of developing countries, to solve the external debt of one
billion and two hundred ... one thousand two hundred billion dollars of these countries. And this is not by symbols.
symbolism is good in art. In the economy and in politics, do not make two money!

first of you spelt a lot of things incorrectly, and second off with your 'Together with socialist blood we could create a new revolution!' sounds a bit to much like trying to take over the government so tone it down a bit, or we might need to ban your party for treason and things of the sort.

first of i know i`ve spelt a lot of things incorrectly mainly because i ain`t british / american secondly together with socialist blood we could
create a new revolution is not intended as a civil war or something like that. it is meant for industrial and political revolution
If you don`t like me, do whatever you want or even better make your own party

I think you may be missing the point GB is making. He’s saying that the phrase “Socialist Blood” sounds like a violent revolution and seizure of power rather than a peaceful transition of power.

I think I get the context here.

Its like saying with sweat blood and tears, you get something done.

Considering that he considers himself socialist it would mean his own blood.

Its right on the limit, but as no threats were specificly uttered I'll let it slide.

Need one more or everyone in the WA will be voted on.

DACOROMANIA, Andalusian union, and North johen ezermard

Hello everyone.

I'm running for the rbu senate because I believe that this region needs to equally provide for all its citizens.

As a member of our military I also believe we need to enact measures to increase our readiness and ability to project force abroad.

I am running under the Communist party banner because their policies most closely align to mine.

I hope you support myself and the communist party on the 15th.

Salve!
Esteemed member nations, we are at a time of growth, I recommend every-one still active to ask at least five nations a day to join our region.

I think recruitment telegrams work best (tho I have no idea how to make one that looks good)

Hello. Who are you? And why leaving?

North johen ezermard wrote:I think recruitment telegrams work best (tho I have no idea how to make one that looks good)

Recruiting-Telegrams may have 1% chances to attract people (between 0 and 10%). Even if paying for telegram stamps, many people in game are sending personally a certain number (between 3 and 10) of telegrams per day.

Recruiting telegrams work mostly for newcomers and re-founding-back players. Not all new players remain active in game, and some others may refound their virtual nations for just keeping their accounts active.

The 2 types of players (newbies and coming-back) are no more than 25% of all players. At around 70% of players are outside of these 2 types of players, meaning the rest of the NationStates world.

For example, 2 of our important members (Byzantine exarchates and -arcadia didn't receive a regular recruiting-telegram, but a personally-written telegram recruiting them. They were from the third category of players (the rest of p).

However, if someone wants to invest 25$$ to send telegrams to all W.A. nations (~25,000 players) to invite them to join may be the easiest way without spending time and also most expensive. Yet may remain some (30% maybe?) who aren't in W.A.

Also it matters what you're telling them and why they should come to our region. Who are we and what's unique and important to convince them join us.

This is all what I know about.

Our first Gazette is out!

Voltarian Gazette Issue I

by Voltarian dispatch office

The Voltarian Gazette will be distributed monthly, containing changes to the government, roleplay, and more. Keep reading to see what's been happening!

The Great Volt War
This week we have had the fortune (or misfortune) of experiencing a whole myriad of events in the world of Voltarium.
Dominating this week's RP was “The Great Volt War” as it has come to be known.

The war started (at least according to some sources) when the nation of Indopersia began an invasion of the Freeslavicpeoples. This action spurred Spaldania to defend the FSP (due to a trade alliance). Shortly after the beginning of the war, Spaldania called for assistance from her allies when this assistance was not granted to as large of an extent as Spaldania wanted, Spaldania cut its losses with the Sakura Alliance and joined the Pact of Todias.

The first part of the Great Volt War ended after the Indopersians capitulated to Kemonomica. This was to the great annoyance of many other participating countries, as Kemonomica joined the war later than some, and arguably did less for the war effort.
The second (and hopefully final) half of the war began when modernised Spaldanian forces marched into Indopersian territory, swiftly taking many towns. Shortly after, the rest of the Pact of Todias joined the war on the Spaldanian side.
Indopersia, under the protection of the Sakura alliance quickly responded, with both Indopersian and Sakura alliance troops attempting to halt the Pacts advances.
A couple of months and many casualties later the Pact of Todias had completely surrounded the Indopersian capital, the issue was, Indopersia refused to capitulate, and the Pact forces refused to advance outwards and attack the Sakura Alliance, this was problematic for the Pact, since it meant that all they could do was carry on the siege of Indopersia, whilst the Sakura Alliance slowly whittled away at their defences.
Eventually, it became clear that a white peace would be the only solution to the war, since the Sakura Alliance refused to give up, and, even if they managed to push Spaldanian forces back, only more destruction would lie in wait for them.

This has been the largest war in the entire history of Voltarium, this four-month, or eight-day, war contained eight combatant nations, primarily being the Pact of Todias VS the Sakura Alliance. There was however no victor, as a white peace was decided upon, entitled; The Treaty of Katiko.
After the signing of the treaty, borders have resumed their prior positions.

What was the surface area of roman Dacia?

Jaydonian wrote:What was the surface area of roman Dacia?

A good question.

Probably no bigger than the kingdom of dacia.

I don't know how big that was either.

Actually, I know it was slightly smaller than the kingdom of Dacia. I just don't know the exact surface area
