Living it up at Soldier Field, Chicago at the Ireland vs NZ All Blacks rugby match! What a game!
I think the World Series victory on Wednesday was much more important...
For some. To each their own. It was fun to watch on TV, but I'm glad I missed most of the chaotic aftermath. We drove into town right after the victory parade and rally on Friday. Saturday night was real fun navigating through both the Irish and Cubs fans. Keep in mind that some of these Cubs fans were on their fourth straight night of celebrating or trying hard to catch up.
PS We were actually in Soldier Field when I posted that, with tickets we had bought many many months ago, well before anyone thought the Cubs would make it to the World Series. As a huge rugby fan, it meant way more to me to witness the historic first time upset defeat of NZ by Ireland as part of the largest attendance of a rugby match in the US ever (62,300), than to be a fair weather baseball fan.
I bet LOL. Still, glad you had fun. Any kind of amazing sporting match is worth going to and experiencing.... then the after party!
