Im not talking about whether they turn out well or not. Single mothers or single fathers has made adults out of children, so I'm not doubting that. I'm talking about whether would they miss the love of a mother or the discipline of a father.
(Which there is nothing wrong with, just as there is nothing wrong with sleeping around as long as you're safe and responsible about it)

I don't think they would miss that, especially since it's definitely possible for men to love their children and for women to discipline their children. The way you describe the gender roles of two parents sounds pretty rigid and doesn't apply to lots of heterosexual couples. For example, me personally, I would not say my dad is the one giving out the discipline usually lol
