Boo Hoo, I'm sorry a post is gonna take you more than 1 minute to read it, maybe sitting down to read a post for 5-10 minutes would be a nice change of pace from how the RMB is, you should try it. Have some tea while you do it, clip your toenails, do anything that will make you actually engage in other's long RPs because you are despicable.

I'm not saying post length is required with quality RP, but it is generally correlated. People who take the time to right detailed posts also typically take the time to think about their characters and the consequences of their actions. In my mind, that's what makes RP interesting. I'd cite Prydania's For The King to Valhalla and the Sartinaynia Story Arc as exceptionally good examples here in TNP.

When I use to do Middle Ages RP back when Yahoo Groups was a thing (Im Old Sue ME) I once did a two page backstory on the Inn Keeper i was playing just so the other players could understand my intended goal with the character.
