As soon as the whistle fires, 35 balloons were released from one destroyer, and a signal was given to fire at the balloons when they were high enough.

The anti-air cannons fires upon the balloons, being simulated as enemy aircraft. They manage to take down 15, allowing Furonistani destroyers to do the rest.

From one of the Furonistani destroyers, its Captain orders to test the mixed response anti aircraft system. 10 baloons are taken down by manned conventional cannons, while the other 10 are taken down by the robot-controlled laser cannons.

Next, from another destroyer, 40 very cheap underwater drones are sent to move around the Hiramian and Furonistani fleets in two equal groups of 20 each. These drones are supposed to behave as enemy submarines.

The Furonistani fleet fires 20 anti submarine missiles, missing only one of the drones. An additional missile destroys it, thought.

The other 20 drones still surround the Hiramian fleet.

Moreover, the Inkopolitian Defense Forces, upon agreement with the Russian Armed Forces, have initiated a series of joint military drills in Inkopolitia's territorial waters, alongside Russian military generals teaching new Inkopolitian soldiers so they become better at combat. With this, Inkopolitia has requested to purchase several types of Russian military equipment, including arms, destroyers, aircraft, and coastal batteries, but also including tanks, AFVs, etcetera. Inkopolitian military scientists will help the Russian Empire to optimize these weapons for Inkling use, should they need help.

Inkopolitian approval rates, due to finally reaching an agreement that can benefit both nations, have vastly risen as a result, from 44% to a staggering 86%. This approval rate is helped by the Empress herself publicly speaking of how pleased she is with the agreements that have been come to, though exactly what these agreements are, she did not articulate to the public. Those who worship her, a quickly increasing part of the population, completely back her words due to their faith. Of course, most of those across the Empire also believe in the words of the Empress and are willing to set aside past grudges and welcome their Inkling neighbors with open arms.

Russian military advisors, along with Generals of the Army, Admirals of the Navy, and Admirals of the Air Force are dispatched to Inkopolitia to help train its military forces for more efficient combat, as well as to train them to operate vehicles and other equipment that is scheduled to be delivered to the Inkopolitian military from Russia.

The Empire has agreed to the transfer of a classified number of Navy Destroyers to the Inkopolitian Navy, as well as cruisers, an initial 7 battleships, and 2 aircraft carriers. The Empire has also agreed to the sale of Russian arms, anti aircraft suites, and coastal batteries, as well as to the development of weaponry and armor specifically designed for the Inkopolitian military. These weapons will be built to work more efficiently with the Inkling and Octoling body design to reduce unnecessary energy loss.

All of this is to be done at a discounted price of an initial 30%, though this is expected to increase the longer this alliance lasts.

It should work this way: Furonistani vessels form two columns that are able to fire simultaeously at enemy vessels surrounding them. Meanwhile, Hiramian vessels should go between those two columns and take down any and all enemy aircraft that may approach the fleets.

_{| Immediately upon the launch of missiles from Inkopolitia, warnings went off like fireworks all over the nation. Command bunkers, naval bases and airfields alike readied SAMs and CIWS units for an attack that never came. Instead, detonations were detected in the high atmosphere, and satellites were noted as missing after the explosions. Thankfully, none were Artherian but the mental damage was still there. Questions flew through every officials mind: was this saber rattling? A warning? A sign? An omen? As such, approximately ten minutes after the detonations occurred Guardian Batteries were ordered to active and prepare for a highly unlikely invasion and bases were as well. Fighters were scrambled and the Scylla-class boats put to sea quickly.
A very unhappy Barnes ordered the Obliteration back to port to resupply. And to prepare. They say that you should speak softly and carry a big stick. The Obliteration is a giant stick. Humongous. He quickly thought up a plan. Have a few naval exercises in the strait, rattle our own saber. And then bug out and basically say your move. Except for one thing. The Obliteration was needed for Texas. There was a less militaristic option.
Sanctions. Good old sanctions.
Yes, he thought as he summoned his economic advisers, this should do it. He convened with them for good half an hour before having this issued publicly.}
