How about yours? Are there not many nations active in China? No one is really talking on the rmb.

It’s quite as usual. It was once active but the inactivity died down leading to less members of the RMB discussing other topics which is sadly a graveyard really. I hope in the future that it’ll be active one time.

It was once raided by The Communist Bloc and I think The Black Hawks but we managed to kick them out even though I wasn’t around there

That’s completely fine ☺️, we all do but it’s a matter of time whether the Founder is willing to make China active and bring out elections and such.

We are always happy to be friends with our fellow friends in the Southern region of Asia! 🇨🇳/🇹🇼 — 🇮🇳

Hello everyone! :) How are you doing?
Wanted to play a corporate bordello and when I found out that Foxconn/Hon Hai owner Terry Gou was running for presidency in Taiwan in 2020, I decided it would be fun to try out a "Hon Hai Clique".

Very nice :) It’d be interesting in seeing one.

I find it very interesting that you guys (with the name China) that you are talking about Taiwan.
Now, please do not get me wrong here, I respect you guys and would like to know what your guys's opinions are of Taiwan?

I’d like you to refrain from calling it ‘Taiwan’, Taiwan is a province of China. Many get confused with ‘Taiwan’ and therefore think there is a place a called ‘Taiwan’ when it is an island province of China.

I’m typically in favour of the Republic of China but I sometimes lean towards the Communist Party of China mostly in their government or their economic output.

As for Taiwan Province, it is too liberal, and the fault lies on either Chiang Ching-kuo who mistakenly chosen a Taiwan Movement supporter, Lee Teng-hui (His Japanese name was Iwasato Masao) who hid his thoughts well like a sly fox for 10 years...

The irony is that if Iwasato Masao had died in 2000, mainland Chinese would look back on him as one of Taiwan’s last Chinese patriots.

I have no idea why anyone would trust Iwasato Masao. The guy was a Japanese Imperialist, to a Chinese Communist, to a KMT leader, before finally ending up as a Taiwanese independence activist.

This guy is so great at flip-flopping, that
even Ke Wenzhe is child’s play in comparison.

That is an interesting angle to look at it as.
So, basically you are trying to say that you think Taiwan is part of China.

My thought differ a bit from yours because I think that Taiwan should get its independence and freedom. I think of Taiwan as its own separate nation.
But, I respect your view as well.

I prefer not to comment as I might want to visit China (in whichever way you want to interpret that country) at some point in time. 😅

EDIT: I'm not Chinese by the way.

You do notice that the majority of the population in Taiwan Province are descendants of Ming and Qing Dynasties including ROC settlers?

There is no way that ‘Taiwan’ can be independent at all, since the Republic of China Constitution prohibits any movement relating to separatism. Any act of separatism is an act of treason against China in any matter whatsoever. :)

Been to China, it was indeed a wonderful experience :)) September are the best days in visiting China!

That’s interesting, I didn’t know that.

Hey ChiCon, should we re-establish the region or seek other regions in possibly merging with other Chinese-themed regions across NationStates(?)

Sadly the Taiwan region (Long since changed founders; thanks to the newly established founder who didn't preserve the region itself to originality; Kuan Yin simply replaced the original founder of Taiwan Yu the great...

I believe we should try to encourage people in coming to our region, and see if we can bring the activity back with a possibility of bringing back old members of the region itself! Possibly invite our real-friends into coming here who may be interested in Chinese culture or other aspects relating to that...

But obviously, we'd need to establish something else first for our region; possibly we could decorate our WFE and tweak a little bit for it(?) or re-establish our Constitution to how it was originally beforehand or should we re-make one to suit our region for the best interests of our people? Then, later on, we can decide on adopting a flag after everything is sorted out!

Hey, there, Guomindang. ChiCon and Zhong Hua Min Zu along with any other old timers might know me as Zhou Enlai Lovers, or more recently Taiqiong (I think?). Either way, this nation's player has often been around in this region.

We've really tried to set up activity. I even managed to find the old forum for this region (if you google it you might find it, but that forum is dead). People have tried to save this region in the past, only ending in failure. Fact is, there is no interest in actually doing anything with the place. That Zhong Hua Min Zu still logs in in the first place is commendable by itself.

This region has been around for many, many years. And it has managed to remain on NS despite so many players becoming inactive and ceasing to exist (the policy NS has of deleting an account after 30 days, with accounts never truly disappearing for good).

As such... You might want to try another region if you're into the "making a Constitution" and nation-building aspect of the game. Or you might as well write everything yourself and TG Zhong Hua Min Zu to see if he'll add it to the RMB.

Either way, I doubt even ChiCon is active anymore. It'll literally be you and you alone.

Me? I'm too busy playing NS cards lol. Might not even log in for weeks until it's time to card farm.

Speaking of which, boooo

The Revolution will not die, so long as the people of this cult republic keep loving Zhou Enlai!

It is nice to see old friends such as Zhou enlai lovers back in this region. I am currently watching this region afar from The Red Guards as Mao tse tung. I hope that we can again get more activity within the region and resume building the region into a great one.
