"Comrade Captain, what are your orders?" asked the communications officers, interrupting the Captain's thought.

"Tell them we will assist them if they are in trouble. Inform of the situation to the APF Limbe. That vessel needs to be towed to a safe place ASAP."

"RBV Golov, we receive you. This is APF Malabo of the Furstian People's Navy. You are located on 4º 15' North. 6º 21' West. You are on West African territorial waters. Surface immediately and we will be able to assist you. Over."

"Give me the radio" the Commander ordered as he took the radio,

"Negative, being submerged is the only thing keeping the reactor cool, we were to sail around Africa and back to St.Andrewsburg with a new reactor to test it when it began to overheat. if we surface the reactor might go nuclear or contaminate the whole ship, we're attempting repairs but right now it's stable as best as we can have it, we're heading for a friendly port, over?" the commander replied.

"Sir, what we would do if they still want us to surface?" the XO asked.

"Have the DC crew go into the reactor with gear on, if we surface they can clam they manage to cool the reactor but shutting it down but now we have little power," the Commander replied.

"Yes sir," the XO said and left the bridge, a moment later the Damage Control team went into the reactor with hazmat gear.

"This is Captain Héctor Antwegu of the APF Malabo. I presume that it was the Russoslav Captain speaking just now, so I'll be frank with you.

Captain, you have a duty to your crew.

If your reactor is indeed close to the point of meltdown, you should ascend while you still have power, before you sink to the bottom. I believe that you are aware that if your emergency repairs happen to fail and that thing does melt, you'll be trapped in an underwater radioactive grave and no one will come down to rescue anyone of you.

Ascend immediately and we will rescue you, then we can deal with whatever problems your vessel has. I can guarantee that my country will help you. But this whole talk will mean nothing if you do not surface."

"Stand by for surface, all crew prepare to surface, damage control prepare the reactor for surface condition," the commander ordered.

"Make depth 000 feet dive aye," the Pilot said. soon the submarine surfaces.

"Halt the ship, bring all men except for damage control out on the deck," the commander ordered

"Aye sir," the XO replied. Soon men flooded out of the submarine.

"Sir, we have a problem, Damage control discovered that those depths charged damaged the screw," the XO whispered to the Commander.

"S*it, alright thank you XO, this is the Golov, we've surfaced."

"This is Petrel-1, we have visual confirmation of the RBV Golov. They are surfacing now." one of the helicopters informed the bridge

"Captain, SCRAM the reactor and we'll begin rescuing your men. Then, we'll take care of your submarine and tow it somewhere where it can be safely repaired."

Moments later, the destroyer and its helicopters were near the Russoslav vessel. Slowly, the crew of the damaged submarine was being evacuated to the APF Malabo. Other ships were now aware of the incident. The Russoslav sailors had to be decontaminated and given new clothes, as a precautionary measure.

Protesters Clash At Reich's Palace!

Earlier today, violence erupted as Republicanists and Monarchists clashed after what is being considered by many a day of chaos. Police have thankfully been able to restore order and disperse both the competing protests but not before both sides turned a quiet Thursday into a day filled with blood, tear gas and beatings.

It's been reported by Police that at roughly noon, members of the Republicanists countered a group of young Monarchists and brutally assaulted them. As Police and Emergency Services arrived, news of the attack quickly spread amongst both sides and tensions rose. as a result, Riot units began to push both sides away from Reich's Palace in an attempt to create a larger divided.

Before they could, however, bystanders tell us that Monarchists refused to move. Causing many Republicanists to believe that they too didn't have to. It's unknown who sparked the initial first clash, but it's being reported that Riot services spotted large numbers of people rushing barriers and the like.

Roughly an hour after the attack on the young Monarchists, both sides reported countless clashes resulting in roughly ten injuries. Shockingly four of the ten are Russoslavan citizens attending college in Eraus while another is an American (Imperial Eagle) News Reporter.

Police have stated that the Foreigners involved were present at the protests, however, only the Russians suffered major injuries. Amongst the countless injuries and arrests made, Police said they will be investigating how this truly sparked and charging those involved.

As that's all we currently know, we'll keep you in the loop as Police release more information and as more Bystanders come out and tell us their story.

Hours later

"Sonar Contact, from the screen we've confirmed it's West African." the Sonar officer said.

"What's the ship?" the Captain asked.

"Confirmed, Military Merchant vessel, Possibly a landing craft tank," the Sonar Officer Answered.

"Good, once we get a good solution have the torpedo room fire," the captain ordered

"Solution 95% sir," the Sonar Officer added.

"Have the torpedo room fire, remember to remain in ultra-quiet and under the Thermal duct, we'll be undetectable that way," the Captain ordered.

"Tube 1, Torpedo away," the Torpedo room said. The Captain watched the screen as the computer tracked the Torpedo and the enemy vessel.

"Sir, Sonar Contact breaking up, we sunk her," the Sonar Officer reported.

"Good, now let's disappear," the Captain ordered as the Rodina sails away from the burning Western afrikan ship.

We thank you for assisting our sailors. The crew we performing tests on a new reactor and were to sail around Africa and return to St.Andrewsburg when we lost contact. If the ship does not need repairs or is not in need of decontamination we ask if they can sail and return to Russoslava for a refit of it's reactor.

BREAKING: Intermarium votes to join the EFTO

Earlier today the Federal Assembly of Intermarium voted in favour of the Federal Republic's membership in the EFTO. The voting itself had been preceded by a heated discussion in both houses of the Federal Assembly, where several opposition Councillors voiced their concerns regarding the EFTO and Intermarium's membership in that organisation. Nevertheless, given the ruling coalition's majority in both houses of the Federal Assembly, the voting itself ended up decisively in favour of Intermarium's accession to the EFTO.

Chair Wiśniewska's government is now expected to officially submit Intermarium's application to the EFTO. Shortly after the vote, the Chair has told us that she welcomes the Federal Assembly's decision and that she firmly believes that every Intermarian, even those opposition Councillors who were against Intermarium's accession earlier today, will in few years time see that we are all better off precisely because of our membership in the organisation.

Western afrika - Operation "Scorpion"
Second week

The special operations CTAM Force of the Furstian People's Army has been urgently airlifted to the city of Abidjan. The entirety of the 1st Army Corps is now West African territory and has received orders to secure other cities in the southern part of the country.

The Furstian People's Navy and the Furstian People's Air Force continue to patrol the skies and waters of West Africa, as they carry onwards with their mission of preventing any foreign military actions that might result in further destabilization.

Afrikan Task Force

As elements of the Task Force neared West Afrikan waters, a number of ships had been detected which the Erayii captain immediately attempted to contact. They sadly hadn't been informed of the ongoings between the Furstians and the Slavs, or they would have likely congratulated their Socialists counterparts.

Instead, they proceeded to inform them about their humanitarian mission and the fact that they likely wouldn't have stayed for long. However, the Captain understood just how they'd likely feel about Foreign elements moving in towards their Neighbor. If the tables were turned the Erayii ships would have been doing the exact same thing.

Dolmabahçe Street was a sight to behold as the millions who call capital city of İstanbul home bared witness to a massive show of strength by Sultana Aysun Enver the First. Thousands upon thousands of Ottoman soldiers marched down the world famous street all saluting as they passed Dolmabahçe Palace where the Sultana watched on with pride saluting her army. The parade was not exclusive to the ground, as Ottoman Airforces and the Ottoman Navy as also on display, with the flagships of the Ottoman Navy docked outside Dolmabahçe Palace. The Airforces turning out with the airshow of the decade, Ottoman soldiers hanging off helicopter ladders as they landed in the yard of the Palace, chanting the Ottoman War Oath at the orders of the Sultan.
