The Imperial Ball, Mogadishu
One of the last guests to arrive, King Francis and Princess Sophia make their entrance. Observing the grand spectacle that is the ball room and the crowd, they would exchange chatter about the area.
"Francis, please do not go crazy. This is not Thunderdome anymore." Sophia would add, reminding Francis of his old days as a 90's raver.
Francis, with a grin, would embrace Sophia and nod at her. "And this is not Kandyland. This is indeed, a civilized venture."
Both of them would approach Empress Valeria of 
Infiny, with Francis holding a tall present.
"Your highness, it is a pleasure to meet you!" Francis gestures kindly towards Valeria, in a civilized matter, kind to the feelings of Sophia.
Valeria: Your Royal Majesties! It is my deepest pleasure to welcome you to Mogadishu. I trust that you have had a comfortable journey here? I hope that the celebrations and the ball have thus far made a good impression on you. Please, tell me, how is everything in Belagia? From the looks of it, many nations, Infiny included, could learn a thing or two of the beautiful and prosperous nation.

King Francis would greet the Empress. Then he would reply.
"Ah, yes. I just came back from touring several farms, we are funding efforts into building multi-leveled vertical greenhouses and other advanced farming methods to make the most out of what farmland we have. And to have a prosperous nation? Simply just.. Let people release their energy on the weekends and make them work as hard as possible during the weekdays. That's how we can afford all of what we do. That's why everybody sees us as a place to rave away your stresses."
Sophia would interject.
"Francis has a pretty odd way of having fun. Even for a man in his fifties, he still goes to the warehouses." Francis would reply, "Warehouses only. The real classics." Both of them would chuckle..
"Anyways, we have a present for you, your highness." Francis would show the Empress a tall, slim box wrapped in royal wrappings.
West African Updates - 001
- A new tax has been introduced on the citizens of West Africa. For each citizen with an stable income, the federal government will take three to five percent of the total check. This tax will go recouping the money lost from the West African Civil War. A motion to print more money was put forth but quickly shot down due to the fact that the West African Zull would rapidly decrease in value.
- After an extensive search and review of the documentation against 
Furstia, provided by -greater australia-, Congress has decided to condemn the nation of Furstia. Despite the recent help due to the Furstian intervention, which West Africa is very thankful for, the government of West Africa cannot support a government that supports radical terrorism. A talk with President Madaki and the leader of Furstia, a talk that was about to be offered, has now been cancelled entirely.
- Baako Achebe has been appointed director for the newly formed Department of Justice. The DOJ has now replaced the Ministry of Domestic Affairs, which had the same job.

The United Kingdom has been one of the nations that is greatly concerned with the change in our climates and the environment. Therefore, we have been a supporter for actions to reduce waste for a long time now. However, we also noticed the indifference other nations show towards this subject of great urgency and importance.
I am therefore happy to see that yourself is interested into taking actions that prevent further waste from accumulating in our oceans and other places, especially if these products have a relatively short lifespan and are used but once.

Economic Improvement Bill of 2019 Recession
I. Department of Treasury shall start selling treasury bonds.
II. The Department of Commerce using money from selling the treasury bonds will be used to support and invest into businesses. Providing cheap capital.
III. Those within the 1 Mile zone of the Dirty Bomb Attack will be reimbursed for their property they lost.
IV. Set up a temporary department within the Department of Health and Human Services to help with insurance claims.

Government invites new party into the coalition, and begins work on the second phase of reforms
After the collapse of the Student Coalition, the Liberal coalition has secured their stability with the Socialist Workers Party joining the coalition and cooperating with the creation of a welfare state. Although the plans were originally meant to create a universal unemployed benefit and a couple of other welfare policies and healthcare credit vouchers, radical elements of all the parties have hijacked this particular policy creation to instead direct the "National Welfare Bill" which has been dumped and replaced by the new bill brought up by Senator Sarah Niadora of the Socialist Workers Party. The bill, named after William Beveridge and his report in 1942, focuses on an extensive Welfare policy based on (OOC Meant to be based on Britain post WW2, but does that happen in Orange-bourgogne's history?) with a National Healthcare Assistance that provides universal healthcare to the whole country. Along with this, other welfare based policies such as greater disability support and a state pension. Although some of these aspects have existed in a lot of the country, this standardised system will be introduced nationwide. This has caused fierce opposition from other parties in opposition, with questions even coming from the SDP and NLC with some Senators concerned about the extent in which the state is going to oppose the old decentralised policies. Although, members of the government have brought ways in which to fund these policies, such as the use of the oil that is nominally controlled by the cities, but show's ownership is now under the government.
