Official correspondence – Romanovan VISA policy update
~ Department of State for External Affairs

Following the recent statement issued by the Foreign Office of Romanovskaya concerning an update of the VISA policy, the Department was happy to hear that henceforth, Orange-Bourgognians are able to travel to the Principality by using a VISA on arrival rather than a regular pre-issued VISA.

Appreciating this step towards closer relations between our countries, and easier travel for both our citizens, the Secretary of State proposed before the Cabinet that the favour be now returned to all Romanovas. After a short debate within Cabinet, the Prime Minister gave her approval to this new policy, which was thereby adopted immediately.

Besides allowing Romanovas who obtain a VISA on arrival, it will also be made possible for them to enter legally through an electronic application known as an E-VISA. Those who seek to make use of this application, may enter Orange-Bourgogne for up to two months, after which the term can be extended once more. It should be noted though, that the E-VISA will not permit its users to enter any of the United Kingdom’s Overseas Territories.

Prince Abdullah To Be Wed!

The Royal Family have just announced that Prince Abdullah, the heir apparent, has proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Dalia Adibah. Prince Abdullah and Ms. Adibah reportedly met when he took over the directorship of the Royal Levantine Foundation, an organization run by and funded by the Royal Family that performs humanitarian aid missions and gives scholarships to Levantine university students both studying abroad and at home.

The couple, while reportedly dating for several years, have remained rather private about their personal affairs, and outside of public appearances at charity galas and formal ceremonies, are not often pictured together, or even separately.

The date for the Royal Wedding has been set as August 2nd, which may seem soon, but according to a spokesman for the Royal Family, the Prince and Ms. Adibah have been engaged for several months leading up to this formal announcement.

The best wishes of the Levantine People go out to the Prince and his fiancée.

A fierce debate occurred in the Senate when the topic was brought up. It is well known that Belagians do love to party often with questionable substances, however in the end a vote was held and the motion passed. From this day citizians of Belagia can now visit The Republic without any Visa, however the government would like to kindly remind tourists apart from marijuana most recreational drugs are illegal. King Nkemdilim Rejects Talks

With fighting still occurring across the nation, calls for talks from Aysi Amaechi, leader of the Republican Movement, have become more frequent. This is the first time she called on King Nkemdilim, himself. He, however, has refused to talk to her because "she is a terrorist to West Africa" and "she is a delusional woman that thinks she can challenge a royal family". This has shot support with people that supported the Loyalists. The country still stands at a stalemate.

"Alright, Halcón-1. Proceeding with interception orders. Eko-1, over and out."

Minutes later, as they were approaching the West African coast, 4 jets and 4 helicopters had been intercepted by 10 Su-30MKI.

Board of Rites

The Board of Rites has updated its visa travel policy for a number of foreign states:

As per the Visa Edict of 1923, all foreign nationals are required to present a visa, alongside appropriate travel documents for entry into Qing China. This also includes people's of Qing ethnicity who bear foreign passports. Most visas allow for durations from 7 days to 4 years, and have been traditionally issued by the Board of Rites in physical form, which have a stub that can be placed within the passport as proof of registration.

The Board has recently overturned the 1923 ruling.

Persons of Manchu, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, and Mongolian ethnicities can be permitted to stay in Qing China for up to 30 days visa-free. Additionally, they can apply for an 'Imperial Ethnic Travel Waiver', which is valid for 2 years and grants free travel for its bearer.

All other foreigners can apply for a visa directly upon arrival free of charge. Previous visa requirements have been officially removed, and will be effective from October onwards. Holders of current visas or waivers will continue to be valid.

Additionally, Wing China has opened up its border policy for asylum seekers, migrants, immigrants and refugees. Those escaping from conflict and seeking refuge in the Qing can apply for an 'Imperial Asylum Application', which effectively grants residency if thy bearer can certify that their origins are from a conflict zone. The IAA is valid for 3 years, after which holders will be required to take a citizenship test. Successful test takers will be granted citizenship, while unsuccessful takers can reapply in intervals of 3 years at a fee of $50 USD. Their IAA documents will remain to be valid until deportation or citizenship is granted.

Migrants can apply for subsidised services which apply to covering sections of rent, utility costs and medical insurance if they choose to settle in currently designated 'Settlement Zones'. Currently, these zones include the Ryukyu Islands, the Amur Basin, and the Kurile Islands.

Dakar Checkpoint Alpha, Rebel Dakar Region, West Africa

As the rebel guards were checking people coming in and out of the city, mainly residents or workers, they noticed something out of the ordinary. There was a woman that was dressed unlike the locals. She waited in the line, as everyone does, and walked up to the guards. "Name and business?" asked one guard. She hesitated for a second at the harshness in the guard's voice. "Zeynab Diya, Furstia. I am here to speak to Aysi Amaechi." she answered.

The guard squinted at her in disbelief. "No one is allowed to see President Amaechi. If you don't have a reason to be here other than that, you may turn around now." said the other guard. The guard that initiated the whole exchange spoke before anything else happened. "You can enter, go directly to the white and red building you'll see on your right. If you have papers, give it to them. Otherwise, they'll escort you through this checkpoint.

Agent Diya walked to the building which was only a few meters away. She walked in and was welcomed by an older man behind a counter. "Kabbo! Business?" he asked. She looked at him and back out the door. "The guards, they told me to come in here and produce paperwork. I'm looking for Aysi Amaechi." she repeated. The man nodded. He reached his hand out for the paperwork. Agent Diya handed over a copy of the paperwork. The man was reading over it. "Iśoro kekere. I can't read this. It's in Spanish." he said as he chuckled. "I need English, Yoruba, or Igbo." he continued. She looked in her bag. "Sorry about that, here." she said as she handed the English copy to him. The man looked the document up and down. He kept shaking his head.

"Alright, o dara, I'll have a convoy for you. We'll have to transport you in the dark, so to say." he said. She nodded at him. The man then turned to a radio with a microphone. "Mérin meje, beere fun ókó ayọkẹlẹ si ipo ti Aare. Aṣoju pataki, awọn iwe ti a pese, Furstié." he said.

BREAKING: Intermarium votes to join the EFTO

Earlier today the Federal Assembly of Intermarium voted in favour of the Federal Republic's membership in the EFTO. The voting itself had been preceded by a heated discussion in both houses of the Federal Assembly, where several opposition Councillors voiced their concerns regarding the EFTO and Intermarium's membership in that organisation. Nevertheless, given the ruling coalition's majority in both houses of the Federal Assembly, the voting itself ended up decisively in favour of Intermarium's accession to the EFTO.

Chair Wiśniewska's government is now expected to officially submit Intermarium's application to the EFTO. Shortly after the vote, the Chair has told us that she welcomes the Federal Assembly's decision and that she firmly believes that every Intermarian, even those opposition Councillors who were against Intermarium's accession earlier today, will in few years time see that we are all better off precisely because of our membership in the organisation.

We believe that now is the time to extend our horizons and go forward to a bright new future.

Our invitation extends to any country interested in creating a friendship with our nation. We invite ambassadors, government delegations and heads of state to come for official visits to our shining capital Belgorod, to engage in talks for the future of our relations. We hope that this invititation will find relevant parties well, and we look forward to receiving any willing parties.

Best wishes and greetings,

President Aleksandar Vrubtchev

Your Excellency,

We would be happy to engage in diplomatic relations with your nation. Our nations have deep similarities in people and in culture, and we would be remiss if we were not to accept your offer to accept the hand of cooperation that you have shown here. As such, we would like to send Ms. Maryna Kikoïne as the Infinian ambassador to the Commonwealth of Slavic States, and we will welcome the ambassador chosen to represent your nation in Infiny. We would also like to point out that there will be celebrations in Mogadishu on the 23rd of July in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Infiny's reunification. You are, of course, very much welcome to attend.

Sincerely,

Xitan Minenko
Minister of Foreign Affairs
