With the condemnation of Furstia, the government of West Africa has stepped back from the open trades and other deals that was once presented between the nations. Though this has been done in the past with the condemnation, the citizens of West Africa are actively against the condemnation, and are even trying to reverse the decision. Even through the condemnation, citizens of West Africa choose to still do business with Furstians. The government has asked citizens to stop conducting such business with the nation, but it was to no avail. The government has ordered National Police to patrol the border crossings to make sure business is not being done. While that is occurring, however, the Congress of West Africa is looking to overturn the decision of condemnation.
The Chizoba Azikiwe Memorial International Airport, which will be located in Republic City, will be establishing a main hub for Azikiwe Airlines. Requests for other hubs for other nations can be established through the airport. Chizoba International will be the twelfth major international airport in West Africa. The construction of the airport will begin at the beginning of Phase 2 of Republic City construction.
The national age has been increased after a law has been passed prohibiting the sale of tobacco products to persons under the age of 18. The previous age was 16. Previously, provinces were able to set their own ages for things such as alcohol and tobacco products, but the federal government of West Africa has made the age for all states 18. No decision has been made on the sale of alcohol. That age remains at 18.

Board of War
The Board of War has begun work on a laser-based simulation system for training purposes, which could be used in combat drills. It is said that its implementation would allow for proper engagement techniques and tactical maneuvering skills in safe, simulated surroundings, which could lead to better training outcomes and knowledge integration for soldiers during drills.
Based on the MILES laser system used by the American forces, the new system, dubbed "TS-L" (Training System-Laser), makes use of lasers and blank cartridges to simulate actual battle.
Prior to combat, each soldier is outfitted with small, flexible and wearable laser sensors, which can be placed across their bodies under their uniforms. Firearms will be outfitted with a barrel-mounted laser module, which, alongside a blank-firing adaptor and an integrated receiver, will fire a laser burst out of the barrel once fired. The laser sensors will then be able to detect when its wearer has been "hit" by the laser, and the exact placement of the "shot" will determine the soldier's damage input. The TS-L system will also display which area of the body has been "hit", so medical officers can attempt to rescue their compatriots with the relevant medical procedures.
The injury simulation aspect of the TS-L is adaptive and based on AI machine learning, and provides accurate outcomes. The TS-L is able to determine the amount and magnitude of a simulated "hit" depending on the supposed round of ammunition used, alongside any body armour or mitigating effects (such as range or obstructions) in the way. For instance, a "graze" on a soldier's shoulder could be easily repairable by medics and can be "signed off" by removing the "hit", while a "direct hit" to a soldier's stomach would put the soldier out of the fight permamently.
TS-L systems place a heavy emphasis on providing realistic results. For example, a TS-L system on a QBZ-95 rifle cannot damage a tank, but can harm foot infantry, whereas smaller caliber pistol rounds can "kill" unarmoured foes but not armoured ones. Each individual TS-L system carries data on the target, the wearer's weapon and ammunition type. It is able to simulate factors such as air resistance, muzzle velocity and armour penetration. Add-ons that utilize simulated artillery, rocket and missile strikes are also planned, to add in an unexpected element to training and to ensure that soldiers remain aware of the threat surrounding unseen elements. Training grounds will be outfitted with surround sound systems within walls or under the ground, which can simulate sound effects of incoming ordnance, to ensure soldiers have a chance to react.
The laser sensors on an individual soldier's body can also detect any life-saving measures a soldier attempted, such as bracing, finding cover or sheltering themselves, and adequately reflect in terms of damage output.
Vehicles can also be outfitted with laser sensors, alongside aircraft and MANPADS/MANPATS weapons. TS-L systems can also be fitted on anti-air or anti-vehicular weapons, and can simulate actual strikes. Similarly, a countermeasures system will also be installed in future iterations, which is able to simulate, depending on the countermeasure, whether the weapon "hits" or not.
The TS-L will be brought out to use by mid-2020, with its inaugural drill held in January.

Sultan and Caliph Turan Osman the First addresses the world
Speaking from the balcony of Topkapi Palace, roars of applause break out for the Sultan approaching the balcony. Ottoman flags, as well as flags in Islamic scripture waving across the streets of Istanbul as the Sultan speaks.
"Today is a day that will live in immortality, the Caliphate has entered the minds and hearts of the Ottoman People. Now armed with full nuclear capabilities to strike down on our enemies across the world, wherever they may be. It is our strength that entered the parliaments of the world, that strikes fear in the faithless hearts of our enemies. No longer will our people be held down, no longer will they be told they cannot succeed by lesser people's. Years from now, some of them will look back and ask if they made the right choice. If they made the most of the opportunities given. Over the course of our life we have found things are not fair, that things happen that we do not deserve. And that are not warranted. But we put our head down and fought them. Never give up, don't give in, don't back down. As the armies of the Islamic World are with you! And never stop doing what is right, the holy battle of our greatness over the world. Nothing worth doing has ever come easy, the fight of this caliphate to succeed across the world is one of those fights. In our hearts are inscribed the values of faith, empire and caliphate. It is time to turn our dreams into reality. The Ottoman State is a true nation of Islam, from the Osman Gazi, Ertugrul Gazi, Fatih Sultan and to Suleyman the Magnificent. All follow the credo of the Ottoman people. Because in the Caliphate we worship Allah. And that is why we proudly proclaim, we are the Eternal Empire the stands for the faithful, not the faithless. The Ottoman Empire is the story of an adventure that began big dreams and humble beginnings. The next generation of Ottoman leaders, never ever give up. Their will be times you will want to quit, never give up, for those who believe in you and care about you. The more who tell you it can't be done, the more you should be determined to do it. Treat the word impossible is nothing more than motivation. Relish the opportunity to be the follow in the footsteps of our Imperial Caliphate, that you will change a broken system. That you will lead our people into the next chapter. And always have the courage to be a Muslim to be a Ottoman soldier that will never let the tricresent fall into the hands of the infidels, the Ottoman Empire is better when the plans of the faithful are put into action. Tonight we begin a new chapter, when our story goes from tonight to the Istanbul, and stretches across the world. We will build a future where our children have the courage to chase our dreams, regardless of what our enemies say. We will have the confidence to speak our hearts, and the love of this country. As long as you are a Ottoman, you will not fail! Loyal to the Empire, to the Caliphate, our best days are yet to come! We were once told we are below average, that the Ottomans were the poorly educated. The filth of society, the unwanted. We have been miscast by the rest of the world as cockroaches. But today is us with the weapons, it is us with the nuclear weapons to wipe out the world if dare step in our path. We are great, our people are great, all Ottomans. The Ottoman Economy will be bigger, and stronger than before. We had grown tired of our nation being torn apart by other outsiders, that era is over! No one said the struggle for our survival would be easy, and we won. We will never be stopped. I will be the greatest president to ever serve this nation, red hot economy will be born. Our enemies will tremble before us, the Ottomans will be strong. Ottomans will stand tall against all comers. I am one of you, you are one of us. No longer will the outsiders rule this nation, they don't change the world. The Ottomans do! For many years my brothers and sisters, we were like a prisoner. Blind folded, fending off attacks from each side. Not knowing who my enemy was, not knowing what we had done to deserve this. An innocent victim of the evil world around us. We have all suffered like this, the Empire and our faith more than any of us. Yet there is no need to hide in darkness. The turning point in our lives came when the blindfold was ripped of our eyes as a the era of Turan entered the empire, showing us our enemy. The outsiders! We recognize it as their greed that has become a plague in this nation, but what we have one, and will live on for thousands of years! I bless the people of the Caliphate, the Ottoman Empire, the Turkic and Islamic Worlds! May the people of the Empire stand with us! Long live the the Eternal struggle of victory!” He says placing his hand on his heart, shouting 'Tekbir!', those in the crowd shouting back 'Allahu Ekbar'. They continue to chant as the Sultan turns back, entering the palace once more. The shouts of 'Allahu Ekbar' become defining as the Sultan sits back down on his throne. Nodding to his advisers. "The time has come"

Imperial Ministry of State for External Affairs
The Kaiserliches Staatsministerium für Außenbeziehungen has moved to officially condemn the government of Furstia following allegations and evidence of their involvement in the recent attack in Sydney. Currently sanctions on Furstia are being discussed with a decision being made in the near future as to what those sanctions may entail.
We do however implore both sides of this crisis to engage in dialogue surrounding these events and should truth reveal that Furstia was implicated in the attack, that those individuals directly involved are given a fair trial that adheres to both international law and moral standards.
We ask Furstia to engage and cooperate with the international community during this Crisis. If you are truly innocent of what you have been accused, then it would shine a better light on your case if you were to cooperate and provide evidence to the contrary as part of a due legal process. At the end of the day your actions shall represent what the international community thinks of you, and if you truly are to save face and prove your innocent then it is in your best interest to work alongside the international community and bring an end to this needless conflict.

From: Raisa Petrukhina, Delegate to the World Congress for Romanovskaya
Subject: Cessation of Romanovskaya's Observer Status to the World Congress
I, Raisa Petrukhina, have been instructed by the government of the Principality of Romanovskaya to announce that we will end our observer status to the World Congress. When we originally became an observer state to the WC, it was with the intention of eventually becoming full members. However over the last few months, and after much deliberation, the government decided it would no longer proceed with becoming a full member. As such, the government also decided that there was little need to continue our observer status.
The government of Romanovskaya expresses its best wishes to the WC, the delegates and all member states. I personally would like to thank all of those I worked with since I arrived in Istanbul and I hope to meet some of you again in the future.

The Government of the Socialist Republic of Furstia has already collaborated and exposed to the international community, before The world congress, valuable and reliable information which left no doubts that the hostile accusations of any potential direct or indirect involvement of our country in the Sydney incidents, made by the Australian Government, were completely untrue and based on fabricated evidence.
We invite the Danubian Government to observe the information provided by our Government to the World Congress on the matter.
Despite those actions, the Australian Government insists on demonizing Furstia while our nation has repeatedly called for a diplomatic solution to this issue. Said petition for talks was only met with aggressive military maneuvers near our territory, with the sole purpose of escalating the situation and attempting to elicit a Furstian military response.
Finally, we invite the Danubian Government to reconsider its stance on the situation.

The CBPA Group of Singapore has been leading efforts to raise funds for the islands of the Marti Republic after Hurricane Emilia passed through. The group said they wanted to send some aid to the people of the islands such as food, water and basic necessities after the hurricane. Larissa Wang, spokesperson for the group, said the group had an original goal of $100,000 but that the goal has already been met and so they have doubled the goal to $200,000.
"With this money we will buy canned foods, water bottles, blankets, clothes and other supplies for the effected people in the Marti Republic and will ship them over there with a group of volunteers and pass the supplies out to the effected communities and also help clean up any debris."
A large number of local churches and temples have stepped up to partner with the organization and have set up donation boxes for the cause. The organization's goal is to promote peace and cooperation between the two religious societies in Singapore and promote brotherhood amongst each other and the director of the organization stated that "by helping others we achieve a sense of brotherhood and of accomplishment amongst each other and learn that we share a similar interest for the wellbeing of all people and can come together in times of need." In a surprise announcement from Mayor Lewis Zhao of Singapore City, it was declared that the city shall be donating $50,000 to the CBPAS group to further help their aid efforts. The CBPAS is expected to depart early next week for the island nation with the aid supplies and a team of around 50 volunteers.
Prime Minister Linlun Daw also took notice of the group's efforts and when asked by the Naypyidaw Branch of Irrawaddy National News to comment, he had this to say "I think what they are doing is a great thing, promoting peace and cooperation between two societies within our country while working together to help another society in need. They set a good example for the youth of our nation and for what the future can look like if we all work together for Kyawantaw."
Violence Continues in Rakhine State - Irrawaddy National News
After the passing of the safety regulations for Rakhine State in the Senate and their implementation the violence has so far continued between the ethnic communities in the state. In the last week there were forty reports of attacks on ethnic Bamars, twenty-five on ethnic Rohingya and eleven on ethnic Rakhines. One village in the far northwest of the state was reportedly completely burnt down and destroyed, with the residents fleeing towards the western border. One Rohingya resident who made it out was quoted as saying "The military, they came in the early morning in their trucks and wiped out our village, farms, everyth"-The Irrawaddy National News broadcast has been cut off, we apologize for any inconvenience, regular broadcasting services will continue later today-
After much debate, after almost two years, a decision was made by Congress on gay marriage, tribal relations, and the legalization of marijuana. The first conclusion made was made on the legalization of marijuana. The Congress of West Africa has decided to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes only right now. The choice of general legalization is still up to each state, but the federal legalization of marijuana stands at the production of medical marijuana.
The second conclusion was made on tribal relations. The Congress has decided that no land will be set aside for the tribes, but they will still be allowed to live in Northern West Africa. As long as the tribes do not try to expand further than their respective territory, they will be left alone.
The final conclusion was made on gay marriage. The Congress overwhelmingly voted in favor of gay marriage. Gay marriage was outlawed and even punishable by death in the Kingdom of West Africa, but senators and representatives wish to distance themselves from the nation's past and move forward into a more progressive era. The first same-sex marriage is planned to occur in Abidjan. Afterwards, same-sex marriage will be fully legalized on a national level.

"These vessels have served us loyally since 1980," a spokesperson for the Board said. "It will be sad to see them leave."
It is said the crew will be rotated to other vessels, and components in the 5 destroyers will be reappropriated for use in other naval vessels. It is expected to sail to Ishikari, where it will remain until 2021 as the Board performs scrapping and disposal.
"5 more destroyers will be launched soon," the Board also announced. These include 3 Type 055 destroyers, alongside 2 Type 052D destroyers of the newer 161m length variant. These destroyers are more modern than their Russian counterparts, and possess more efficient armaments and onboard combat systems.

Board of Works
The Board of Works has offered to send a humanitarian contingent of 800 aid workers, of whom are trained in medical procedures, search and rescue, and civil engineering.
Should the Marti Republic's government approve this move, the 800 aid workers can be dispatched to Havana immediately, wherein they will be able to provide medical aid, begin preliminary rezoning, demolition and replanning of damaged areas, and distribute aid materials such as medicines, food, water and other amenities. They can also be put to use for SAR functions.
