"So...did he put up a fight when you bust down the door?" A female voice asked

A man, early 50s, blew a cloud of smoke from one of the trade mark signature he was always seen with, replied in the dim light

"About as much a fat slob like him could fight. We kicked in the door to the room once the party started outside and caught him with his pants down, literally. Him and some cheap prostitute creamed like banshees once that door flew off it's hinges. We dragged him out and gave the woman a suitcase of cash to keep silent. Gin and the rest of teh team are currently giving him the works over near Fredericksburg Boss."

The woman leaned back, the dim light showing some of her features. Pale skin and hard steel grey eyes looked across the table before replying

"Good work Vodka. Well, seeing how we've taken Panama City and are currently going about the process of formally incorporating it into the Union, I want you to take a small team this time back down there and set up our Central America branch. We need eyes and ears in the region and the CAF seems to be the next place we're to snoop around in. No regime changes this time Vodka. I want intel we can act on to hunt the cartels down and prevent our latest acquisition turn into the nation's biggest drug den."

"As you so command oh might Empress, it shall be done." the man named Vodka replied with a grin as he rose from his seat to leave

"You always did have a flair for the theatric you a**. Now go on and do your job." The woman replied with a chuckle as Vodka left.

First test flight of new YAH-70 has shown that engine thrust does fall within safe levels but vibrations could cause issues with onboard systems. Further testing will be conducted before issues are fully known and fixed. Stealth features have shown promise in lowering radar cross-sections until visible with the naked eye or other optics and heat signature falls within acceptable levels. Efforts to lower it further will be undertaken as testing and design goes on. Also, it has been decided that work is to begin on a new tiltrotor drone design to be used in recon and attack. A design period of one year will take place followed by two years of testing barring any delays.

Two undercover agents of the Ministry of State Security stand near a Vauxhall Astra Mark V parked in the vicinity of a small gas station. One of them is eating "crisps" from a can while the other smokes a cigarrette.

- "You know the money we have is meant for emergencies, right?" asks the one smoking as he takes another puff.

- "I'm hungry, isn't that an emergency?"

- "You haven't stopped buying snacks since we got here..."

- "Well, they taste great. And we don't have most of these back home."

- "Because obviously most of them are full of chemicals."

- "Don't lecture me about health, Mr. Emphysema."

- "I brought these with me. It's different."

- "Don't worry, I'll let you spend a few pennies on some good western ciggs when you're done with those. I'm in charge of the inventory, don't forget that. Relax pal, everyone on a recon assignment in the west ends up spending more than what they tell."

- "Heh, like that idiot I knew, remember? The one from the American casino?"

- *smiles* "Yeah, that poor bastard, haha. Did you happen to hear something else from that?"

The agent briefly looks towards his partner and shakes his head from side to side before taking another puff of his cigarrette.

The other agent looks down and raises his eyebrows before grabbing another chip from the can. He quickly changes the subject.

- "Aren't Brits suppossed to be punctual?"

- "That's what I thought."

- "Do they know how to look for us?"

- "They know the car plate."

- "Eh, they have enough with that. They should be here any minute now."

The New Economic Plan Report

Today the Arab-African Republic of Egypt approved the New Economic Plan in the First RCC Conference. In accordance with it's plans to be fully transparent with it's citizens, the state has released this report which outlines what the New Economic Plan should entail.

- Small and medium sized SOE's (State Owned Enterprises) shall be privatized, given control to the local governments to be restructure them, or be shut down. This move is done to reduce the bloated public sector from unprofitable small and medium sized enterprises

- The complete rework of the legal and administrative procedures and costs of starting and running a businesses. The reworked system should allow for faster, easier, and cheaper registration of businesses. The procedures for businesses legal requirements, for example obtaining a construction permit, will be minimized and clarified. This will be achieved by implementing e-registration and extending the system to cover all legal requirements for businesses. This is will make it so businesses can be made available online and businesses are able to fill in forms and make payments electronically. This system will standardize costs and procedures across Egypt. Which should save the government money while generating revenue.

- The Complete reform of the Egyptian income tax system. The progressive tax should be as follows:

Up to EGP 8,000: 10%
From EGP 8,001 to 30,000: 20%
From 30,001 to 45,00: 25%
From EGP 45,001 to 200,000: 35%
Above EGP 200,000: 45%

Additionally, tarrifs and custom taxes has been reformed and streamlined to allow for easier importing of products from abroad.

- Schools and universities will be reformed to provide skills that are valued in the labor marketing, involving private sector firms in curriculum design and class activities, and placing a greater emphasis on problem solving and creative group work. Outside the educational system, public-private partnerships in vocational training and the design of active labor market programmes that shall improve workers' technical and core skills to address skill deficiencies of workers already in employment as well as foster business productivity and innovation. Additionally firms that invest in staff training will be granted government subsidies.

- Labor laws that govern hiring and firing of workers will be relaxed, while government contribution to social insurance will be increased.

- Government resources will be directed into improving SOE's in key sectors to promote healthy competition between SOE's and POE's (Privately Owned Enterprises).

- The introduction of a new minimum wage at 3,000 EGP

- The full nationalization of several companies in key sectors sectors such as banking and energy

- The Establishment of a State Monopoly on key industries of Healthcare, Education, Banking, and Energy

- Establish several State Owned gold mines in the eastern desert to take advantage of the untapped gold reserves in the Easter Desert

- Reforming Agricultural co-ops to give greater autonomy to the farmers, reduce bureaucracy and increase efficiency.

- Providing incentives to the establishment of small businesses through grants or government subsidies

The Arab-African Republic of Egypt hopes that this plan allows for the development of a strong market economy where both State Owned and Privately Owned enterprises can compete for the benefit of the regular Egyptian. The establishment of a new, higher minimum wage and reformed labor laws should protect the average worker, while encouraging businesses to hire workers without having to fear archaic laws anymore, and the new income tax system should allow for more equality between Egyptians. Overall this plan predicts to see Egypt's economy grow and have a dynamic and strong private sector in the upcoming years.

It has been made a priority by the Soviet of the Union that the peoples of the Maghreb and East Asia should begin engaging in more deep, comprehensive bilateral ties with one another. Bilateral cooperation is mutually beneficial for both our peoples, emerging from the deep potential for cooperation between us. As Egypt emerges as the regional leader in North Africa, and as we emerge as the regional powerhouse of the East, we must both work together, sooner rather than later, to construct more comprehensive schemes of cooperation that will impact trade, culture, society, technology, military affairs, and infrastructure.

The two countries mutually complement each other. Let us see a brighter future together.

The MFA of the FEUSSR has appointed Tan Meikan as the ambassador to Egypt, representing the FEUSSR. Furthermore, the FEUSSR also expresses interest in hosting cultural and academic exchange events, as well as bilateral collaboration in the field of agricultural technologies.

We are honored with those words. We have and we will always look up to the FEUSSR as an ideal for what a nation should be. We also accept the FEUSSR's proposal for a cultural and academic exchange events. Both of our great nations have birthed some of the greatest thinkers who contributed heavily to the devolpement of the known world, such as the achievements of Jang Yeong-sil who's inventions include the rain gouge and the water gouge, or Ali Moustafa Mosharafa who contributed to the devolpement of the quantum theory and theory of relativity. Sadly their work today is not recognized by the masses as they have been largely erased by colonialist nations which claimed their achievements for themselves without acknowledging the major impact Far East Asian or North African thinkers has had on the world.
Today, both nations still have the potential to produce the greatest thinkers of our time, and it is by cooperation that we can both achieve that.

We also happily welcome the collaboration in the field of agricultural technology, especially in a crucial time for Egyptian agriculture, as the nation heads towards it's New Economic Plan.

Tech Megamerger Goes Ahead

SHUNTIAN — CETC and Potevio, two of the largest IT companies in the FEUSSR, have announced a merger in a bid to create what would be one of the country's largest information technology company, with annual revenue topping $50 billion USD.

The merging of the companies would see the creation of the Far Eastern Electronics Corporation (FEEC), with many of its constituent units being suppliers to the PDF. The merger is intended to bolster the nation's resilience to UKOB sanctions, and to increase the country's self-sufficiency in information technologies. The FEEC will also be one of the only information technology suppliers which are capable of meeting the PDF's full range of needs, including networks, IT infrastructure, and electronic equipment like radar or communications sets. Other products include electronic parts and systems for precision munitions, key components for satellites in the GAIA/TITAN network, semiconductors and antennas for 5G infrastructure, as well as components needed in autonomous-driving technology. The inclusion of Potevio also means that the FEEC will be able to operate in the fields of wireless communications and security, helping supply telecommunications systems to the PDF, PSF, MNP, along with semiconductors for 5G systems.

The FEUSSR aims to make the sector more self-reliant, emphasising local advances in cutting-edge fields such as 5G, quantum communications, aerospace, and autonomous driving. With the inclusion of tech powerhouses such as Hyundai, Samsung, SMIC, LG, and SK in the country, it appears that the FEUSSR may be able to catapult itself to the forefront of hi-tech industries and society.

To follow up on the recent launches of the ASS-1, ASS-2, and ASS-3 satellites, the Asia-1 heavy lift rocket has once again made a successful launch, bringing the ASS-4 satellite into geostationary orbit. With the successful launch of the ASS-4, the "GAIA" constellation has been finally complete, marking the completion of the AU's first indigenously-designed and produced satellite navigation system.

Saigon Hall, Saigon, Viadnam, Indochina - Board of Leaders Secret Meeting (การประชุมลับของคณะผู้นำ)

State Leader Teptath Kongsangchai: Chairman Taweepak has been one of a few chairmen of this confederation that has abused his powers. We allowed the Chairman of the Confederation to have absolute power to hurry decisions that could not be made by us, but they ended up abusing their power for their own personal gain. They rarely do anything until it comes time to show face. Nakhonruang has become an island in a sense from the rest of Pathedthai and the rest of the Confederation. It is time that we take action against this abuse of power, before this union is destroyed.

State Leader Saravan Saenthavisouk: The same goes with Pathedlav. We have had next to no help from the high government of the Confederation when it comes to building up the state. It is appalling that all four states have seen a stagnation on Confederation projects. We have people that are looking for work, but they can't find any because there are no projects to work on.

State Leader Toch Veha: Kampuchia is in the same situation as Pathedthai and Pathedlav. There has been nothing that Chairman Taweepak has done to help this confederation. He is letting it slowly waste away. There doesn't seem to be any problems now, but there may be unrest if we let abuses of power continue. The only problem is that we're just an informative body to the Chairman of the Confederation, we cannot remove him without severe consequences on our part.

State Leader Nguoi Khon Ngoan: There is a way that we can act against the corruption that has given the Confederation a bad name. While we have changed the amended the Agreements of the Confederation in 2005, we didn't amend Agreement 98. I've been following this problem and I've done research on how we can remedy our situation before desperation starts. With Agreement 98, we can have a vote, as the Board of Leaders, to remove the chairman if he does not seem fit. This can not be challenged, but it does have to be unanimous. One disagreement and the enactment of Agreement 98 fails. Within Agreement 98, Section B allows us to pause the appointment of a new Chairman. This should stop Chairman Taweepak before any more damage can be done to the strength of this confederation we have.

SL Saravan: What to you propose we do after the enactment? I am not going to waste my time to appoint another Chairman of the Confederation if this is going to be a recurring thing. If we cannot fix then, then Pathedlav may not have a future in this corrupt union.

SL Toch: I doubt any state would be pushed to fight for succession. Perhaps we can rework the High Government. We would be able to do away with the corrupt entity that is the Chairman of the Confederation. We'd also be able to find a way to make sure each state has a level ground to speak from. Pathedthai is pushed above all others, even if State Leader Teptath is against it.

SL Nguoi: What do you propose that we do instead of the government we have now? We can't go against the Agreements of the Confederation. That would surely tear apart the confederation overnight.

SL Teptath: Not necessarily. We wouldn't strip away the State Board of Leaders, nor the Board of Leaders. We merely remove the Chairman of the Confederation. We can each lead with equal power. The only problem we have is that there is an equal number of us. Votes will be cast by us and the final say stands with the votes.

SL Nguoi: Perhaps Viadnam can be split. In the Viadnam State Constitution, we have a clause that states that Viadnam can be split into two entities by order of the State Leader. We've never used this clause since it has always been unnecessary. This may be the time we use it. It would create Viadnamneua and Viadnamtai (North Vietnam and South Vietnam). That would give us an odd number of representatives which means that there wouldn't be a tie. However, even if this all succeeds, what would we do about corruption of the Board of Leaders? There has to be protection against a downward spiral.

SL Saravan: We can promote three individuals from each state. That would give the Board of Leaders the power of 15, instead of 5. We could also set the new limit for something to pass to 10 votes or more. Anything less and it doesn't pass. We can let the states keep their duties, however. We wouldn't want to be bogged down with state-to-state affairs. We can worry about the confederation as a whole.

SL Toch: We would still need a central figure. It could become confusing for our citizens to see a different face each time they hear an announcement by the High Government.

SL Teptath: We can elect one person to be our spokesperson. They'd report on each decision we make. They speak on any official matter. They'd have the opinion of the majority of the Board. We can figure out who that will be once we get there. We still have a lot to do before we get to that point. I don't expect this to be an easy transition.

SL Saravan: So we can we expect this to move forward?

SL Teptath: If we're all in agreeance, we wait until Taweepak is at his most vulnerable. He is higher in age compared to us. I just hope this succeeds. Hell is to pay if this fails, and I have seen it. Aek satipnaia!

SL Toch, SL Ngoui, SL Saravan [In unison]: Aek satipnaia!
