The aftermath beyond that has been both good and bad. The most immediate beneficial effect was the fact that a person who was putting our own community at risk was no longer in it. Beyond that, many people were happy that long-awaited reforms, which had been held up in length debates previously, were finally able to be passed. This included the passage of a constitutional amendment to remove restrictions on concurrently serving in both the House of Representatives and Cabinet, which many believed to have hurt the government’s overall functioning. Of course, not all things were easy. Beyond the transfer of the forums and finding new recruitment methods, activity has fallen somewhat since the people who were banned were some of our more active members. The House, which at its peak was passing legislation every day and had nearly all its members actively engaged in voting and working on new legislation, has fallen a bit inactive, with legislation only being proposed by one of its members and the Founder.

The Cabinet to has been a bit quiet, although it’s still managed to keep up with its basic duties. Despite these hurdles, things have overall been going well for the region despite the loss of members and with more new members joining, many of whom are active, the Union seems to be doing okay and hopefully in time will be able to recover much of the activity which was lost.

This election was the first to implement the new changes brought by House Bill 33 so now, runners had to officially indicate for which party they were running for. There was only one candidate seeking the position of judge and it was Force Unity Party member Tigslarlowducken who had previously been defeated in the Court Election of last month by The Caminoes. For the House candidates, we saw some new faces with Force Unity Party member Egm and Democratic People’s Party member Silvedania running for their first office. Ex-Minister of Culture and House Representative and member of the DPP Qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm 1234567890- was the other House candidate.

Everything went according to the usual. Each candidate provided their answers during the Debate period and it was time to move on to the most important part. The voting. The voter turnout for the elections was pretty low probably due to the fact that they were not really super important elections and that the citizens didn’t felt obliged to go to the ballots. Also, due to having more available seats in the House than actual candidates, there wasn’t really any fight and everyone got elected without any objections. Tigslarlowducken also had similar results with 9 votes and only 1 abstention.

One week later, The Caminoes announced that he was leaving his position of Justice due to personal reasons and because of that, the second Court Election of this month was started. Chief Research Officer Great allegheny was the only one to present himself but due to him not answering the debate questions, he was disqualified and never went to the voting phase. Another Justice election has been called but we are still currently in the candidacy announcements part so we will have to wait to know more.

"Since signing the Hootship Treaty, Force and NWE have started to work on progress. Progress of course is defined by how people which to see it, which for Salibaic and myself is giving members of our community a great time. Whether that involve debates, Cabinet meetings, Treaties, or anything else the more y'all enjoy it the better. The Hootship Treaty was designed on the basis of the NWE "Friendship" class of Treaties but with the idea of actually following through with community events via the founding of The Corner. Another way that this Treaty has strengthened Force and NWE relations is by communication between Salibaic and myself. Both of us ironically came to power roughly the same way and believe in the same basic things: Making sure our people are happy, fixing up the region, and showing the region that it is ok to fire someone because they can't perform or something. Through this communication, many ideas have been shared and Salibaic has provided me with some bills that would assist in NWEs growth and I plan on returning the favor. As our regions continue to explore both government and community wise, I just simply ask for both regions to remember where we come from, and why not only should we remember the actions of our leaders, but also how we can improve as a region to increase forward progress. Thank you to Force for allowing this Treaty and the benefits it seeks to provide to be a reality."

The treaty consists of 4 main parts: Media, Roleplay, Mutual Intelligence, and Culture.

Under Media, it allows for each region's press (such as the Force Flyer) to report on each other’s region freely and post their respective articles and such like.

Under Roleplay, it permits anyone from either NWE or Force to be in each other's region RPs.

Under Mutual Intelligence it allows for Force to hand over information to the NWE on information pertaining to the NWE and vice versa.

Under Culture it creates a special discord named "The Corner" that is made to hold events between the two regions.

Sumeka, the current Minister of Foreign Affairs was appointed to be the replacement of Alemputo as Head of the Roleplay Committee. Sumeka had been the previous Head of the Committee before Alemputo but had been fired due to his inactivity at the time. The first thing that he did is that with the Committee that tried to find if someone had backups of the map. The Committee only managed to find backups of the political one which was good but they still missed the very important resources map. An announcement was then made to all roleplayers in the hope to find other backups and it paid off with Sensktramm sending the updated resource map that he had sent to his friend some weeks prior. The second thing Sumeka did was to purge the Roleplay Committee from inactive voters. In total, three members (Jam lung, Loomburg and Lashnakia) were removed and two of them were even later removed completely the Roleplay due to inactivity.

The Roleplay was not put on pause during this event and only one day after all this, a new fresh map made by newly appointed Deputy Head of the Committee Azerubia was released. Then some weeks after it was a new resource map that was made. Unfortunately, no backups of the height and biome map have been found so it will take a while before seeing them back. There were also a lot of new things added to the server such as news stations, an alliance channel and even a place to go if you need help.

Anyway, roleplay is currently doing very well and has some pretty active members. The first sports event was also organized as the First Force World Cup and it will be held in Azerubia. We also almost had our first big war with tensions between The Internationale and the World Extranational Economic Bloc almost erupting before calming down for a bit. Anyway, this roleplay is still pretty young and we are excited to see where the players will lead its path.

Sumeka and Azerubia have been working very diligently to ensure this expansion comes out in a timely manner, with Sumeka designing and drawing the continents, and Azerubia placing them on the map, as well as lots of brainstorming, discussion, and debate. They hope to have the update/expansion complete by June 8. If this expansion proves successful, Sumeka has stated that “...more expansions similar in scope will be added.” Further down the line will be the separation of MP from budget, which will make it entirely dependent on how much is spent on improving it, which will discourage AFK inactivity due to “It’ll rise on its own anyway”. Regardless, this update is looking like it will allow for some excellent RP and activity within the server.
