Iammelon wrote:Lord Rauus sighed, though was able to tell that this was May's way of apologizing for the poor taste joke prior. Which he did accept with a small nod, and allowing Mayflower to cling so closely to him. Since regardless of culture sensitivity, she was under his protection, and he didn't intend to fail that duty just because of a joke. Still, he looked to Zia with curiosity, picking up on what it had just said, "Hold on a second... Zia, did you say you only remember three more days of the events on this world before you repeat it? You are the one repeating the week before this planet's destruction?" He started to use his powers, since if Zia was a ghost, perhaps he could see further into her nature using his mystic skills. But he seemed disturbed by whatever it was he was figuring out.
Meanwhile, Zia simply nodded its weird multipiece head, "Yes, I have to! Everything goes blank when the week ends, and I'm cold and alone... So I repeat my memories, I'm putting it all together. Until I can find a way out! And now it worked! You're here, to help! See?"

Mayflower nodded in agreement, pretending to understand the ambuguously sane creature's ramblings. Nevertheless as she tasked her mind into thinking deeper the situation she came to a realization "Well, what if we helped you create more new memories? Would that help? We could spend more time together somewhere safe and figure things out ..do you know such a place Zia?"as time passed the deerwoman felt more safe and sure of herself, noticing that this creature while unstable was really desperate and in need of some good old Ialao hospitality.

Iammelon wrote:Azdrey was surprised by the sudden enthusiasm of the clerk, since he had pegged him as entirely uninterested in the customers, but he had to chuckle at Zebadush's advice. The talk wasn't entirely normal to him, but he could comment, "Afraid my occupation means I rarely have the time to play any long form games. I'm a little too mobile. So more fast paced things suit me more. Never much heard of Final Ethersea or Elder Scripts however, though I think I've seen the latter on sale in Bazaar stores back in Iammelon before. A Zantine store, I think." Then he had to blush a bit as once more he was called Liz's boyfriend. Azdrey wondered what about them said they were in a relationship, "Yes, I'm from Iammelon. Its my job here to take a look at the Hadast and report my first impressions back to Excave, and then we can determine a diplomatic relationship. And there will be nothing else. I bought Liz a necklace already, she's just getting me a return gift, apparently a tradition here. So, just this statue."

"Pack up the statue and also add this fine replica of a Talon-of-War frigate. I feel like being extra nice today! I'll pay you off when I get my salary as usual" intervened Lizbet. The slobbish Mizrahi gave a peculiar salute "Everything for a level 87 Talavaari Wizard!" ..lizbet blushed, obviously feeling ashamed a bit by the title but smiled and shook her head. The level 87 Talavaari Wizard turned to the Trike as he was being handed down his two gifts wrapped up in a colorfoul bag "Alright, I think we now could go to the Golden Dome, time's up and the Sophet doesn't like waiting much ..anything you might want to know?"

Iammelon wrote:Cendri had one more thing to say on that, simply cocking his head to the side in confusion since that statement to him didn't make sense, "This one doubts such a contingency is needed. If Excave wished to bring Nia harm, many opportunities to do so have come and passed. It is very unlikely my superiors would take this long to do such a thing if it was intended. As such, I believe you are quite safe." Regardless, he walked down the street towards the garrison building. As they walked, Nia would be able to see more of the neighborhood she had been placed in. It was a quiet place, with Watrike strolling around heading to their work or simply exercising. There was actually a small park here too. In the center of the park was a large golden statue of Tyfrondor's head. While imposing, the statue had made it with a soft gaze, reflecting kindness. The actual military garrison they were headed for, which was acting as this area's police station by Watrike standards, was a large fort so to say. It was an armored building, constructed clearly to act as an armory and a place to hold down in case of a siege, but under the current circumstances it was very open, allowing visitors. And so the two of them could just walk in through the front, past the two armed guards.

Nia was led to a room off to the side of the base's main lobby. It was an odd place, a combination of a police station, office, and military base. Still, Cendri as a soldier wasn't given any trouble, and so they just got to their destination without any issue. Waiting for the two of them were two more Watrike. One was clearly a doctor, normally a field surgeon but taken here for whatever he was here to do. The second Watrike was a green Trike in a suit, with a briefcase and some paper. He smiled as he saw Nia, gesturing for her and Cendri to take the two open seats at the table, "Welcome. This one is here to ask questions. Zirona wishes to inquire further as to how you are doing, as well as more about the facility you were recovered from. Afterwards, the doctor will perform a checkup to ensure you are healthy. Do you consent to this one's requests? These will not take long, and you may quickly return to integrating into Trikorn soon after."

Nia noticed the big statue of the kind dragon. She would certainly have to ask about it later, as she never had witnessed such a majestic beast before ..even in stone form.
Entering the building she squinched, tapping her claws together nervously, but finally letting a sigh and nodding her head as she met the two examiners for the first time "Allright, this one accepts the doctors requests" The pink watrike appeared to be reluctant and extremely cold in her demeanor , however, she tried her best to answer politely to their inquiries "this one is doing fine, liking Trikorn a lot so far.." thinking about the last question, her mother came to her mind "This one came from a place in a very lonely planet. But not always lonely long ago ...mother was there, brothers. A lot of pointy sticks and exercising and lightning machines.." she shuddered for a moment "And there were others this one saw never face. Always covered, glowing orange armor."

Iammelon wrote:Fluffs narrowed her eyes in annoyance at the two snakes taking the situation poorly, and of course for threatening the life of the assistant she had just acquired. So she took out her coin and flicked it straight at Zoji, to bonk him on the snoot. She then caught the coin as it bounced back to her, and started tossing it up and down as she spoke out, "None of that, you. This one is mine, and I'll do as I please with it. Besides, I'm not hungry. Now, Saitkik, you stay here. I'll be back later to collect you. Now hurry up you two, if a gathering is called then we should get going. Stop slacking, no more waiting." Fluffs tugged on the two massive Naga as she said this, clearly intent on going with them to whatever this gathering was. She didn't know what this was about, but the Valorian had decided that she was going, since otherwise these two Naga might screw it up. What "it" was remained unknown to Fluffs, but she was certain a gathering held importance, and an important thing shouldn't be screwed up.

Two days later...
After a long trip within a somewhat uncomfortable and thick bag, Fluffs could finally listen to some new Naga voices; the mysterious meeting was now in session.
A loud male voice proclaimed "Welcome Brothers and Sisters of the All-Eater ...you may leave your weapons by the entrance and culr at your seats. Cousin Ishinja, please do not eat secretly all the meatcakes like last session." Air was sadly getting a bit warm and thick within the bag, but Fluffs could hear well...
A raspy female voice answered "It's not my fault you eastlanders have a bigger appetite for talks than prey" followed by thousand groans and laughters. Apparently Ashiji and Zoshi were eastlanders as they both groaned.
The loud voice proclaimed loudly once more "Alright, session is in order ...as you know we have one subject that endangers us all and is the reason for this Blood-Gathering; Prey Expansion! Always our collective hunting grounds have been at times enroached by prey unions, but the last decade the situation has been unbearable; the awakening of Celestials has caused upheaval in the east ..many old hunting grounds are being violated as we speak due to this imbalance in the east.." a snarky young male voice interrupted "As you said ..in the east! We face no problems in the core at all because we know how to treat prey ..like prey" many voices agreed, others sweared and a general feeling of disorder seemed to be in place "ORDER FANGROTHERS AND FANGSISTERS... Toshinji you should be ashamed of yourself! Or have you forgotten of the Psion incident and who saved you? East, West, Core, Darkstars ..while all lone hunters on our own, we are all Xhassathra Naga; we talk and discuss and plan our way our bites hit ..otherwise we're little more than brainless Sissathra!" much agreement could be heard by all, sadly Fluffs could not appreciate it as the air within the bag was getting asphyxiating.

Iammelon wrote:The Union military headquarters was of course located on Heord. For while Javalus was the nominal capital of the Union, it was on the frontlines of the Civil War and so was too dangerous for usage as the main base of the Union. Heord was thus serving as the headquarters, as it had the protection and facilities necessary. Gathered here were important people from across Iammelon, or at least the parts that had sided with Excave and Bazaar Security. Anubite Lords, Arachain Masters of Work, Proscorine Admirals, Ialao Generals, and more of all Iammelonian Species. All here to fight the Confederacy in the name of a Free Iammelonian Union, be they republicans or monarchists. But while they all handled their own areas of importance, the most important figure of them all was in a side room, his own chamber to make plans and meet with people to discuss them. Free from the turmoil, and able to think clearly. It was the Grand Drake's room, a section of peace in the chaos of this headquarters, calm despite the crisis.
Tyfrondor was looking on a map of Iammelon when Mica came in, evaluating the situation as he considered what territory remained under his control. That little sigh was something the Grand Drake understood all too well, and he gave the Boethan a nod, "Indeed, it's quite something to take in. But it is sadly what I expected, in truth. I told you it before in our last meeting. Cyboar is the threat, but what ultimately would kick this off is the emotions and desires of fellow Iammelonians. The Boar is too slow, but greed grows quick. So it not a surprise to me that Omnipo were the ones to eventually snap. But all the same, this battle shall be the one that allows us to finally secure unity for Iammelon. Cast out Cyboar and bring this nation together. Hopefully with as few Iammelonian lives lost as possible. This is not a glorious war, for it is never glorious to fight one's own brethren, but it is one that is needed. Now, let us put aside the sadness, and get to action." The Dragon pointed towards the map of Iammelon, his claw aimed towards Boetha, "Your world is on the frontline. Boetha however may not fall, I will not abandon it. Your world is a statement, being entirely surrounded by space loyal to this rebel Confederacy. If it can be safeguarded, I believe it can convince other worlds to reconsider their allegiances. However two major problems face us on this. Cyboar is one, and the other are the Zantines. It seems they are quite invested in retaking historical territory, and that includes Boetha."

Mica let out a loud laugh and clapped her hands "Hah, good old Zantine brozhers ..vhen vill zhey learn!" her smile however disappeared immediately replaced by a sour look in her face "It's not Zantines I fear, ve can and have had handled zhem in zhe long past many times. I'm more concerned vith Omnipo spreading upheaval ..Monrio is a man of vords, he knows how to sway the masses, be it to buy his products or betray zheir nation. Zhis is a var of legitimacy and eizher ve end it fast enough or ve'll see more systems slipping through our paws. To do zhis ve need to get into even terms vith zheir varmachine because no offense but I know Trikes, and as good and loyal and strong as zhey may be, zhey're not vardroids capable of taking down half of Iammelon ..ve have to perform surgical strikes zhat vill veaken Omnipo power in zhe Javalus-Avalantus Core Operational Axis, JACOA, severely ..particularly zhis planet" she tried jumping to reach the map while pointing at some small agrarian outpost "Zhat's not an agrarian vorld, I know it isn't ..I've been zhere undercover before vhen Boetha under zhe Federalists vas negotiating a pen supply contract vith Omnipo ...I vas, vell, I decided to check out zhe merchantise myself... turns out zhose vere some pretty powerful and big pens, applicable to average size 'bureaucratic vessels' and capable of shooting at least twenty missilies of deadly ink called plasma" She smirked and crossed her arms, quite proud and satisfied of her attempt at snark and success as a master spy.

Iammelon wrote:Zenos, to Myrafiora's fortune, was blushing as well. Her initial comment about liking him more than a lot seemed to save her from false conclusions, not to mention her behavior after was telling. So he just smiled at her, trying to encourage her. Meanwhile, Emperor Maximianus just nodded his head, completely expecting that, it was something that would be rather important in coming times, "Of course! It is only natural that our ruling houses, tied together through marriage, would support eachother in military matters when requested. The Zantine Empire will happily vocally and publicly support your reign, and we will back this up with military support. In exchange, you will assist us should the Empire ever call for it. Otherwise, I have only one other related matter. You just need to promise that you will keep Zenos safe, from dangers related to both the Talmyrox and Zantium. On this personal front I want your guarantee of his safety, said to my face. Once I hear that, everything is settled as far as I am concerned." With a smile he added one more thing, which was said in a more lighthearted manner, "Oh, and with that you'll be free of obligations to stay in here. I'll happily say you have diplomatic matters to attend to, so you can get out of this party."

Upon hearing Maximianus' request something arose within Myrafiora, a strong feeling of certainty that she had lost a long time ago as a kid ...she bumped her chest with her fist, looking at the Emperor sternly "By Tal, I'll protect my husband with my life if need be! My word and heart on fire!". She grabbed Zenos' hand, standing up "Then now Emperor, I th-think ..me and the prince ..ehm, would be better to leave for Gal ..hmmm ..uh" her until now quiet and scrawny diplomat noticing the awkward situation intervened, he gave a low bow towards the emperor, talking in a soothing and polite tone "Her divine greatness sincerely hopes your imperial highness will be able to attend to the ceremony as well when the date is settled, for now her greatness and his princely majesty will have to discuss regarding the immediate responsibilities and tasks at hand."
While the hard part of this affair was over for Myrafiora, Zenos' time had come; He would have to meet with Myrafiora's kin, the mighty and powerful Galgatyen dynasty and win their hearts and minds. Living in their high castle in Gal Shyryen, the lunar lords have a fame for being a peculiar family ..at least for Shyrite standards.

Jade Frigate "Landarya's Blade", secret Talmyrene convoy en route to Gal Shyryen, near the Talmyrengal Heartlands' Space.
In the private living quarters, Myrafiora enters her groom's room dressed in her nightgown "Hey.. I guess you'll have to meet my family now. Just act naturally and avoid provoking my granfather ...my brother's okay as is my mother, and well, we'll see about dad. Just be calm and relaxed. Ask me anything ..we're supposed to share thoughts." she patted his shoulder to calm him, though herself seemed rather stressed.

Necunda wrote:He blushes on that statement of keeping him around like a pet, it dosen't sound so bad after all he has been a pet all of his life and a change of 'owners' would be nice. Someone nice, someone who is caring someone who actually treats him right and such. In this cold winter blizzard he feels warm even without her tough, her mere words, her alluring gaze, her sweet honey-like voice already warms him up right down to his core, this feeling.. it isnt infatuation anymore... its akin to feeling true love.. no its too early for that.. he has to see this relationship through and through, let it develop and flourish naturally, let it not skip steps.

While still blushing he would shakily approach her hand and hold it, stopping once held, she can feel the warmth from him."Well now, so this is your place..?"

Now with Baeusthair making his first of many attempts at affection it would seem to Humor her, and would cause her to react still letting him hold onto her hand, now noticing the warmth coming from him before he would refer to her home in question, in responce she would nod her head and point towards it, a Tall large building it's exterior colors that of a dull grey color with extended balconies per each floor, all together it would seem that the entire building contained around 30 rooms, each of them being separated into tens to their respective floors, and eventually she would speak, all the while pointing towards the top floor with the room to the center doing so while attempting to stand back up;

"Yup, thats the one... Room Number 853, right in the center... I know it doesn't seem that large but, believe me the rooms are much larger on the inside than they appear to be on the outside, besides, I need to get up.. and get the both of us inside, I know you might be suffering from the cold, and these seats outside are uncomfortable, and while I'm still at it."

without much hesitation or warning she would pull herself towards him once again, and once more embracing him within her grasp now both of her arms once more wrapped around him, giving him a more passionate and tighter hug than before, while being more stronger it would be short lived as she would seem to take their luggage and start to make her way towards the building, motioning for him to follow all the while smiling

Honour guard wrote:Arya and the rest of her people were happy to finally give th Taurus a challenger worthy of them, it might be more than alittle intimidating for the smaller races of Iammelon to see these two hulking exemplars of strength to be so eager face off against each other, though it was more out of great respect from the Ultarian's for the Taurus to take them so seriously despite the recent beginnings as a 'race'. For the Ronah's, they were steadfast in getting the official training to back up their natural knowledge. Eager to learn all they could about modern medicine to do the best for the wounded, maybe see about improving their natural biogel.

"Good to know it isn't just me that's getting lost in this layout, this Watrike is an exceptional guide to have the route memorized. I wonder how many months it took him not to get lost from the bunkroom." Melyphis says with a small smile as she looks around as they reach the command centre, she was sure the journey was over but apparently not as they go down another corridor "I really hope we get a guide to get back because I think I'll starve before I even find the mess hall."

Sieg just stood up and almost flinched as she couldn't help but see the logic in that idea of hers. "... You... May... Have a point..." The last part she says under her breath as she grunts. "E-Even so! I've never even attempted to take such a form. Human biomass, while diverse, has always been seen as useless matter to the Swarm. I'd need... Some help..."

Piper smiles before she turned and got up on her tiptoes, getting a bottle from the top shelf before she started to pour him some red wine. He could already smell the strong and fruity smell wafting from the bottleneck after she popped the cork off of it into her tail. "Ms barkeep huuuh? Oh I never said you were weak, I'm just saying that it might be a little stronger than some of the stuff you'll get for a fair price around here. My people take pride in our drinks, funnily enough we never really got into the cooking side of things since we're pretty easy to please food wise but when it comes to drinks we like to be pretty competitive about it." She says sliding him a tall glass.

It was indeed quite something for species like Humans and Cuthians to now have yet another large and powerful addition to Iammelon's ranks, though watching them go at it to compare strength was in itself an interesting spectacle. Thankfully for them, this was an addition to the their ranks rather than some sort of foreign challenger, and so they weren't scared or worried. For Humans it did help that the Ultarians resembled amazonian-style women. As for the Taurus, they were rather happy to finally have a proper match, which meant they weren't just alone as a physical powerhouse of a species. Thus, if the Ultarians were willing to be their comrades instead or rivals, they were all too happy to treat them with respect. Besides, gave a chance to draw a new race into their own little cultural fold, instead of letting the Humans absorb yet more. Although, all the same, it was nice to have more powerful Iammelonians.

Admiral Tamour chuckled, nodding i agreement, "Indeed. The walk was quite something, and without a guide to a land of food, we will most certainly die. Thankfully, I am sure such a guide will be provided, and we can reach a mess hall to refill our stomachs in good time. But first, we have something important. Stand up straight now." The Dragon's body language shifted a bit, taking on a far more formal and imposing visage, holding his head up high. Then, he marched through the now opening regal doors.
Within the chamber was a large tactical command room. Lining the walls were yet more Golden Guard Watrike, and a great large map of Iammelon constantly being updated with real time information of battles, intelligence reports, and more. A number of command computers and consoles were strewn about the room, operated by Watrike giving out direct orders. The orders came from the back, where one could see two pristine Golden Dragons. Standing at what was clearly the master command console was the elder Dragon, who stood firm and composed, a Dragon certain in his control of the situation, and piercing eyes that gazed into one's soul. The other Dragon was younger, and more technical. The elder Dragon gave that Dragon the orders, and he then distributed them, as well as being the one to inform the Elder Dragon of updates. Admiral Tamour walked in and bowed his head to the elder Dragon before speaking up, "My Grand Drake, I have answered your summons. It is an honor. This is my new assistant and bodyguard, Melyphis. Part of the Zerg we have incorporated into our forces."
The Dragon, which was now revealed as Tyfrondor himself, looked to the two of them and nodded, "I have heard. You are the one who created the mdoels being tested right now, correct? It is a pleasure to meet you. This is my son Razethorn." He gestured to the younger Dragon, who waved.

Aloni raised an eyebrow in amusement, "Suddenly so squeamish! My, my. Still, if you really got an issue, we can always get more biomass. We can use a body or we can go collect samples! I'm sure there will be volunteers, even I could pitch in. Though what's got you so nervous?"

---

Rovin chuckled at her using her tail to pop the cork, finding that amusing, "Hehehe, you are an interesting barkeep for sure. Still, from the sounds of it your people would do well on Arcid. On Arcid you eat what you can get, but if you can't handle a strong drink then you ain't built to survive. Guess though it's similar but for very different reasons." He then decided to properly test the drink by taking a swig.

Honour guard wrote:Zether might have to do some flying drills or something to get better at aerial combat seeing as it was pretty noticeable that he hasn't done this in ages. "Yeah I knooow! It's just pretty hard getting back into the swing of things after this long. I only really used my wings when I was super mad." Which is alittle bit of a understatement to those who know him personally... And to those in the military who red the Duxton reports.

By the time the disks explode on her, Zether had kicked off of the dark magi platform he made for himself, fist raised with gathering energy to make the impact pretty strong but pretty much all air force to knock her back and surprise her for this last attack, as he flew right through the explosion to strike her with his force punch before she has a chance to recuperate from his last attack. Aiming to just blow her back before trying to catching her with telekinesis just in case they're too close to the ocean's surface.

Fulzcatra would've commented on that telepathically, as she did have a bit of sass for his angry flying, but she was currently a bit busy spinning in the air regaining balance. Sadly for her, Zether did not give her the chance to recover. The forceful strike made her fly back even further, dropping like a stone through the air. Thankfully, they were rather high up, and she managed to fix the fall before she got too close to the ocean. So, she was rather surprised, but not hurt. A dark force even suggested that with her lightning powers, she was rather... shocked. Regardless, Fulzcatra then started laughing, flying back up and responding, "Not bad! Not bad at all! Still quite rusty in your form, but you're a powerful lad! Still, only flying when you're mad? You sure you're a wanderer and ain't a cave Dragon, Zetha? All the same, we should get going. Gonna get late at this rate. Time to shake off the rust, and follow me, keep up if you can!" With a little twirl, she suddenly flew off, now headed towards the mainland and away from the islands.

The Ebony Republic wrote:It seemed to indeed be a pattern. The first droid in the line was always missing a panel in the head, the second would be missing the entire head, the third would be missing an arm, the fourth a leg, and the fifth would have a head, but one could quite clearly peek into it and see it was empty. Like the Controller had an idea of how to -make- the droids, but it never truly seemed to grasp missing parts. Then, as Fornt was examining, the hangar door hissed open. From it stepped forth an eight foot droid, shining in a suit of armor perfectly molded in one spot. According to scans, it appeared to be nearly invulnerable to conventional and energy-based small arms fire, and was quick enough to even give Cyboar units a run for their money. How it would stand up to Fornt was unknown, and would continue to be unknown, as it stomped over to the three and held a hand out.

"Welcome to Pointbreak Station. There have been zero days since a functioning droid was made. The last unit was made approximately four-hundred and fifty years ago." It remarked, its facial slit lighting up as it spoke. "The Controller is aware of your prescence but is currently occupied and has not marked you for extermination. You match the appearance of Cyboar units encountered at Sector A409." It looked at Fornt, then at the Knights. "The Fourth and Fifth Knights persist. Welcome." It then turned to look at the line. "The Controller is unsure of what it is missing, and we are unable to aid it. These units are made for war, but we do not wish for it." It extended a blade from its arm, holding it out for the three to examine.

The blade itself was honed to a monomolecular edge but went even more than that. The blade itself seemed able to redirect bioelectrical feedback from a target and into the droid, like tales of vampires sucking blood. It then retracted the blade with a simple click. "If you are able to aid in repairs of the Station, we have reached a consensus to let you see the Controller."

The pattern was interesting to Fornt, and he wondered if there was an error in the assembly line’s setup itself, or if it was indeed the controller’s own misunderstanding of how to make a complete whole out of these droids. He turned his attention to the actual functioning, seemingly combat oriented droid, and nodded, “Yes, I am wearing Cyboar Augmented armor, but I am very much not aligned with Cyboar. Regardless, if you want assistance in fixing up your production line, I see no issue with at least giving it a look to see what we can do.”

Anything other than staring with binoculars at a damn forest all day.”

"If we knew exact numbers, you would already have them. We aren't hiding useful information just because we can, we simply don't have it. I have only predictions, and background information. This continent that's rebelling, Zanos, is the old administrative and population center that was used by the Zantine Empire when they ruled the planet. As such, it is perhaps the continent with the most in the way of modernization, merged with the naturalist ways of the Ialao. The Vok High Guard reacted to the oncoming THOR unit, moving their shields to a defensive position and drawing their blades quite loudly as the shields electrified. The ambassador moved her finger to the left a little bit, extending a web of silver lines over her and her entourage, the lines glittering in any light. "Monofilament wires. Strong enough to cut into shielding and power armor. I would indeed watch it, alien."

Daegmund, seemingly not in the mood to ramble any further. "You're in the way alien." He says sniffing before noticing the glints in the air as if he is seemingly surrounded by something. "Quite the impressive wire you have. 4 Microns? 870 kg tension weight? Hehe.. very impressive, ill give you that." While still staring at the ambassador he would move his hand to one of the nearest wires to him, while still wearing gloves he would twist one of the wires on his finger and begins pulling on it, unknown on where it is hooked onto. "So tell me, alien. Why did you leave us to almost rot when you first contacted us?"

"Oh dear Unathur." It seems Styrvain noticed the increasing tension there and would watch from afar to see how her own subordinate would handle this situation.

The Marlborough stood up and shook his head, "I don't mean that. My army and my men can take some armoured cars and some anti-tank rockets. What I'm worried about is the... the organic stuff. I know these Ialao are naturalists and environmentalists. I've dealt with natives before. The Némalese Uprising of 12 AS, I saw action against the Anktha. Earth mages who roam the irradiated deserts of Cabitville. The bastards used sand worms to evade our movements, and ambush us by feeling the vibrations. One thing I've learned from my time in academy were the six types of terrain. And that forest is entangling. Easily abandoned but hard to reoccupy." He sighed, looking back out the small viewport. "They gain an inch of ground from us, and we spend weeks trying to take it back. We're going to have logistical problems. Look at the trees, we'll have to cut roads, dig trenches, and set up temporary fortifications to keep this war going. Bless the moon we have room to maneuver."

It wasn't long until Samantha busted down the doors to his fortress and started to bother him again, though he was honestly happy to have the little nuisance around.

Though, he did feel the familiar tingle of vast divine power being reawoken in the Province. "Oh goodie... That Frame is back online..."

Samantha was messing around with one of his books, flipping through it as she looks up to him "Frame? You mean those big robots??"

Richard nodded as he looked over to her "Yes, but there is a particular robot I had a runnin is called Seraph. It's really annoying to deal with since it has divine blessings so it's pretty much unstoppable in normal circumstances."

Should any of the three sleep, they'd all find themselves in a strange place due to the Discordance's prescence. They were in an apartment of some form, and they could hear music outside the window. A strange, slightly off tune very similar to what the Discordance itself seemed to sound like.

Seraph seemed to leave the planet shortly after its activation.

He says sniffing before noticing the glints in the air as if he is seemingly surrounded by something.

The wires immediately moved backwards, the High Guard moving to an offensive position and bringing their tower shields fully upwards towards Daegmund, resting their blades to the side of it. "I wouldn't advise touching Vok weaponry so carelessly." The ambassador remarked, still keeping her hands behind her back. "Unless you do wish to initiate an incident with the Witch-King's Court, I advise you try again. I don't know your kind, xenos. We haven't been involved in Confederate politics until recently. Willing to act like a diplomat, or should my High Guard deal with you appropriately?"

Iammelon wrote:The pattern was interesting to Fornt, and he wondered if there was an error in the assembly line’s setup itself, or if it was indeed the controller’s own misunderstanding of how to make a complete whole out of these droids.

The droid turned and began to escort the three of them down a hallway, clanking along. Many other droids seemed active as they passed multiple manufactorums, assembly lines and repair stations. Eventually, after a long and winding walk to the center of the station, they reached the central manufactory. The room itself was easily the size of a larger starship, seeming to make the droids in a repeating pattern as Fornt saw. Multiple consoles and scattered parts littered the room, and the droid extended its hand out in a simple gesture. Asura tilted her head, and looked over to Fornt. "What's interesting is it doesn't seem like a glitch in programming. AIs usually resolve that."

Iammelon wrote:It was indeed quite something for species like Humans and Cuthians to now have yet another large and powerful addition to Iammelon's ranks, though watching them go at it to compare strength was in itself an interesting spectacle.

You are the one who created the models being tested right now, correct?

Melyphis chuckled softly to this as she stayed by Tampour's side, thought straightening her back and trying to look presentable as she and Tamour entered the command room, Mel briefly glanced to the many manned monitors and intel that was being updated in real time. Her gaze then shifts to the two dominant figures in the room, the Golden dragons. Once Tamour went over and bowed his head, she stepped forward and bowed as well to the Grand Drake. Once he asked is she was the one that made the models for the new zerg races she looked up and nodded to Tyfrondor "I am my Grand Drake, I am Melyphis. It is an honour to finally meet you and your son." She says with another bow "I must say that it has been wonderful ever since I started working under Admiral Tamour, I could not have done any of this without the Admiral's generous assistance and the wonderful volunteers and scientists that assisted in this task. It was a privilege to have their help."

"I am not squeamish! It just isn't something I've ever done or looked into so the margin for failure is something I have to greatly consider." She says as she folds her arms across her chest.

Taking the swig he would certainly feel the kick, it wasn't terribly strong at first, it was more like the fruity taste did very well to hide how strong it was. It was a deceptive drink, much like the Athailian's in a way, they could look like any race at first glance to the untrained eye, though the strength of the drink was not something to overlook. He'd certainly feel a warm feeling tingle up his spine, like that gradual warm shiver as you can feel the liquor numbing your senses, it was pretty good for something that tasted so nice and not rottingly sweet or strong. Piper just smiled to him as she watched him, her tails swishing behind her "Why thank you~ Maybe I should settle and start up a bar one of these days. Can't keep raising kids on blood money you know?"

After the blow and their bout was over, the dark haze dissipated as a big grin spread across his face, especially when hearing the dark power suggest a new pun to him. Truly a boon to have such puns given to him. "Yeah I am still a bit rusty but I still have plenty of power to back it up." He does chuckle as she compares him to a mountain dragon "We'll find out soon won't we?" He says before he hurries after her as she sped off towards the mainland "Oh I'll do more than try!"

In the night, Draco would be sleeping since he and Hedya decided to do so in shifts. Not thinking that anything bad would happen. Erox would be missing from the equation, seems sleep is beneath a celestial beast such as he. "Hmm... It just left the planet... How odd." Richard say as he places his hands behind his back, rescuing his human form before taking off his hood. Samantha just looking over to him as she went through his stuff before gasping and dropping a glass jar at her feet "Corpse friend has skin!!!?"

The sound of glass breaking filled him with annoyance before he just groaned deeply as she called him that terrible nickname again, speaking normally in parallel to how he used to speak using magic to simulate his voice, making it sound synthetic or hollow. "Pleeeaaaase don't call me that, you promised. Call me Richard. And yes I have skin, I have my old bo-"

"Why do you look so young though?! I thought you'd be super old with a big nose and wrinkles! But you have red hair and look like super young!" She says as she basically leaps right in front of him, bouncing on the spot in an oversized mage robes that she stole from Richard's dresser.

Richard just looks down at her with a blank yet also offended look on his face "I never got to be an old man I'll have you know. I never aged past the age of 19 so when I bring my body back I'm stuck looking fresh faced. And I'd rather stay that way, my enemies will always underestimate me like thi-"

"You died when you were only 19?!? What are you a scrub?" She says putting her hands on her hips, pointing her hand at him as the oversized robe sleeve flops about infront of her. "You need to get stronger mister skin bag!" Richard, looking astonished to the audacious 9 year old he let into his home... 3 days ago? Why hasn't she gone home yet, not that he really cares that she stays here. "Say... I haven't seen you go home once since I made this place and let you in. What is that child?"

Samantha's face went pale before she looked down, shivering slightly before she looked back up and smiled "I can leave if you wa-" She was silenced as Richard placed a hand on her head, kneeling down with a stern look "That isn't what I asked. Inside these walls you are safe Samantha, no matter how annoying you can get. Now... Tell me what's wrong." Samantha went quiet as she looked up to Richard, shivering under his hand as she tries to keep her smile even as her azure coloured eyes welled up with tears "It's nothing b-bad. I... I just don't really have anywhere else to go... I've been living off the streets.. I didn't want to go to an orphanage... I've always been good on my own, my powers helped me get through situations just fine... Then I met you and things got interesting... You seemed so lost and lonely... Like me... So I just wanted to stick around..."

Richard looked and listened to the little annoyance, relieved deep down that there wasn't anything horrible going. Swiftly and softly he just brought her head into his shoulder, wrapping an arm around her as he stroked her hair wordlessly at first, letting the initial flinching wear off before she just steadily bawls into his robes, which he will have to clean now but nevermind. "You just seem to be one big problem don't you you little monster... But that's fine. Monster's should stick together." She laughs and sniffles into his shoulder before looking up to him, smiling like a goofball kid should up to him "So I can stay?" "Of course you can, as long as you're willing to learn and don't destroy everything. "I promise I promise!!!"

You are no longer an Admiral. You are now the Union's Minister of War, second in command only to me. Your role begins now. Congratulations, Minister. I do hope you will lead the Union's new military to victory in this first war it must go through."
The Blue Dragon was rather surprised by that sudden announcement, and was silent for a moment before bowing his head once more, "Thank you, my Grand Drake! I am honored by this, and I will endeavor to live up to your expectations and more! I suppose then my first job shall be organizing Excave's forces with our allies into a unified Union Military structure. Melyphis, you will help me with this."

Aloni chuckled, shaking her head, "So you are squeamish then, scared of messing up! Haha, a bit harder to do something without a big strong Queen giving you the orders, hm? Well if you really need instructions, you can always contact Yajana, since she did it herself. Or I'll give you a blood sample to experiment with."

All the same, can't hurt to bring in a second source of cash, right? Heh, might even take advantage of those Thorax lads by setting up near their dig sites. Also, strong drink, you weren't kidding!"

Whatever the Dark Force was, it enjoyed puns and was happy to share in order to spread punnyness. Fulzcatra meanwhile was amused as Zether moved to catch up, enjoying that he was taking the flying seriously. To her, this was some much needed exercise for his poor, unused wings. She spoke back to him as they moved along, "Maybe you got a lot of power, but it ain't much good if you can't fly straight! While you're here, I'll help fix that. Casual Island Dragoness guarantees! Doesn't sound like much, but trust me it means plenty! Still, won't have to fly too much on Mondron once we get where we're going. Speaking of which, take a look!" They were now coming up on the shores of Mondron, forests and mountains visible in the distance. There were even more Dragons flying about visible. Some were playing, and some were just moving about normally, going about their own business.

Disconnecting with Markway, the captain begins to speak in basic to the traduitarian ship.

"Any chance you could bring Markway to us? We don't know his location, and we'd like to hurry this up so we can get out of here?"

Markway

Before the man could continue with the interview, Markway's astrosuit begins to beep violently. Markway's eyes go wide, before he sprints to it, pressing a button on the wrist, he begins speaking to an unknown entity in a language that could only be descries at "ear wrenching". After a few seconds of talking, Markway disconnects by pressing another wrist mounted button, before telling the interviewer the good news.

"Well would you look at that! The guys actually found me!"

I’m not talking about full spraying the forest, that’s just cruel. But what about just spraying where we make our roads? To ensure the roads stay there? Or do I need to start putting in orders for the magic inhibitors?”

"Lord Tyfrondor's suggestion was of course primarily for the fact that most Ialao are on our side, this is but one continent of rebels and we should not irritate the majority. But another reason is because you shouldn't be wasteful. Ialao are quite good at biology, their druids especially so, and any defoliants you use may lose effectiveness overtime as the Ialao build in countermeasures for their plants. This will cost them barely anything, as nature will handle the burden of resource costs, while for us it would make various chemicals slowly but surely less and less useful, and replacing those with stronger versions is far more costly. Not to mention it will just happen again to any new developed defoliants. Magic inhibitors and manual clearing of the roads is the best way to use it, save the defoliants for when we need to clear the roads for large offensives quickly, so as to give us the element of surprise without giving the Ialao too much of a chance to adapt their forests. It will be annoying, but this is a very valuable tool that can't be expended on basic maintenance of roads we may not be able to hold for too long."

Zia seemed confused at first, not quite seeming to comprehend the offer at first with their amalgamated body tilting to the side a bit. Then, as comprehension came, Zia got more excited, their body starting to jitter a bit more, excitement leaking into their voice as well, "New memories! Yes! I want memories beyond the week! Memories untainted by the voices, by confusion! You will provide that! Yes... I do not know where though, but maybe... I do know. A little bunker nearby. None of the soldiers go near it, it is quiet..." Zia then pointed a clawed finger towards the west, where the fighting was less intense in comparison to the rest of the raging city, "Hidden beneath the rubble, I remember. Remember..."
Lord Rauus meanwhile looked to where Zia was suggesting, and seemed skeptical, "A bunker over there? I don't believe I know of any such hidden bunker, but perhaps there is one. We must be careful, of course. And we shall see if Zia's memory holds."

Azdrey took his new statue and surprise replica frigate, taking the bag and smiling. He was a bit amused and decided to ask a question, "Level 87 Talavaari Wizard? But you're not a Human, or a Wizard! So, where does that come from?" Then he nodded his head, "A good idea, best to not make them wait too long. I suppose for what I'd like to know is about the Sophet themselves. I am aware they are an elected position, but beyond that I know little of the position or who currently holds it. This is of course important for how I present myself to them, and what sorts of requests can be made or granted from my own position."

Cendri took his seat next to Nia, although remained silent for now to allow the questioning to proceed without his interference on either end. He simply stood by, oddly unphased by anything being said. The two investigating Watrike meanwhile took more interest, as once past the formal question of well being the discussion of Nia’s life before was their real concern here. The Suited Watrike leaned forward, “Yes, the planet was rather lonely when we found it. Officially uninhabited, according to records. This was proven false. This one would like to know about your mother, as well as how many brothers Nia had. Finally, tell more about the glowing orange armor. Did Nia see any symbols of Boars on them or anything else?”
The Doctor Watrike then leaned in, with questions pertaining to his own interests, “Can Nia describe the lightning machines? And the exercises? This one is very much wanting to know more about that. It is also important for the medical checkup, as this one does not wish to give further pain in the examination or cause undue irritation.”

Taurgha wrote:Two days later...

To ceremoniously begin the great Xhassathra gathering, the bag that contained Fluffs was kicked open from the inside, and out popped the scruffy Valorian. She jumped straight into the center of the meeting, and started stretching, and emitting a loud yawn. Still stretching, she started to speak in her dour voice, just speaking aloud to everyone, "Finally out, that bag was quite tight. Next time, better transport. Feels good to be out... Now what the hell are you lot looking at? Oi chubby, stop staring!" She accusingly pointed out one of the corelander Xhassathra Naga, "You need to stop focusing on prey and start focusing on actual exercise you overgrown pile of lard. Or is the only prey you can catch of the chubby variety for itself? What a hunter you are. Same for you, you can't hide those cakes, yellow one in the back!" She shook her head in disappointment, crossing her arms and staring down the rest of the Naga, no concern for the likely humiliation her two hosts were experiencing at that very moment.

The Grand Drake grew a smile on his face, visibly impressed as well by Mica's discoveries, as well as her accurate assessments of how this war would have to be fought. Tyfrondor thus nodded his head in affirmation, "A wise appraisal of the situation, I am happy to see that I have not made a mistake with my trust. You are correct, Omnipo's power lies in its propaganda, as well as its navy. These are their strengths, and so even with my trusted and effective Watrike, they cannot fight this war by themselves. We need more systems loyal to the Union, more soldiers joining our cause, and finally more ships in the ether to fight the overwhelming power of the OMNI Navy. Thus, our operations have to cripple that navy and damage their ability to sway the people." He then took a closer look at the Agrarian outpost, such a minor place that even he with his great intelligence network and vast general knowledge was not aware of, "Interesting. I will say that I did not know about this hidden depot of starship grade weaponry. We will need to take that, for the growing Union Navy needs many more guns. A few extra deadly pens for the books will go very far. So then, Mica, as you are the one who found this world and know more about it than I do, how do you suggest moving forward with seizing the hidden merchandise? Can't exactly spare an army on my end, the warfront is too heavy for such a diversion of resources, but I do have specialists to deploy. And I know all too well that you and Boetha have plenty of assets at your disposal that you have not officially informed me of. So, use them, and I want a spectacle. This is a war of legitimacy, as you said, and we must show all of Iammelon that the Union has a strong enough bite to match Omnipo's Confederate bark!"

The Zantine Emperor grew a large smile at seeing Myrafiora’s proclamation of intent, very much pleased to see so much emotion and drive in it. Maximianus nodded to the diplomat, “Of course. I have what I wanted, I see no reason to prevent the Talmyr from returning to her important duties as soon as possible. You can be sure I will be in attendance. I wouldn’t wish to miss this momentous union, after all.” He then turned back to Myrafiora and gave a small wave, “Good travels to you, Talmyr. Until we meet again!” And with that, she and Zenos could depart. The Rangian Vanguard detachment assigned to the protection of Zenos had already been prepared for travel, and so there was no delays in departure. The Emperor meanwhile mentally celebrated this victory, as all went perfectly as far as he was concerned. He could move onto the next part of his plan, and that meant making a call to that Monrio fellow.

Later, aboard the Jade Frigate, Prince Zenos was in a state of mental preparation when his bride-to-be entered the room, pacing around a bit as he tried to come up with a script in his mind. He knew all too well what he had to do, and he was very nervous about trying to win over another family, especially a powerful one like the Galgatyens. He did calm as his Myrafiora entered, and her patting was quite helpful to get him to calm down further. Although, like her, he was still stressed, “Thanks, in truth I am still really worried. But, you’re right, we gotta share. So, uhm… What’s your family expecting of me? Do I look alright? What might make your grandfather angry? And how fast do I need to learn Urvan? O-oh, I'll have to make the guards learn Urvan too, so they don’t get in the way...” He paused, sighing to calm himself, “No, can’t get carried away. One step at a time, and I won’t mess this up. Just need a little help. So, okay, just tell me about your family.” He smiled at Myrafiora, still nervous but now getting his mind straight.

Melyphis looked rather surprised herself as Tyfrondor named Tamour the Union's Minister of War, a rather huge leap but in her eyes a rather deserving one. She was biased in this case but he was the one that was helping to lead the battle of Duxton that ultimately lead to her and her sisters capture for her to be in this situation to begin with. Once the Minister calls on her she gladly stands at attention and salutes to him "Glady Minister Tamour. To the best of my ability!" She say as she looks proudly up to the Blue dragon.

Increasing amounts of grumbles came from her chattering segmented jaws as Aloni's comments increase. "Only a fool wouldn't be worried that something they never tested won't go wrong! And no... I don't want to call on her to help me, its degrading having to ask someone younger than me for help..." Clearly she thinks she's still too proud to ask for help.

Heh, might even take advantage of those Thorax lads by setting up near their dig sites. Also, strong drink, you weren't kidding!"

Oh there was no doubt that he could handle it, it would take more than one swig to really get going, but still it was a decently deceptive drink for its taste masking how strong it really is. Piper just smiles as he comments on the drink "Glad you like it, I told you our stuff was pretty different." She says before she taps her lip with her finger to that thought "Not a bad idea... Making shop near the dig site for the miners. I'm pretty sure they'll enjoy stiff drinks for all their hard work. Though doing that alone won't work so I may need to sweeten the pod abit...

Zether was happy to know that the dark force was a force for puns, he shall spread its punny wisdom across the stars. Though for now he was concentrating on flying, keeping up with the simple Island dragoness as he smiles. "It isn't a problem when I'm on land, but I see your point. You were running circles around me back before we got serious. I will be in your care then for getting all this rust off of me." He says as he looks out towards the grand mountains and vast forests of Mondron.

For a moment he was stunned by the naturally beauty of it all as felt a sense of pride welling up inside of him. This place felt more familiar than the sandy shores he just left behind.
