Funny. I remember reading about some christian sects that in order to return to the innocence before the fall were rather keen in nudism.

It would be cute if it wasn't for the trail of destruction left behind, to watch how some people still are digging in the trash can of history trying to revive the dead and deadly ideological residues of the most destructive human ideologies.
You are not by far the first to compare "communism" to a disease. Here, the Spanish Mengele.

(And if the pattern seems familiar is because the dictatorships of the late seventies in South America copied him deliberately).

What is the nation statistic that you'd like to raise the most?

I don't answer issues very often, but when I do I try to figure out what would benefit my economy. :)

I am in an endless hunt to end the prohibition. I thought I was just slowing down alcohol production for a bit, but then they gave me the policy that now booze is banned.

Hey, Guiness Freaks, can we have some beer for, uh... Scientific experiments? It's totally not for a state-sponsored black market

I try to raise Scientific Advancement as much as possible. I decided that my nation gets future tech in RP once I'm in the Top1% most advanced.

The problem is I try to raise a lot of stats at once: Safety (already my best), Law Enforcement, Public Education, Intelligence, Defense Forces, Health, Human Development Index, Eco Friendliness, Environmental Beauty, Tourism, Arms Manufacturing, Integrity.

Many of these are almost mutually exclusive, such as boosting the Arms Industry without lowering most of the other stats. It's also difficult to keep a strong Law Enforcement without lowering Civil Rights.

You have to ask? There is a reason that The Two Tubbies had a bigger hot tub installed yesterday! Treadwellia loooooves the Obesity statistic.

Yeah, that's always a pain >.>

There is an advantage to having a big, warm, bubbly hot tub in the royal palace in a perpetually snowy Piggy Cliff. It means that The Two Tubbies can enjoy cleaning Themselves up while staying nice and toasty! However, just as commonly, it gives The Royal Rotundities somewhere fun to nap after indulging in the daily Five or Six Lunches, as is the case right now. Snores and belly gurgles rumble from within the bathroom today, prompting occasional giggles from the two elderly Bellies sitting guard outside the door.

I specified the method of execution and obesity increased. Executions are not public events where you would expect food to be consumed so what's going on there?

But are they public events? That isn't clear from your post.

They are not.

Folks eligible for execution commonly get last meals.

They might get extremely large, Tubbian-sized meals. :)

Weather and Environmental Beauty are the two I focus most on improving when I actually bother to answer an issue instead of just ignore them.

I watched a few videos about it on YouTube and asked if people would like to see a dispatch about Mzeusian pottery making. People said yes so I did some more research about it. That got me interested enough to want to do it for myself.

Tubbius approves of this with many merry mmphs.

Mzeusia and Loftegen 2

After Their nap in the hot tub after Their lunches, Tubbius and Mrs. Tubbius mmph and hrm in agreement: They are hungry again! Requests are sent through phones to the kitchens, and there They will relax in the bubbly warmth while They wait for an unprecedented Seventh Lunch of the day. Her Motherhood blames the MORE babies growing within Her, now a little over two and a half months along.

His Rotundity blushingly blames the same, claiming that He has to keep up a show of solidarity by eating when Her Beloved Bulbousness does. Never mind that He has two extra Tubbs of flabbiness over Her, extra Tubbs that have had nothing at all to do with any baby weight. Her Gravidity nods and chuckles knowingly and softly, pat-patting His Heftiness' immense belly and asking Him when He might be due.

This only sets His Adiposity to turning a bit redder in the face, and that leads to the Two Tubbies both bursting into jolly, body-quivery laughter.

Cheerfulness. Absolutely.

Despite having a top 1 % tier of most "good" stats: HDI, Compassion, Inclusiveness, Security, Employment, etc and living in a ecotechno utopia ... my level of Cheerfulness is catastrophically on the red zone of the low 99 % of stats. The single most glaring defect of Aigania.

So it is either a Hedonic Adaptation (not likely by the game) or some other reason. I have seen suggestions of being tied to the tax rate (something reasonable), but utopias are not cheap (having top of the line, bodies, minds and environment (social, economic, and ecological don't come in discount).

I tried to lowered it ... And destroyed the economy and the crime rate went through the roof. I had to spent a year trying to repair the damage and it wasn't pretty.

So, I am stuck in a terminal/peak state. Any brusque change of direction will be fatal.

(And no, I will discard that they are simply stoic or robotic because Rudeness stat is on Top 11 % O_O).

P.S. So probably I have the equivalent of a RL "suburban" [high tech + "developed" + greenery] nerdy goth/emo/? people. It gives a weird twist of how the nation is.

Aigania wrote:I have seen suggestions of being tied to the tax rate (something reasonable)

You know I have been wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some stats tied to our nation stats, especially stats normally only affected by how long we've been here like population. Imagine if we had a fertility rate stat that was affected by our lifespan/health/hdi/etc. stats and affected our population stats, which in turn affected our economic output stat, and so on.

I too have a low cheerfulness and high rudeness. I attribute the rudness to the fact that the way of straight-talking that is typical for Germans is seen as rude by Anglosaxons (the English especially, who rather try to hide problems and disdain by polite talking "behind the bush"). My rudness seems to rise whenever I answer social issues in a liberal, open fashion. Oh, and Imperial Leonist citizens are also very cool and relaxed talking about sex and other private issues, which the game also seems to subsume under "Rudeness".
