In Treadwellia, Tubbius the Corpulent Claus gives a sad mmph. He remembers little Jimmy Ysar, who was always on the nice list and left lovely plates of carefully arranged cookies next to his offering of milk.

"So I heard the prime minister of Loftgen just kicked the bucket." Kamreon said nonchalantly as his rook took his sisters pawn. "Hate to hear that, we should that goddess of theres a fruit basket or something." "Does she even eat?" Alice shrugged her shoulders "Your geuss is as good as mine." "I thought you knew everything about the gods, dear sister." "Zaharras diffrent from our deities" She moved her bishop into position to take Kamreons queen. "Besides were in a matrix anyways, this world was created by a organization called Lazcorp. I dont know all the details but needless to say none of us actually exist." "Gotta say Alice, I really dont know how to feel about your teachings. Do you really want all of New Vedan thinking the whole worlds nothing but a figment of someone else's imagination?" "Its the truth, these eyes of mine have seen what lies beyond the fourth wall." "Well they should have been looking at this game instead, because that's checkmate!" Alice looked at the board and sighed "best two out of three?" "Your on."

Daniel read over the report once again. “Our southern friends are sending messages. Some big ceremony up in Loftegen.” Daniel reaches for his phone and dialed his aides number. “Send Loftegen’s leadership a birthday card. It’s someone’s birthday so let’s just do everyone.”

The questioning of those in the motel yielded nothing. Mr Klosis was a very secretive man. If he had any enemies, nobody knew who, and although his behaviour could be attributed to him suspecting he was a hunted man, it didn't have to be. Over the next few days, the other people in the motel who had left were tracked down. They to had nothing to say of any significance.

It was three weeks later, as Yousafi was going through the pile of letters. His put one envelope aside and looked at the next. He didn't recognise the handwriting and he drew a knife across the seal.

"Dear Mr Yousafi," the letter read. "I hope I've got your name right. I've included a return address, so if I haven't, let me know. I see your investigation in that horrible murder hasn't gone anywhere. Well maybe you'll do better with this one."

Yousafi's jaw clenched as he continued to read. "Leave your driveway, turn left. Drive about 50 miles..." the directions continued, giving a fully and clear description of where to go.

Yousafi put the letter down just as his wife walked in. She came over, clearly concerned. "Don't touch that!" he yelled pointing to the letter.

"What?" she said, looking at it.

"It's evidence. Don't touch it!"

The officer rang the police department., directing officers to go to the location giving in the letter, and the return address. He then donned gloves and took the letter to the police station, where he handed it over to be deposited in an evidence bag. Then, he raced off to the return address the killer had included. The body wasn't going anywhere, but killer might.

When he jumped from the car, an officer greeted him, pistol holstered. "Looks like a random address. an elderly couple. Both have solid alibis.

Yousafi's hand thumped against the body of the car." He opened the door again, leaned inside and radioed the officers at the other location. A body had been found.

"Middle-aged man like the last one. We'll have to get it examined, but it looks like the same death. Strangulation and blunt force trauma. Dumped a little ways into the woods."

The man on the other end hesitated. "There's a note on the body."

There was silence on both ends as Yousafi's eyes narrowed. "Go on."

"It says 'Best of luck with this one'."

Hello Lazarus!

Today, I'll be posting the first question of the day. If this gets more than five answers, I'll answer it myself.

The first one today is:

Keen trident wrote:Can You Change Your Nation Name?

No. You can only change which letters are capitalised.

Death is certain. The time: uncertain.

Dr. Moran, what was the best advice you've ever been given?

I should make better use of quotes. But to keep it real is the best advice I've ever been given.
