I'm sorry, I got confused as well, it seems.

In my mind, the ship is still able to fight and move, but is moderately damaged. The line about "lights out" was meant to be explained as a temporary loss of power to non-vital systems such as ... lights ... for example. I never followed up with the appropriate post though. Will do now;

As his ship was losing atmosphere and some electrical systems were faulty, captain Erik Neumüller decided to de-orbit for some repairs. The only place in the Southern hemisphere were such repairs could be carried out at the moment was the loyalist part of New vedan.
As the Sonnenwind fired its brake thrusters, the Dernellian ships closed in. Erik Neumüller used this moment to fire a volley of lower powered lasers at both of them, which temporarily blinded the enemy and allowed the Sonnenwind to descend. They would be coming in from the west towards Guana City, where they hoped to find some engineers capable of performing the required repairs.

On approach, a huge ICBM was launched towards them from Cossack Peoples. The crew made sure to pulverise it while it was still accelerating. Almost as afterthought, they fired some low powered lasers at the Compact fleet, which caused some scorching damage or secondary explosions among several ships, without landing any critical hits or even sinking a ship. The return fire missed mostly thanks to their hypersonic approach speed.

Finally, the ship came to a soft landing near the Vedanese Star destroyer which had hosted the diplomatic conference earlier.

"What? A Cossack army deep within your borders? Must be a GPS glitch in a heavily armed trade caravan, for sure."

"The Cossacks have sent an envoy, Commander" Ingrid Immhake looked at the seaman who had brought her these news. She had thought her role in this war might have been limited to steering the freighters to safety - which she had done with limited success, as two freighters and 37 crews had been lost - but alas it was not so. Reconnaissance footage had shown the Cossack advance while the three pashtuns were still on the Cossack site of the border. The South Sea Command had informed Ingrid of the threat, but had left her with little hope of timely reinforcements, now that the naval Battle of the Strait had been lost.

The gamble to send the freighters without sufficient escorts, in the hope of avoiding a war with the Compact, had been a mistake. Now the General Staff was scratching together whatever forces they could muster, but due to the enormous distance from the Imperium, only Raumwaffe spacecraft on a suborbital flight path could reach them within any useable timeframe. And until those arrived, the Merchant Mariners were on their own, while the enemy was evidently already on their doorstep.

"Bring him in", Ingrid replied. Minutes later, six Imperials armed with M22A2 carbines brought a fierce looking Kozak warrior with a white flag into her provisional container office.

Ingrid opened her arms in a welcoming gesture. "Willkommen auf Imperialem Grund und Boden. Sie sind hier um sich zu ergeben, nehme ich an? Ingrid smiled, but her face turned into a frown when she realized that the Cossack could not understand her. She herself did not speak any other languages than her mother tongue.

OOC: If you want to sing along, use this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96rC4X_KWl4 from the 1968 Oliver Twist musical.

IC: At 4:38 am, a lone hippie wondered onto deck. he sat a moment on the deck, looking up at the night sky. Then he stood and began to sing quietly to himself.

"A man's got a stomach hasn't he?
Kaleing apart, hasn't he?
And though I'd be the first one to say that I wasn't a saint
I'm finding it hard to be really as green as they paint."

"I'm reviewing the situation.
Can a fellow be a hippie all his life?
All the Cossacks, and machination
Better settle down and get myself a wife"

The hippie grinned, walking more quickly across the deck.

"And a wife could cook and grow for me
And come for me, and go for me"

The hippie paused, all his cheer having left him.

"And go for me and nag at me
The finger she will wag at me
The smoothies she will take from me
A normie, she'll make from me
I think I'd better think it out again!"

He started to walk briskly in the other direction, staring at the entrance to the bowels of the ship.

"A wife you can keep, anyway
I'd rather sleep anyway."

He looked back towards the houses of Mzeusia.

"Left without anyone in the world
And I'm starting from now!"

He ran across the deck and stopped, hands gripping the banisters for the steps that led off Hippie Power.

"So how to leave kale
And stopping taking drugs?
So how?"

He started to move down the metal steps.

"I'm reviewing the situation
I must quickly look up ev'ryone I know
Normal people, with no migration
Who can help me have a normal life to show!"

"I will go to the shopping malls
And have a house with four big walls
And wave at all the normal folk
With friendliness and no more coke
Befitting of my title sir
Good morning to you, Landlubber!
I think I'd better think it out again."

He dashed part-way up the steps, before coming to a halt.

"So where shall I go, somebody?
Who do I know? Nobody!
All my dearest companions
Have always been hippies and kale
So at my time of life I should start
Turning over new leaves?"

He turned around, looking again at the houses by the dock.

"I'm reviewing the situation
If you want to eat, you've got to earn a Moe!
Is it such a humiliation
For a hippie to want a job and go?"

He began a slow walk down the steps.

"So a job I'm getting, possibly
I wonder who the boss'll be?
I wonder if he'll take to me?
What bonuses he'll make to me?
I'll start at eight and finish late.
At normal rate, and all, but wait!"

He paused, glancing over his shoulder at the Hippie Power.
"I think I'd better think it out again"

He made his way back up the steps. His feet touched the deck once again."

"What happens when I'm seventy?"

He lay down on the deck, looking up at the night sky.

"Must come a time, seventy
When you're old and it's cold
And who cares if you live or you die?
Your one consolation's the kale
You may have put by."

He stood up, turning his back to the steps.

"I'm reviewing the situation
I'm a hippie and a hippie I shall stay!
You'll be seeing no transformation
But it's wrong to be a hippie in ev'ry way"

I don't want nobody shunned for me
Or made to grow the kale for me
This hippie life is not for me
It's getting far too green for me
Don't want no one to stand by me
But who will find a job for me
There is no in between for me
But who will change the scene for me?
I think I'd better think it out again!"

The man's shoulder's slumped and he walked back across the deck and into the depths of Hippie Power.

Thankfully, Brigadier General Rostov had made doubly sure that his words were to hit them; going so far as to call in the aid of a linguistics professor at a university in the outskirts of Nova Basan to help translate. The lieutenant, frowning at not understanding the woman, merely pulled a worn piece of paper from a flap on his uniform and, upon clearing his throat and tentatively glancing around to determine whether it was appropriate, began to read his message with minor difficulty in pronunciation.

Kommunikation beenden."

Pyotr offered the paper up for their examination with a proud smile on his face; he might not have pronounced everything correctly, but he did pronounce them somewhat.

The Dragon, and The Drake spun around for breaking burns, then after slowing down so they wouldn't exit earth's orbit they began to move towards The Hydra, now missing its entire rear. The Torpedoes that were launched were matching their pace the entire time, waiting to be picked up as there are no targets nearby. The Dragon released its grappling arm, and latched to The Drake, then The Drake did the same, but to The Hydra.

Some of the crew from The Drake went to recover any survivors from The Hydra, as well as any supplies. The crew didn't have to bring vacuum suits, or even depressurize the airlock. It was standard combat procedure to suit up, and de-pressurize the ship in case the ships hull got holed, that way the thrust vector wouldn't be thrown off with an explosive decompression. The crew member didn't have to bring any suits either, if the people didn't have them on, they were dead.

In the end The Hydra had only lost their mechanic who ended their life to save the rest by dropping the core of the reactor. They received a lethal dose of radiation to the point of dying in under a few minutes. The suit helped, but it couldn't help that. The two other ships managed to rescue the four remaining crew of The Hydra. They also managed to save as many resources as they could before they de-orbited the entire wreckage. Both remaining ships were now over crewed, The Ancile class was only meant to crew six people max, but the crew managed to create some extra space in the cargo hold where they were able to seat a crash couch, and some basic necessities. Both remaining ships would then safely de-orbit and land on Dernellian landing pads for safe repair, and resupply.

The day after all three crews families got together to hold a funeral for the lost crew member. The remaining crews couldn't attend as they were bed ridden recovering from their time in micro-gravity. The casket was closed and was carried by eight navy men to the Dernellian burial grounds for soldiers. Located next to the Purgadellhi graveyard, dedicated to Purgadellhi's corpses, so far only three graves were taken, but in the soldiers graveyard, there were hundreds. almost seventy graves were open awaiting their new arrivals from the strait. Some would be open casket, many would be closed. Many would weep, many will cry, more won't be able to attend due to their duties in war. The worst part, it's likely it won't end here, that's the thing on almost every widows mind at the funerals, but no one would say it, saying it makes it impossible. This war can end, the question is if the people are willing to end it.

Lazarus domais

So we are doing a Meet and Greet and I decided to actually participate. So my main nation is Domais, pronounced Doemaze but most people just call me Dom. I am 17 years old from New York State, I live in a town of no more than 40 thousand people. My adoptive Mother, or just my Mother worked as a lunch lady, Secretary and a lot of other things but is currently retired and my adoptive Father, or just my Father worked as a real-estate agent and is also retired. We don't talk about my biological parents, what we do talk about is my siblings, I have two brothers and five sisters, although I have only met 3 of my Sisters and 1 of my brothers. Although I am 17 my eldest brother is like 40 and my eldest sister is like 38, 39 with a daughter and grandson. My niece who is 21 or 22, which if you remember I am only 17 which makes my half-niece 4 or 5 years older than me and because my niece has a son, I am a Grand/Great-Uncle. I haven't met all my siblings nor my niece or Grand-Nephew and until recently I didn't even know my eldest siblings even existed, I only found out after took a DNA test and spent a few months creating a family tree on ancestry.

My current occupation is unemployed or not even unemployed as that requires you to be actively seeking a job which I am not, although I am an aspiring computer scientist and have been accepted at a State College. I have never worked a day in my life nor have I ever used a stove as my parents have always cooked for me. My hobbies are listening to Music, watching Anime, playing video games and the occasional hike.

As for this game, I created my first nation over 3 years ago and didn't start playing it seriously until like a little over a year ago and I mostly do GP as I find role-play to be quite time consuming. As for this region I have been a Shareholder for over a year.

"The compact could probably blow a hole into the sheild for us, but those guns up there are mighty powerful and have a great view of the straight, if we can get ahold of them then we could use them to rain hell on [nation]Leonism[nation]'s armada." "Which means if we lose...Then Alice could use the guns to protect the invaders against the compacts navy, some of those guns could probably hit Cossack Peoples too." "Well then, lets go take those guns!!"

OOC It would probably be best if you took control of Kamreon's troops during the fight for the gun battery, and ill play as Alices men.

Cpl Miller sat in the transports as it rushed towards the mountains or as the locals called it, the "Emperor's Spine." An odd choice for a name but he wasn't paid to judge. His commander was busy talking with HQ about bringing in air support to attack Guana City while the guns are being secured. The transports came to a slow stop and Miller stood up. He filed out with the rest of the Marines. The Commander was busy preparing for the assault and Miller noticed a couple of artillery guns. Checking his gun one last time, he prepared himself. It was time to take the Mountain.

Supply ships were inbound to the Cossack fleet, having stocked themselves at Korf and now steamed north-by-northeast to give the Eastern Fleet a second wind of anti-ship missiles and torpedoes. Escorting them came a small supply of corvettes pulled away from the bay of Korf with a fresh crew.

Good News Everyone! Or not. Probably not.

While the Cianlandian 9th fleet is still on its way to the South Sea battlegrounds, the Emperor has decided to be provocative and begin issuing letters of marque. Remember, those Cianlandian ships aren't pirates, they're privateers.
Arr.

Glorious society

Minister Stephen walked amongst what he referred to as his "flock". Whereas most preachers of Angelism were brimstone and fire, screaming about the need to worship God and Daniel or face hell, Stephen preferred to use calmer tactics to calm the screaming hordes of people begging for a reason. This war had brought many to his church, all seeking a calming voice that offered no judgment. It wasn't Stephen's place to judge, for that lay in the hands of God and Daniel but he was there to listen and guide them onto a righteous path that would save them.

He laid his hand on the forehead of a crying woman. Her prayers became slightly more fevered. He cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention. "I wish to thank you all for coming today. We are here to support our soldiers. Those who fight so we can live safely. The brave men and women who face the soulless abominations on the frontlines. Blessed be. Now then, the deacons will be coming around to lead prayers." He brought a couple of his deacons towards him and directed them towards the most unstable and lost looking ones.

French willeon and Cossack Peoples

The merchant fleet, upon receiving a warning from the Department of Commerce of potential privateers, was worried. However, listed further down in the transcript of their orders was a command to head North and turn around the continent due east, then curve around the globe back to port. It made sense to the captain; if they headed south, they would be at risk of capture by Custadia or Leonism, so they would be better off taking the northern way at a brisk pace.

The merchant fleet discussed their decision before composing a message to the Mzeusian authorities that they were leaving through the bridge; leave the Department of Commerce the bill. They steamed through the passages through the unfinished bridge, unknowingly passing right over the FRCPN Matrioshka, who followed right in their baffles.

“Look Mama, we are already there!” the tiny and emaciated girl whispered in the group as they were crawling toward the border. Alas it was too late. A Pit Lord riding a Nightmare has spotted them with his hunting Cerberus.
“RUN!!”

Delta-9 accelerated to the border, it cannot risk to cause an incident so it can only watch for the distance as the refugees run to the river with the demon approaching them lefting a trailblaze of fire.

“We are almost there!” they shouted, the Pit Lord has nearly reached them, Delta-9 was on the other side on top of a small hill. Then a howl thundered the night, a genetically engineered escaped dragon, waiting to the chance to cross to the Empire hiding beneath the waters, awakened by the magic of the Demon and launched towards the fleeing slaves with its mouth wide open. An orange flame began to form between its jaws.

“Delta-9 to Border Control. Red Alert. Enemy Detected. Primary Function. Protection of Lives”, “Target Adquired. Opening Fire.” and a blue streak of Cherenkov radiation trailed the plasma shot, filling the air with an ozone smell, towards the dragon. Unfortunately the Pit Lord shooted at the same time a mana enhanced fireball filling the air with a sulphurous stench towards the escaping slaves, while the Dragon was about to incinerate them.
