What are you talking about? Who is this guy?

Oh, I really don't know, but it seems that he was/is jumping around groups, trying to find one to endorse him as WA delegate. He must have thought saying "Go the[sic] Red Sox!" would earn him instant favor, I guess. It didn't work.

I see. To be fair, this region is pretty lacking in flavor. Or much activity at all.

60 years ago today, the Beggs and Cobb Tannery burned down in Winchester. To this day, this remains the largest fire in Winchester history.

Tannery? That would have been a horrible fire. The way they built things in those days, sawdust insulation, and all the chemicals.

The place was already closed down, but the area's soil remains polluted there to this day. Winchester had a lot of tanneries burn down throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. I'd assume our far more industrialized northern neighbors who named their high school's sports teams after the industry experienced far more, but the Beggs and Cobb fire was really an important event in this town's history, with the last significant vestige of factory and smokestack style heavy industry vanishing from the face of the town in spectacular fashion.

Massachusetts needs an N-Day faction! We need to protect our state and show our supremacy!

Don't know about "need"

What else is this Nationstates region for but to represent Massachusetts on this website? We are obliged to make use of this region, and not simply let it sit idly by, without action or purpose.

Letting it sit idly by without action or purpose EXACTLY represents the Bay State. I mean, have you ever been to Lynn or Revere?

Fair enough, Peabody. I understand some areas of our state may not be the most "happening" places, but should we not at least maintain the appearence of activity for the world of Nationstates? Look at Vermont, a state-region that has flourished, while this region has failed to keep this message board remotely busy.

Vermont was invaded so that the next time the founder dies off there it can be cleared out and refounded. It's just that the founder probably does not recognize that fact yet.

Comparing this region to Vermont is not accurate. Sure, once Vermont is either refounded or the founder boots the invaders it will be once again like this region.

As for making this region "something" then I would suggest that you go right ahead. So far, I think this region only has a couple players so it may not succeed.

As for being in Mass., the first time I was there was a liberty call. We landed in Boston instead of New York, weather as I recall. Because the town limits were not important enough for me to pay attention to which town I had been in, other than Boston, Cambridge and parts of Cape Cod.

Hey I 93! You're partially located in Winchester! Only a little bit, but I'm sure this town appreciates your service regardless!

Now now now, we all like Tom Terrific here in Massachusetts. He's the biggest sports hero in a city of sports heroes! At least wait a couple weeks, until he most likely leaves New England in free agency before you start to say such stuff.

COVID is all over Massachusetts. Multiple Winchester residents are infected, and a number of activities have been cancelled. Our town wishes the rest of the world luck with this horrible epidemic, and hope that the amount of disruption it causes is less then what we suffer here.

Wishing you luck in this COVID crisis, Winchester MA, from us in Essex to you in Middlesex! No confirmed cases in Beverly as of yet, but social distancing is the official policy here—that's for sure!

Unfortunately, there have been several confirmed cases here in Winchester, and many more across Middlesex County. We wish the best to the men and women of Winchester Hospital who are fighting this disease.

Unfortunately, it turns out that we have now had our first five confirmed cases in Beverly. It's a public health emergency!
