Post self-deleted by Dwarven mines.
May I ask why? -I don't encourage that attitude towards some others, my goal and roll is just to keep away raiders and that every has a good time- and I know this kind of events may be a little stressful for some...
Noldoria was angry because I infected people.
Ok, I don't encourage that as i said. But as a region we want to see if we can survive Z-Day... This year it was not very planned by the Council nor anyone in fact most of the nations hear are innactive that why it is so hard to control the zombies... We are like 7 nations (without puppets) fighting for the whole region.
This always bothers me, because we don't have an active community. And when we do, is just a very little group of nations...
Wow, it looks very green up there! Impressive!
Next year, we need explicit arrangements beforehand. An anti-zombie committee?
Noldoria, Dwarven mines, and A Balrog
I need some sleep.
Well, it's the best score so far in this event, so congratulations to everyone who helped. With an outstanding action of:
- Bombadil
- Dwarf
- Lady eowyn
- Lobelia sackville-baggins
- Luinil
- Middleearth
- Thorin oakenshield
- Tolkien
And of course an honorable mention and impeccable coordinated execution of the puppets:
Looks like Middle Earth got #19 in the "Most Survivors & No Infected Category" - that seems pretty good to me. I am curious, however - and would like to see a ranking - of percentage survivors & no infected (for regions w/ atleast, say, 100 billion total population). Anyone feel like compiling that? By my calculation, we ended with just over 50 billion dead, giving us a survivor fraction of just over %94.38. I for one never shot anyone. I'm curious how we compare with other regions in that regard.
Dwarven mines, I will filter out nations that I know to be puppets from your list of participants, giving:
Bombadil
Dwarf
Lady eowyn
Thorin oakenshield
Dwarven mines (I saw you sending out cure missiles also, so don't forget to list yourself)
Luinil
Middleearth
Tolkien
Lobelia sackville-baggins
Noldoria
On a completely unrelated note, Lady Eowyn, do you recall how imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Well, look at this nation: The Lady Eowyn
The Lady of Lorien, Thorin oakenshield, Dwarven mines, and Luinil
Thank you!, I really appreciate this information.
Now that the event is over, I will open the border now but remember...
Thanks for the shout-out :) It's hardly deserved, though, as I was only able to participate quite late and then only sporadically. I do wish these events would be held on a weekend...
Nice looking dispatch, Dwarven mines. Did you put your flag's symbol of the crossed picks and hammer on Gimli's chest-plate, or was it already a part of the image?
I decided to grab the region activity feed from the time range of ZDay and compile some statistics. If anyone wants to know how they did - like how many cure-strikes you launched, the total population you cured, median, std dev, whatever - let me know and I'll send it to you.
Lady eowyn, Dwarven mines, and Dwarf
Yeah similar, mostly I wiped up a couple million on nations Noldoria had mostly cured. Although I get it's alphabetical I definitely don't deserve top billing.
Dwarven mines and Dwarf
Thank you for noticing, i do most of my own images in the dispachts I made.
This one in particular in from a screenshot of the hobbit (is just a random customized dwarf to make it look more like a Eastern Dwarfs as i imagine them, is not Gimli)
But you help in the fight... we are 97 nations and only 11 fought for Middle Earth!
Oh, very cool. It turned out nicely, well done.
What do you use to make the images? I ask because I've been slowly teaching myself to use Inkscape over the past year, and would be interested to hear other folks' methods. My process now resembles a cobbled-together catastrophe, but it gets the job done and is quite a fun time.
Well thank you very much, to be frank I did not put much effort to that one in particular, I'll send you a telegram with what I use to make images.
I lost my ring, has anyone seen it?
Soramra, Saruman the white, A Balrog, and Smeagollum
[looks at Sauron's post, slaps Grima to hurry message Orc chiefs to send search parties into Anduin Vale]
Dwarven mines and Smeagollum
Yeah i want to modify the WE and put more Middle Earth related things but i don't have the power to do so...
As for the flag, it seems to me a very good idea, to use or create an "official seal" of the dispatches. Like that dispatch was approved by vote of the council and the inhabitants of the region.
