Due to the socialist economy of the nation, the Republican Armed Forces of Afrikan Union had remained stagnant and largely undeveloped. For the past decade, the economy has become more and more centralized. Some leading politicians such as Chairman Norman Thomas have wanted to continue the status quo while Premier Max Schachtman and Secretary Arthur Horner desire a more centralized and authoritarian economy.
Meanwhile, the employment rate around the country is increasing due to the policies that put a strong focus on working-class Afrikan men. Women are now allowed to work on high demanding jobs that were men only allowed back in the monarchy era.
