Today is the presidential election!
As most of you know, I have been a part of this region since the early days of the Confederation of Conservative Nations, back in early 2017. We've traveled a long road, with many twists and turns, ups and downs. I'm proud of the community we've formed and the principles we've stood for. There are trials we've emerged through that have tempered and made us stronger. There are things we will face in the future that will test us. But I am confident that no matter what happens, our region will remain the bastion of conservatism on NationStates.
I am running for president to offer my experience and vision for a new future. You know me, you know my past here, and I hope that what I've proven over the years will be something you consider beneficial to the future of our region.

Today is day that’ll set the course for our new region, and we have a choice to make.
I have not been here very long. I was in the FCN since January, and I have served this region ever since. But in my short time here, I have poured time and effort into this region, from being one of the two main writers of our Constitution to running our role play.
We are on a path set for greatness, and I will continue that path. Vote Logon!

So our president Bolsonaro have COVID-19. Millions of prayers from fanatical followers for his life begun, and other millions of prayers against his life begun too.
The problem is that our beloved great leader says he is taking chloroquine.
The bastard knows how to play dirty, really.
Well, Brazil don't have money for necessary meds and we are running out of them, basic meds to treat the COVID-19 people.
We could have done it but our president, when even Trump listened to medics against it, put a lor of the industrial base to create chroloquine.

Well, he will probably use his cure (saying that Chloroquine was used on him) as an excuse to USE CHLOROQUINE instead of the right meds on the healthcare system killing millions, and if fails he will probably blame the lack of breath equipment, and his supporters will call even other conservatives like me "communists", and doing it he sooner or later will put true socialists on power, because he already ruined the right-wing that never knew true conservatism until some years ago, but political idolatry have taken it's place.
Every conservative, every non-socialist will be considered a Bolsonaro supporter, and of course a nazi soab that must me beaten, silenced and punished, we already lose our voice on social media, soon we will lose our voice on anyplace, because people will refuse to give job to us, to buy things from us, we will need to pretend that we think and support the other leftist "great leader".
I'm tired of great leaders, Jesus Christ is the only leader I really trust.

You don't have to enter every event. But would look good to see other members take part. It's been said due to Covid-19 they will be getting more entries this year.
Would be nice to show the 3 dominant sports regions on NS, that other regions are just as good. So if you are into sports RP, I highly recommend it.

Today we decide the future of our region for the next months and the future of the region on long term.
The election we have today will heavily influence the course of the unification plans with the ACS.
I promise unity, everything i have done on this region was for the betterment of the region i was in this region since August 2018.
I have seen many faces and i am an expert on the intrigues this region had.
If i win i do promise efforts to cease any partisanship from the few members that remain, we have been very damaged by internal disputes for power.
Our enemies have laughed and used the opportunities for weakening our region and the conservatism.
You know my conservative mentality and my loyalty for this region even when i was exiled by the senate for months.

Description: Fluvannia accepted re-nomination to run for a second-consecutive term (and fourth overall). This election marks the first time a candidate has run in five consecutive elections, as The Dodo Republic was nominated once again. Dear lord, Dodo
Results: With 81.0% turnout on the first ballot, Vostochnyye ravniny advanced to a runoff with seven votes. Fluvannia and The Legion of Mankind each received five votes, and The Dodo Republic earned none.
An impromptu poll was held to determine the second participant in the runoff, with The Legion of Mankind earning 12 votes and Fluvannia earning six (representing a turnout of 81.8%).
In the runoff, The Legion of Mankind defeated Vostochnyye ravniny 11 votes to seven, again representing 81.8% turnout.
Description: Declining to run for a second term, Logar chose to aim for a return to the quiet halls of the High Court. This election marks the first time a candidate has run in four consecutive elections, as The Dodo Republic was nominated once again.
Results: With 81.8% turnout on the first ballot, Fluvannia returned to the Blue House on the first ballot, earning eleven votes. The Dodo Republic received four votes, and Furbish islands earned three.
Description: Declining to run for a second full term, West Phoenicia instead elected to hand the reins to a successor. This election tied the record for most accepted candidates with four, and also marked the first time in the RCN that a presidential election has gone to a runoff following the failure of any candidate to win a majority on the first ballot. It also marks the first time a candidate has run in three consecutive elections, as The Dodo Republic was nominated yet again.
Results: With 65% turnout on the first ballot, Logar and Attancia advanced to the first runoff in RCN history, gaining six and five votes, respectively. The Dodo Republic and Hrvada earned one vote each.
With 52.4% turnout in the runoff election, Logar captured seven votes to Attancia's four to become the next President of the RCN.
Description: With the partial term of West Phoenicia seeing a stabilization of regional affairs, the incumbent was nominated to run for a full term. This is the first time an incumbent President has run for re-election since the Republic's reformation.
Results: With 65.4% turnout, West Phoenicia won re-election with 10 votes on the first ballot. The Dodo Republic finished second with four votes, and Npcwest florida earned three votes in this second attempt at the presidency.
Description: Following the Logon incident, four different candidates were nominated for the snap election to take the reins from Acting President Fluvannia. This election saw the most candidates nominated and accepted to date, with four names on the ballot.
Results: With 57.7% turnout, West Phoenicia won with 10 votes on the first ballot. Furbish islands garnered three, Libervalley two, and Npcwest florida zero.
Description: Eager to move on from a tumultuous end to the Viridus presidency (a term that was finished by Fluvannia after Viridus fled the region), incumbent Interior Minister Logon was the only eligible candidate nominated for this election.
Results: With 50% turnout, Double Bacon Logon Deluxe won with 10 votes to one apiece for Logon, Logon Jr., and Logon with Cheese.
Description: Taking a cue from his predecessor, incumbent New waldensia declined a nomination for a second term. Only two candidates were nominated, former Associate Justice Viridus and former Minister of Immigration Blueflarst. The election was low key one, with very little campaigning by either side. This election also has the distinction of being the first election without members of the Fluvannia Cabinet running for the Presidency.
Results: With 57.7% turnout, Justice Viridus won with 11 votes to Minister Blueflarst's 4. With 73.3% to 23.7%, Viridus' 46.6% margin of victory is the highest ever margin in Republic history in a contested election.
Description: With the popular incumbent Fluvannia declining a nomination for a second term, the race for the first contested election was on. Incumbent Chancellor New waldensia, incumbent Minister of the Interior Logon, and citizen Blueflarst accepting nominations for the Presidency. The proposed merger with the ACS dominated the campaign, and with two members of a popular administration in the running, it proved to a formidable election, with Logon emphasizing his role in the Constitution and Ministry of the Interior, and New Waldensia calling attention to his long and storied history in the Republic and its predecessors.
Results: With 61.7% turnout, Chancellor New Waldensia won the first competitive election in RCN history (12 votes, 57.1%). Minister of the Interior Logon received 7 votes for 33.33% of the vote, and Blueflarst received 2 votes for 9.5% of the vote.
Description: Eager to move on from the title of Interim President, incumbent Fluvannia asked for a snap election for President, and his request was granted. While other nominees such as Tesyky and Viridus were nominated, they declined their nomination.
Results: With 65.71% turnout, challenger Fluvannia But On Line Two won 60.9% of the vote, taking 14 votes out of 23 cast.
