Hold your horses, we're still in the atmosphere.

Space kraken?

I used to hunt the krakens as a hobby, but then one almost removed one of my legs. I currently have it's skull mounted back home.

Howard, I realise there are grav-chutes on the shuttle, but we will NOT be using them anytime soon.

The federation-state of lazy people

Yay. Largest basket weaving sector in the region. Yawn. Maybe that's because the majority of college degrees in the Federation State of Lazy People is in the area of Underwater Basket Weaving.

And in other news, my nation is now at 10 billion. That's 10 billion people, not pounds. Yay Lazy People.

Don't. Some of those 'chutes are in pretty bad shape.

OOC: I remember seeing a video on I think r/transformers. It was the song "Man Behind The Slaughter" (I know, lame FNaF song), with a picture of Shockwave.

OOC: Some truck-driving moron decided to come out of nowhere and honk at me while I was out bikin'. I was this close holds up thumb and index, close together to stopping and cursing him out, but nooo, I was too soft. Or maybe I decided not to worsen the damn situation. I don't know, honestly. 2020 sucks hard.

OOC: I FINALLY landed on Minmus, with good ol' Bill Kerman piloting the lander (also the only kerbal I put on the mission). He was about to leave, I timewarped because I wanted to get a screenshot of him and the lander in front of a rising sun, when the Kraken struck and destroyed my lander. Now Bill's stranded, and given how hard it is for me to get a Minmus intercept....

(WARNING: Timewarp with extreme caution.)

Yet Another OOCTM: I tried to get to Duna in a nuclear probe, but somehow missed the transfer (as in never got an intercept to Duna), despite following the instructions in the Duna tutorial on the KSP Wiki. What am I doing wrong?

could be a number of things, your trajectory might be taking you just outside Duna's SOI, so try fiddling with your maneuvers close to duna. Sure, might eat a little ∆V, but later on it will be easier to get intercepts correctly. Basically, you have the choice of using more ∆V at later times to ensure your intercepts, or less at an earlier time for economy.

Noted for next Duna mission attempt. I think it's too late to salvage the probe attempt, it's now in keliocentric orbit. Might get it back to Kerbin, I slapped on an LVN and tons of monoprop tanks along with Mk1 LF only tanks, I have over 4000 m/s dV left in that thing.

I was in the right position for an encounter. I timewarped while in the Tracking Station until Duna and Kerbin were at about 45 degrees from each other. I fear I was wrong and that now I have to wait a long time, even at maximum timewarp, to get a transfer window again.

Same here, no crucifictions happening here

Is it weird that I think the continent the KSC is in looks like a knock off version of Africa?

Pax Nerdvana and Hexior

OOC: I just made my first actual orbital rendezvous and docking, launched to an equatorial orbit (did one last night but with a craft already in orbit, without a docking port, and originally launched for a Minmus landing). Station I docked with is literally a command pod, a MPL, a hitchhiker can, 2 solar arrays and a Clamp-O-Tron.

I'll stay in LKO and the Mun for now while I get better at KSP.

So Much OOCs!: Docked again with a different spacecraft. So that settles it: I can do orbital rendezvouses and docking, although ludicrously inefficient (I timewarped until the Space Ferry and the Kerbin got close enough).
