No, Johnny was Johnny Carsen, who hosted The Tonight Show for so many years. It may have been just an American thing. His co-host, Ed McMahan, would introduce him with "Heeeeeere's Johnny!" (With the long drawn-out "here's".) Jack N. broke thru the door with a hatchet, with enough room to stick his maniacal face thru the hole, and did the here's Johnny thing. You didn't know whether to laugh or scream.
