Announcement from the Chairman of the Unity Party

It is with pleasure that I announce that an agreement has been made between the Unity Party and the Thaecian People's Party to expand our coalition from the Senate into the House of Commons as well.

I am optimistic that this new trans-Congressional coalition will usher in a new era of productivity and prosperity for Thaecia's legislature.

Thank you to Senator The Islamic Country of Honour and MP Creckelenney for making this coalition possible.

It's funny how Unity wants to split the leadership of Congress when negotiating with the the TPU, a larger party, but when negotiating with the TPP, Unity takes both chambers no questions asked.

UNI and TPU are the same size in Congress. 2 Senators each, 3 MPs each.
Any coalition between our two parties would only have been just if we shared the leadership equally across our equal congressional representation.
Unfortunately the TPU was unable to organise itself effectively to carry out the actual terms of our agreement.
