You cannot remotely sabotage things in 3500 BCE. You would need modern technology to do so (The only modern technologies that exist now are the satellite and the miscellaneous ítemes that the time traveler brought.).
Flint is a thing and they know how to use it.
How can they use it when they are dead? I killed everyone in the raid and the flint can't magically ignite the liquid.
When they see that they are screwed, they ignite them and run away. But if they do get captured, they always have some strapped to them and they ignite them which explodes them, the bottles, and everyone around them.
