We have been warned. Our leader had a vision yesterday that this was going to happen. He saw bad things come out of his accepting of the offer that he described as : "This world is not ready for the vision I had yesterday". He warned us of you, and that you seek to destroy a civilization which he described as : "The land of the trees"

"I know not of this "Land of the Trees". I merely wish to be able to explore amd trade with whatever lies beyond your lands. However, if this land of the trees is plotting against us, you are correct. So tell me, are they plotting against us? If so, you are with them and are our enemy, if not, why do you stop us?"

We know not of its whereabouts....Only the chief of our horde knows. He hasn't been keen on revealing its location...
Anyways, we have no connections to this land, nor are we plotting against your horde. We will give free passage, only if 100 Crowns of copper are issued to the Horde of Yenisei (modern Kyrgyzstan)

"Then it is agreed." He gets up and rummages around in a container pushing aside what seems to be bloody sausages impaled on sticks. He grabs the copper and hands it to the ambassador. "There, now go."

"WHAT?"

We are afraid that this is the will of the Khanate. Your soldiers could cause problems to our Horde.

Internal conflict, and the possibility of some of our Hordes in the glorious Union may refuse that foreign horsemen enter their lands.

"Do you have any union territories that no horde controls?"

Our Union is comprised by a collection of Hordes. The Central Horde, or Kelteminar Horde, makes the laws and elects the Khans. Other hordes can respect the deals or not. The Hordes of Central Asia have accepted, but the other hordes haven't replied to the letters yet.

"What other hordes?"

Western turkum

Facepunchs alt for the rp wrote:"What other hordes?"

The Bahceseray Horde in Crimea, the Kholtava Horde in Dacia, the Jerkes, Zichi, Kuban, Kalimi, and Toklin hordes in the Caucasus, and I won't name all of them.

The Territorial Expansion

The Western Turkum Khanate has settled on lands near the Eastern Turkum Khanate. They worry that this may be provocative.
