Fair enough. Who do you think will replace her as CDU leader?

Well, she isn't CDU leader anymore since Dec '18.

Kramp-Karrenbauer isn't very popular though is she?

Nuremgard wrote:Kramp-Karrenbauer isn't very popular though is she?

I don't like her. She is more conservative than Merkel. And I doubt she will be Chancellor one day. There is a good chance that there will be a Green Chancellor one day. But this remains to be seen.

A Green Chancellor would be awesome.

Maybe the next gov will be a CDU/Green government. But who will know.

(Due to unexpected vacation plans... The Equestrian Election Poll will not happen on the 1st. Instead.... Telegram me your choice, if you wish to vote, and I'll pick a winner between the 1st and 3rd of December.)

The candidates:

Artyom Niklovich: (Belarus) Wants to ensure the strength of the military, make the nation self efficient, and end international trade.

Viktor Chuikov: (Urals) Also wants to increase the military, institute a defensive policy, decrease funding to most areas.

Nikolai Dragovich: (Ukraine) Strong military, look into more powerful weapons, anti-capitalist.

Josef Reznov: (Volga) Strong military, repair Russo-German relations, decrease disappearance rate.

For the first time since the fall of the Soviet Union, foreigners have a say in our leadership.

I just want to wish all my American friends a happy Thanksgiving! Me and the other British engines don't normally celebrate Thanksgiving, but I went to the American engines' Thanksgiving party at Vicarstown earlier and had a really nice time! I hope all of you ate well and spent some quality time with family and friends for the holiday!

A new era begins. The Coltsov family will no longer rule the Motherland, but will instead be diplomats.
The candidates for the proverbial throne are:

Artyom Niklovich: (Belarus) Wants to ensure the strength of the military, make the nation self efficient, and end international trade.

Viktor Chuikov: (Urals) Also wants to increase the military, institute a defensive policy, decrease funding to most areas.

Nikolai Dragovich: (Ukraine) Strong military, look into more powerful weapons, anti-capitalist.

Josef Reznov: (Volga) Strong military, repair Russo-German relations, decrease disappearance rate.

A poll will be made on the 1st.

Aleksi Coltsov: Do not worry friends! I will still be around.

Interesting. We wish Mr. Coltsov all the best in his new role, and whoever the next leader is, we hope he is wise and capable of leading Russkov Soviet into a bright future!

What? I'm the 2nd Most Powerful Military? ..........I must be dreaming.

Today is the 30th birthday of His Imperial Majesty Tsar Stefan. His birthday is a national holiday but since it falls on a Saturday this year, a long weekend was declared. Long may be reign!

On behalf of myself, and Aleksi Coltsov, I do wish His Imperial Majesty a very joyous and indeed happy birthday. How could I forget? On behalf of the Motherland as well.

Why does President have to be such a stubborn kucha nemetskogo der'ma?!?! ....... I try to arrange meeting with the NATO and the EU for peace talking. But konechno net! He will not talk to me because I am kommunist!

-deep breath-

I will give him two weeks to change mind.... I have already come to agreement with Polish leader Andrzej Duda to allow me to move Red Army to German border if he declare hostility between nations. But for now? Siberia waits....and Russian Motherland sleeps....

All the best wishes to His Imperial Majesty Tsar Stefan on behalf of the people, the government and the royal family of Penguania and Antarctica. We show him our utmost respect. During his reign our nations became close friends and allies. We can not forget his deeds and words that formed our nations deep relationship.

As a present and a symbol of reward of his personal efforts, King Elijah II. hereby bestows the Grand Cross special class of the Order of Terra Antarctica on Tsar Stefan.

Hip, hip, hurra. :)

The Tsar is most humbled and grateful for being given such an honour. He thanks His Majesty King Elijah and his great country. We hope to maintain the warmest friendship with you.

Someone called me selfish today after watching me answer a few issues.... Well.... If I am selfish, then why is:

- Josef working on repairing Russo-German relations while dealing with the national to-do list....

- Aleksi is over in Nuremgard entertaining His Majesty on a special day...

- Luna is in Ukraine trying to sort out their issues with Russia

- Gen. Romanov is in Syria trying to fix the mess...

- James Percy (Aleksi's Son) is in Africa helping villages with food, water, and so on....

- Russian troops are stationed around the globe trying to assist where possible....

- And the Russian Navy is battling the cartels in Central and South America despite no real reason to do so....

.....So as you can see... Selfish? Hardly.

What do you mean by battling my allies in South America and Central as well? Mexico and the rest of the Spanish Empire are under protection of their Fatherland in Iberia (except when we are the one's invading them) not to mention our bases in Venezuela, when the hell did you get past us? I know we have blown up majority of our comms in a small EMP incident 2 or so weeks ago but how did no one stop you???? Seems like i have to shoot some deserters again.....

OOC
I have been without internet ever since my last message, it took until today to get it fixed since i moved home. Annoying as hell i can tell you. Hope you are feeling better Ruskov, ironically i am also sick right now XD

The Issue
In an ongoing war that Spanelsko is embroiled in, your navy managed to capture something interesting: a huge but ageing battleship. You are now the arbiter of her fate.

Hmm... maybe this is what the reports of "red cucks" was meant to be about. Might this be one of your ships comrade Reznov?

BTW Brasil is a fair game, they are Portuguese after all, other special regions under our protection are Louisiana (the state not the whole french colony, for those confused google Napoleon's trade deal with Spain) Florida for obvious reasons (used to be spain) Texas New Mexico and California. Rest of the USA is fair game.

1) And proud of it

2) I....don't have any bases in South America. We are actually leaving our only base in Central America, located in Cuba, and mostly staying on our side of the Atlantic. The conflict with the cartels? We were hired by a couple companies to escort their ships. I guess the cartels wanted what was in those ships....

3) Glad to hear your internet is back. Sorry that your sick... I know the feeling. -coughs-

All of our ships are still accounted for. It was likely a relic from before the collapse of the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation.

Fair....Fair... But uh... Seeing as how I'm OOC'd from Texas.... Got to dispute that.

Ok that's fine i guess, but if the cartels request my help the entire Atlantic Fleet of Iberia will blow you out of Cuba. After all as one of the leading Criminal Empire's of the world its my duty to protect fellow criminals. Mind telling which companies are annoying my trade partners? I mean after all if anyone dares to ignore the special imposed tax on coke and other drugs..... never mind they are unlikely going there for that right? Either way i would like their names, my suicide bombers are quite bored lately due to lack of enough wars.

As for Texas, why do you have problem with it being protected by the Supreme Iberian Khanate and its other lesser Khanate's? After all we are still the biggest military power of the world, thanks to our doctrine of Endless War.

OOC
From all the American states i like Texas the most, as for the one i dislike most it would likely be one of the states in new England, new York i think its called? Or was it only name of the city?
