(I suppose with the end of the Akaviri War arch and it looking like the Calendar Reckoning will pass that for the rest of July anyone can lightly RP in the gap in time that will occur between now and Last Seed 204.

As far as Trollz is concerned this last post was the end of the Fourth Trollz Saga and I will take a break for now in terms of writing the Trollz Sagas and resume the Fifth Trollz Saga in August to coincide with the timeskip unless it is suddenly defeated in the poll.)

Nadd, Dreughia, Alofstead, and Canulusia

(With the passage of the vote to reckon the calendar passed unanimously and the The Emperor of Tamriel granting me some greater administration capabilities (thanks!) I have edited the frontpage to read as year 204 4E. On August 1st 2020 an in-RP timeskip will occur jumping the RP timeline ahead a few months to Last Seed 204 in order to tie the RP calendar to the real world calendar. Until August you may feel free to RP in the gap of the first half of the year 204 4E. The next time the RP year will need changed is on New Year's now of the real year.

Since I have been graciously given greater admin authority and have some time also until i kick up the next Trollz Saga I am open to any suggestions you guys might have in terms of sprucing the Region up in both the OOC aspect as well as the RP/creative writing aspect.)

I just chose my responses at random lol! I roleplay on my alt (Ashspawnia) but on here I just choose responses to my issues by clicking response 1 to the first issue, response 2 to the second etc etc. I resolved to do that from the day that I started this nation and it's the reason why my nation classification tends to jump around a lot (I'm currently a Psychotic Dictatorship despite not being an Autocracy!). When I started this nation, I didn't have time to roleplay so thought this was a fun but low effort way to play the game!

(I work the Issues very heavily into RP with my other older account, Japhetia. Trollz started off as a more lighthearted alt account for me, so on the Issues I would answer the most lurid options, or sometimes I just frankly answer them at random.

With Trollz the story is completely separated from the NationStates game. While I don't tie the Issues into the RP, I do like to use Trollz and company as observers of events from other nations which I try to work into the RP. Really this last Fourth Trollz Saga was somewhat unique in that Trollz and his companions were more proactive drivers of the RP events with the other nations, rather than passive observers or minor participants.)

Yeah I use issues to RP but it's a struggle sometimes to remember to keep in line with my national ethos rather than my own political ideals. I try to stick to the ideals of Namira; so make my nation venerate decay, disease and appear disgusting to outsiders. Weirdly, we're quite paternalistic as long as we don't violate the aforementioned values! (So we have generous welfare spending, while having no healthcare xP)

I do both as well 🙂. I roleplay as an early to mid 20th century nation set in Tamriel, which is a kind of a mindf*ck to think about 😂!

I roleplay as my nation's history on the board, though, so that it matches up with the agreed era!

(Lol you are correct we have always been in the 4E, but the year is 204 (which it would have been anyways with or without the calendar reckoning since Evening Star was the last month of 203). We merely have jumped forward a few months so that now the RP/TES Lore calendar is tied to the real life calendar making the month Last Seed, the equivalent to real August. This is so that it is organizationally easier on us, and we'll always be able to know the month since it's equivalent to the real world. The date proper is 2nd Last Seed, 4E 204.)

The Empire of Tamriel: The Fifth Trollz Saga 2nd Last Seed, 4E 204

Gentle waves lap upon the northern shores of Morrowind. Out in the middle of nowhere near an Ashlander reservation a few of the lethargic tribesmen point out a ship approaching in the distance. The sudden show of something out of the ordinary excites the dark elf men and they cry out and gather their weapons and approach the shores. From a large tent emerge the chieftain and his wife, both clad in tribal warrior garment. They call on their royal guard standing around and arm themselves and rush towards the shore as from the distance two small boats loaded with a motley of people row in to them. A few archers pull back their arrows and take aim at the interlopers waiting for the command.

"Wait, hold your fire." The wife of the chieftain yells out as a big beast leaps out of a boat with a great splash and hurriedly swims ashore running towards them. She rushes forward to meet the troll which barrel towards her.

"Felicity. Soregh. It is so good to see you again." An orc clad in imperial armor with a cape bearing the insignia of the The Empire of Tamriel salutes the Ashland chieftain and his wife as the troll happily runs between the couple slobbering all over them and being petted.

"Mazog and Cassandra it is great to see you two again." Felicity walks over and gives Cassandra a hug. The troll excitedly runs over and pulling Soregh and Sir Mazog in his massive frost troll arms also gives them all a group hug. "Ergh...yes yes and you too of course Trollz."

"Frendz!" Trollz shrieks out happily seeing his two old Dunmer friends again before running madly off into the camp where the bemused and bored villagers play with the beast and feed him.

"And who are these?" Soregh the Ashland chieftain asks the orc Sir Mazog and the Breton woman Cassandra, pointing at the second boat finally catching up and disembarking with another motley crew; a pale Nordic man, an Imperial woman, a scruffy looking Khajit, and a high elf woman.

"This is Zep Po." Sir Mazog points to the Khajit whom does a massive skilled acrobatic leap out of the boat to avoid touching the water landing on the sand near Sir Mazog. The orc points to the Imperial woman next, "and this is Bella."

"I am Tizona, representative of the Aldmeri Dominion." The tall High Elf woman steps forward before Sir Mazog can introduce her. She look down at the Dunmer a hint of distaste in her eyes. "How can it be fellow elves live so poorly outside the Dominion?"

"Deceived by our own kind, the Redoran, we were consigned to these reservations. An evil repayment for our fallen and wounded including my own husband and father for our service defending Morrowind from the Great N'Wah during the war." Felicity spits back her face contorting with anger as her pride is checked before the face of another proud elf. "Where is father? I feel sorrow of heart for I know if he were alive he'd have been among the first to greet us, but he did know he may die as a warrior."

"Asher is dead....he was killed by...." Suddenly everyone grows very quiet and Sir Mazog tensely begins to try to tell Felicity of her father's death a year a go.

"I, Madai Thundermoon killed him. I do not deserve to live. It is just for you to take my life." The strong pale Nordic man throws his axe down before Felicity and Soregh and falls to his hands and knees and exposed his neck.

"You N'Wah? You killed my father? What is the meaning of this Mazog, you came all this way for this?" Felicity is shocked and clutches her spear ad points it at Madai. The Imperial woman named Bella seems to react a little reaching towards her bow and arrows.

"Yes, at the wedding of my daughter Medea and that wood elf Maerwyn. He fought me bravely and near fairly while I was in my human form, but when I turned into a werewolf he was no match...." Madai looks up suddenly his eyes glowing eyes. "I'm a werewolf no longer, but that's no excuse, no, that's more the reason for me to die. It is just for you to kill me and it should be you. I killed your father quickly, I snapped his back in two. Now kill me quickly and run me through!" Madai lifts himself up and with seemingly inhuman strength tears his leather cuirass open exposing his chest and squaring it up to the quivering point of Felicity's spear begging to die.

"Why are you so eager to die? It seems this woman here is going to react if we kill you." Soregh steps forward his short sword drawn eying the beautiful brunette Bella.

"I.....I have been turned into a vampire. I lost the gift of Hircine. I am the murderer of your father, I almost murdered my daughter and that worthless Maerwyn. Just kill me all ready." Madai takes a long glance into Bella's eyes and then looks back at Felicity.

"There may be another way." Sir Mazog pipes in. "It has come to the attention of the Elder Council that several forces are searching for an Elder Scroll that was found a few years a go by the Dovakhin of Skyrim before he disappeared. We have to find this Elder Scroll. The Akaviri spoke of it being able to make a gateway from their continent to Tamriel. And if that is possible, what of all the Daedric princes whom seem to have been restless in this time as well?

"I and the Mages Guild have foreseen that it is pertinent that we find the Elder Scroll and return it to the Imperial City where it can be secured. This will not be a light adventure though, and survival is not guaranteed. Following the prophecy only a group of adventurers from each of the races of Tamriel can find the Elder Scroll, and yet no race of man nor mer may hold the ancient roll....." Cassandra states cryptically.

"So this is where Trollz come in, eh?" Zep Po the Khajit looks up at some Ashland children chasing the frost troll around the small reservation.

"Precisely. This is also the real reason we have come as well. I promised Trollz I'd take him to Medea and Maerwyn in Solstheim, and we need a Dunmer warrior also. As a matter of justice if you wish to execute Madai you may do so, though I would pardon him for he and this Bella saved me at the Battle of Cheydinhal. He can serve the Empire for good to pay for his crimes. Besides he still might die in the adventure." Sir Mazog turns everyone's attention back to Madai still standing in front of Felicity's spear.

"I will not murder Medea's father like Madai murdered mine. I will go with you and get her opinion. If I put you to death it shall be a just death." Felicity raises the spear.

"Honey, no. I will go with them. You still must take care of the Asher that is alive." Soregh suddenly interjects.

"He is over a year and weaned. My husband you must lead our tribe." Felicity protests.

"We shall decide by the lots of Azura then." Soregh resolves.

----------------------------------------------

The Ashland wise woman comes out with some bones and casts the oracle to verify with the Ashland custom that a warrior is to depart. Confirming this she then casts the lots between Soregh and Felicity to choose which shall represent the Dunmer in this fellowship to gain an Elder Scroll. The wise woman's lots fall on Felicity.

The group stays in the Ashlander Reservation for a few days gathering some supplies and holding a feast to see Felicity off. Sir Mazog seeing as Great Redoran's house has collapsed grants the Ashlanders some wider lands, enlarging their reservation to be the old border of the Urshilaiku Clan's campgrounds before they were moved on to reservations. Though this is helpful, with many of the other Ashland tribes having been relocated here also it is still quite crammed. Sir Mazog and Felicity promise to try to restore some of the Ashlanders ancestral lands and advocate for them in their adventures.

Ready to depart Felicity and the crew leave with great fanfare from the locals . The dark elf woman kisses her baby named after her late father and hands him to Soregh.

"Be sure to raise him to be a strong Dunmer man and warrior like his grandfather whose name he bears and you his father who shall guide him and our people should I not return my love." Felicity stands for a moment, her and Soregh holding their child between them.

"My love you came back to me before, you will come back to me again, promise me." Soregh kisses his wife.

"I cannot promise it this time, but I will try." Felicity smiles and looks around the camp one last time before she joins the Fellowship of Trollz.

The Empire of Tamriel: Departure From Solstheim 8th Heartfire, 4E 204

The Fellowship had arrived in Solstheim about three weeks prior and made the small trek to Maerwyn and Medea's cabin on the outskirts of the settlement of Raven's Rock. They found the cabin empty and devoid of any signs of the couple revisiting it. Finding the door sealed with a level 90 lock mechanism they decided to wait until nightfall and investigate the town. The locals said they had not seen that the pair for over a year when Sir Mazog commissioned them to help defend Tamriel from the Akaviri Invasion.

Resigned, the party returned to the cabin and Zep Po the Khajit delicately worked on picking the difficult lock all night, breaking many picks in the process. Around midnight to the glee of the bored companions, Zep managed to open the lock with only a few picks to spare. Gaining entry to the house the Fellowship enters and lights and a fire and cooks some food. Zep Po after intensely focusing on the difficult lock walks into Medea and Maerwyn's room and collapses asleep on the bed purring loudly in deep drowse. Trollz eagerly remembers the cooking pot and sits down looking up at Cassandra as she prepares a stew, like a hungry dog his two good eyes grows largely and he drools expectantly for some food. Madai with Bella and the pale Redguard Olivia, the two vampiresses under his arms tours the house grunting out some begrudged approval.

"Well, at least he has a decent sized enough house I suppose for a family." Madai mutters.

"Do you wish you were a mortal again my love?" Bella's thick kissy lips play a sinister smile.

"No. Men have lost their connection with the world and Nirn, their innate free nature like the beasts have." Madai shakes his head. "But my daughter has made her choice, she has her own free spirit like her mother did. If that Maerwyn cannot provide for her like a man I will not fail to kill him the next time."

"Forget this past life and Medea, stay a child of Nocturne with us and be my daddy. Surely you are hungry and forgetting who you are now. Drink from me daddy." Olivia the pale skinned Redguard vampiress seductively and submissively throws her arm around Madai's strong neck kissing it and baring her own imploring him to drink from her.

"Was she more beautiful than me? Your former wife?" Bella the sumptuous dark-haired Imperial vampiress on the other hand breaks away and gives a jealous look at Madai.

"Yes she was very beautiful, a warrior, a free spirit too." Madai grins back at Bella whom snarls at him with her fangs suddenly and throws Olivia, whom is desperately clinging to Madai, to the side.

"Even if you do cure yourself from Nocturne's Gift remember I'm mommy now." Bella grabs Madai by the beard and pulls him into her lips kissing him and biting down on her tongue the same way she infected him with the vampirism and making him drink her blood.

----------------------------------------------

After the rest of the party that aren't vampires finish eating Cassandra's stew, Madai announces to them that he must go retrieve the Wolfsbane Petals as part of the special potion they need to make in order to cure him of vampirism and the lingering side effects from his long time as a werewolf. Remembering the location from their previous adventures Sir Mazog and Felicity agree to lead Madai alone of the vampires with them and they also bring along Tizona the High Elf spellsword with them. They set out leaving the rest of the party at the cabin in case Maerwyn and Medea return, and to purchase and forage some supplies.

After about a week of trekking to the far north of the island of Solstheim the four arrive at Hvitkald Peak. A familiar pass greets them along with the familiar shriek of rieklings, the little impish goblin-like creatures that inhabit the wilds of the island. Somewhat sentient like goblins and falmer, the rieklings issue out of the same cave where a band of them had assaulted the party years a go. Felicity the Dunmer Ashland warrior leaps down from a pass above swinging her spear in a wide arch and knocking the rieklings back and some tumbling down the mountainside. She engages the warband with ferocity and with a human howl Madai jumps down from above his axe dancing through the rieklings with supernatural vampiric speed. The old Nord nods approvingly at Felicity for her intensity in combat as he dispatches the last foe with a death stroke.

Suddenly a shrill blast of a crude horn blasts out and from two levels above them some boulders and rocks slide down from above battering the Madai and Felicity though the manage to avoid being squished to death or knocked off the mountain. Several more riekling issue out of the cave another group of the little monsters jeers and taunts from above and begin riding in from above mounted on wild boar. As the riekling boar riders reach the two warriors suddenly the Orc Sir Mazog in armor and sword drawn seems to appear out of thin air, his Elder Councillor cape blowing behind him and he casts the ability Blessing of the The Emperor of Tamriel upon the party augmenting their stats and vigor. His shield deflects the lance from a rider. He kills its boar with a deft slash sending its rider flying forward into the ground, before it can lift itself up the riekling is dispatched at Felicity's spear. The trio back to back fight hard fending off the swarming rieklings attacking them from both sides.

Just as they begin to tire, exhausted, wearied by some small wounds and exertion, a lightning bolt pierces a riekling ride from above. As a shriek begins to escape the creature a torrent of fireballs rains down upon the flank with the boar riders. Used to the cold and ice climates, the fire balls explode doing much damage incinerating riekling and boar alike. The fireball storm turns upon the riekling infantry and those not burned to death are sent flying off the mountain by the force of the blasts. Tizona, one of the Aldmeri Dominion's agents and representatives, casually walks down from the pass above, her enchanted sword called Colada sparks and gleams magically in her hand as she approaches.

"You are all so slow! Didn't any of you learn even any beginner's magic at least? I sent Mazog back hours a go. Well let's hurry then I found the flower." Tizona impatiently struts past the Orc, Nord, and turns to her Dark Elf kin Felicity looking her up and down tutting with some disapproval. "I can teach you a basic single fireball if you like dark sister."

"A true elf warrior has no need of magic tricks." Felicity retorts twirling her spear skillfully.

"How foolish! We are the superior magical race! You are most unwise to forsake the gifts of our higher nature. No wonder Morrowind has fallen so far." Tizona shakes her head and hands Madai the wolfsbane petals which Sir Mazog confirms.

"Morrowind may appear fallen to you, and indeed we have had many hardships, invasions by the Argonians, the Akaviri, and all the N'Wah; but Morrowind has still emerged free and we earned it by only our strength! Goldenskin sister perhaps I will let you teach me some basic magic for the good of our Fellowship, but be wary that your arrogance will be your weakness. It is wiser and stronger for us to just live in peace and freedom, not to conquer the other men and the mer and continue the cycle of bondage and slavery." Felicity, whom had been enslaved by the Argonians at one time rebukes Tizona but agrees to learn some novice magic from her later.

------------------------------

Another week elapses when the four that had set out to retrieve some wolfsbane return to the cabin at Raven's Rock. Trollz runs up excitedly sniffing them curiously smelling some boar meat which they had harvested from their battle with the rieklings. They wait until the first week of the month of Heartfire passes on the chance that Maerwyn and Medea might show up, but they never do. Sir Mazog announces that the party cannot tarry much longer and suggests that since Skyrim was the last place the Elder Scroll was known to be, that perhaps they sail to Winterhold where Medea is also a member of the Mage's Guild there.

Agreeing to this plan the party well stocked with supplies returns to their ship and sets sail for the mainland of Skyrim. Sir Mazog and Cassandra write a note and leave it at the cabin for Maerwyn and Medea and recounting their adventures in brief since they became separated. Trollz dips his paw in ink and imprints in on the back to confirm he is alive. Madai slides a secret letter he had written himself into a book, Mystery of Talara, on Medea's bookshelf. Zep Po the Khajit re-locks the house much quicker than it took for him to pick it.

The odd display

(Hey, got here yesterday, I’m new here, and I’m looking to claim a spot on the map.)

The Empire of Tamriel: Caught In The Ice 21st Sun's Dusk, 4E 204

Over a month a go the party of adventurers and their ship docked in the cold northern waters of Winterhold. Situated in the extreme north of Tamriel, the Great Northern Sea has frozen over early. Using the time of a month the crew met with the College of Winterhold and secured permission to stay. The vampires, especially Madai whom is presumed to be dead in Skyrim, have opted to remain with the ship and hunted some horkers out on the ice in the month the rest of the crew stayed in Winterhold.

The College had managed to somehow find the legendary Eye of Magnus a few years a go in the time of the Dovakhin, and while this has boosted their reputation among mages and the The Empire of Tamriel, it also has had an ill effect too. Now and then troublesome creatures of basic form called Magical Anomalies emerge and attack the town. These creatures are formless and so their attacks are not actually very powerful, but the difficulty in killing them due to their strong magical shell makes life difficult if their numbers are not kept in check. To pay for their stay the remainder of the crew agrees to help provide magical pest control for the town.

Tizona and Cassandra both being members of the Mage's Guild all ready use this time to learn some new spells and practice. Though wary of magic, Felicity agreed to allow Tizona to teach her a basic fireball spell in Solstheim. During the stay the Dunmer chieftainess also allows the guild mages to teach her a few other basic destruction magic spells and to practice them to raise her skill level enough to be proficient with basic spells.

When not helping Zep Po and Trollz and the mages cull the magical anomaly creatures, Sir Mazog pours over the famous library of the Arcaneum Along with another orc whom is the head librarian, Urag gro-Shub, the Elder Councilor searches for lore about the Elder Scrolls. The old orc librarian tells Sir Mazog about how the Dovakhin had found the last known Elder Scroll nearby in a cave shrine to the daedra Hermaeus Mora, but that this scroll was taken by the Dragonborn to fulfill his famous quest. The librarian suggests that perhaps the Elder Scroll could be anywhere in Skyrim, or even Solstheim for that matter if it had remained with the Dragonborn. Otherwise it could be lost entirely and like many of the powerful and divine artifacts of the world may have manifested itself elsewhere by now.

Studying the histories for weeks on end Sir Mazog also finds books which recall the finding of an entirely different Elder Scroll in the third era. This Elder Scroll had been stolen by the Gray Fox, the leader of the thieves guild, from the very secret and guarded vaults of the Elder Council itself. Though it is unclear what happened to this Gray Fox, it is thought that the town of Anvil where the Count Umbranox suddenly returned around the same time the Scroll was stolen might be a promising lead if the Scroll of Skyrim cannot be found. Zep Po the Khajit confirms this account being a thieves guild member himself. He notes that it was thought within the internal lore of the Thieves Guild that Count Umbranox had been the previous Gray Fox, but that he used an Elder Scroll to undo the curse of that office which prevented people from recognizing a person before handing over the Gray Cowl to the next Gray Fox.

--------------------------------------------------------

Almost two months elapse from when the crew arrived in Winterhold and stayed there. After buying up what little supplies are afforded for sale in the small northern city, and training and researching, they return to the ship, still stuck in the frozen seas to discuss which Elder Scroll to try to hunt down. Having found no sign of Maerwyn and Medea either, Madai supported by the two vampiresses consider searching Skyrim the best choice since there is a chance they may find his daughter Medea too. Sir Mazog, Felicity and Zep Po insist that going on the long voyage around Tamriel to Anvil, where the lore is more certain to lead them to the Elder Scroll, or at least a significant clue to finding one is more prudent. Tizona walks up deck hearing the argument.

"What use is it anyways to wait to sail to Anvil? The boat is fast frozen in the sea, we cannot sail among icebergs lest the boat be dashed to pieces. Let us just travel through Skyrim on foot until I find my daughter, then we can go whichever way you please if you wish to still spare my life." Madai argues with Sir Mazog and the others against sailing to Anvil.

"Ha we will have a way to figure that out!" Tizona shouts and turns her hand unleashing a massive torrent of flames near the front of the ship melting some of the ice. "Sisters, show them what you have learned." The high elf calls out and Cassandra and Felicity throw their own fire magic into the spray of the flames melting off the ice around them which begin to rapidly steam.

"Gahhhh! FIRE!!!" Trollz shrieks at the sight of such a show of fire magic and runs madly down below deck. The three mages stop and laugh and Cassandra goes below to calm Trollz down and bring him back up the deck.

"Do you have any idea how far Anvil is?! We'd still have to sail across the entire cold north, High Rock and Hammerfell to get there. You can't melt it fast enough." Bella turns her nose up at Tizona.

"Lazy harlot I am not confined to a box in the daylight like you." Tizona snarls back and a spark crackles between her hand and her enchanted lightning sword Colada.

"We will be too close to Aldmeri Dominion waters......or perhaps that's just what this arrogant high elf bich wants!" Bella snarls back baring her long vampiric fangs and her arm also makes its way slowly down to where her knives are.

"Now now ladies hold on!" Sir Mazog ever the diplomat intervenes between the two. "It's true we cannot really sail all the way to Anvil until the winter is over, and that's not for many more months. And the Aldmeri Dominion must not find out about our quest." Sir Mazog nods at Bella and then turns to Tizona. "However with your help we could get to Solitude at least more quickly." Sir Mazog then turns to Madai whom he originally began the dispute with. Madai silently stone-faced considers the orc's suggestion. "Solitude has a better harbor and after investigating the the town we could decide then which route to pursue. Perhaps also Maerwyn and Medea have gone there, but if not it is the biggest city in Skyrim, we are sure to learn something."

"Aye and we will be able to resupply also for the city is very rich! It be a good waypoint whether we travel by sail or the sole of our paws." Zep Po the Khajit nods approvingly to Sir Mazog's plan.

The group agrees to this plan and the mages; Tizona, Cassandra, and Felicity disembark from the ship and go on ahead of the ship to magically melt the ice and cut a path for the ship out of the harbor and towards Solitude. Trollz, Sir Mazog, and Madai take turns throughout the day and night to guard the three mages on the ground from pesky horkers and mudcrabs and the occasional lone ice wolf which wander the frozen icebergs. Tjolfdir and the Mage's Guild see their efforts from afar and help them greatly make it out to sea for about three days journey and then return to the College of Winterhold. It is slow going trapped in the ice and having the thaw their way out, but the crew creeps along the frozen sea determinedly forward.
