Finally, it is a ridiculous fantasy that even excessively armed citizens could have even a remote chance of facing the American military. Other than the police and military, and maybe a few rare rural exceptions, American citizens have no reason to own firearms. If you want to use a gun, develop the courage to enlist.

Scandinavian countries are welfare state's. American citizens have every right to own a gun to defend themselves and to feed their families, for those who hunt. Have you ever read the U.S. Constitution?

And welfare states are social democracies. The terminologies regarding different socioeconomic systems are confusing and vary depending on nation. I do not support state ownership of all industry, but rather a mixed economy (as America already has) with stronger regulation, especially of key industries such as the energy sector. I support free college, combined with mandatory service. It is clear that we do not agree on this issue, and will not get any farther in this discussion. What did you put as your favorite bread?

Free college is fine, but we should of strong regulations on monopolies (Disney) and the energy industry. A welfare state in America would never work.

I am glad that we have come to an agreement on several issues! I really do not think that our beliefs are as different as it may appear. I apologize for bringing up politics; as a rule, I usually avoid political discussion. Do any of you play Magic the Gathering?

Most Americans probably have a strong aversion against social, not socialist, policies because they immediately associate with Communism. And especially the rich don't have any interest in social policies. They advocate the "American Dream" which doesn't really exist anymore.

Social policies are already here.

I mean more social policies. For example, there are people who oppose free general healthcare or free education, including college, for everyone.

It is a card game that is about 25 years old. It is sometimes described as the most complex game ever created, as each year new rules are added. However, they invest massively in game design, so it is incredibly fun and plays well. I was wondering because a new set of decks released yesterday. Do any of you have a favorite movie?

That it does.

Free healthcare isn't a issue. If America would look at Canada on that. Canada is a capitalist country too!

More companies are getting into that.

Marxism is Socialism, Karl Marx was a legitimate racist.

Canada has free healthcare, right? And yes you're right with that. A country can be capitalist while maintain a reasonable amount of social policies and rules for the free market.

It may not be artistic, but it is a fun movie, and, if anything, the campieness makes it more enjoyable. One of my favorite movies is "Almost Famous."
