That's good to know (the message hadn't been passed on by the time I posted).
Thanks for the detailed explanation.
Yeah, I just happened to spot a couple of regions on your embassy list that I knew to be very small. It seemed inconsistent that ours was the only embassy getting closed, so I took a quick look through the others.
Although you're one of our oldest embassies, I guess neither side is really losing anything material, as we have little contact between us anyway. That said, it never feels good to be rejected or excluded. And this was then compounded by the appearance that these rules were being imposed on us, whilst everyone else was being made an exception. It looked like we were being singled out.
It's weird to get emotionally caught up about which hyperlinks sit beneath a WFE in this text-browser game, but there you have it. NS has a weird power!
All the best for your future. I hope this policy works out for you.
12 August 1099 (921 years ago): First Crusade: Battle of Ascalon Crusaders under the command of Godfrey of Bouillon defeat Fatimid forces led by Al-Afdal Shahanshah. This is considered the last engagement of the First Crusade.
Discussion Question: How significant was the impact of the Crusades on history, and generally how important were they in relation to other events of the era?
[quote=gufand;40170413]Don't you mean a tornado lol?
No, basically a storm that looked like a hurricane.
Yep I can't decide.
