Nah, I don't have nearly enough forum fame for that, which is pretty much required for someone to even be eligible for the position of NS mod. It's not that that's an official rule, of course, but good luck getting recommended and seen as a good candidate without it.

Nope, but as Van mentioned, using mods as leverage would be the issue with that idea. As in, I'm fairly certain that it counts as using a NS mod as weapon, which is part of the list of banned things found in the One Stop Rule Shop. Unless, of course, your idea would be that having a NS mod in the region would make moderating the place easier. It probably wouldn't change much, though, due to me already being a RO here.
